There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... BASED ON DAYSCAFE NOON TWEETS: Steve comes to Fynn's motel room with Joey. He cannot reach Kayla. Steve hopes for a message and is worried about her health. Joe wonders why ... Kayla arrives at the commune with John. Jade, Simone and Dirk are less than thrilled to see them. Kayla demands her son. Jade admits he was arrested for robbery. Simone steps in and states the boy's father was here when the cops took Joey. He evidently did not care to share with his ex ... At the Salem police station, Roman updates Shawn and Lani that thus far no body has been found. Here comes Rafe sticking up for Nicole, refusing to believe she could have killed Deimos ... Nicole remembers her run-in with Deimos, when he argued she was living a lie. Then he dramatically declared she would lose either way. Nicole mutters she did not murder him ... Queen Kate is enjoying herself at the mansion and remembers her last words with Deimos, elegantly holding her martini in a manicured hand. Flashback to her fury down by the river. Kate now sits in an expensive chair and cackles at her coup ... Steve has told Joey about Ava's attack affecting Kayla and causing her cranial condition. Fynn tells him it will take time for her to get over the side effects and she must be monitored. Joey blames himself but Steve believes Ava was his past and his responsibility. He now asks to use Fynn's phone as his charges ... Kayla is highly agitated. John talks tough with Simone. He suggests they will be ratted out now cos he suspects them all. In the end cops will get them for their crimes! Steve calls Kayla to update her that Joey is fine. She now speaks to her son and cries what was he thinking ... Back at the Salem station, dedicated detective Rafe reasons Nicole has changed. Roman reasons they have an eye witness. Kate. Rafe pauses. They now enter the interrogation room where Nicole nervously awaits. She implores Rafe to tell Roman it is a misunderstanding and she did not do anything to disappeared Deimos! Rafe glances at Roman, who has his usual poker face on ... Back at the California commune, John grins as Kayla chews out Joey on the phone. Joey lament he is a loser son. Kayla rages to take responsibility. He agrees he will have to come back to LA for his trial, and is so sorry now that he knows she is unwell. They exchange I loves yous and she asks to speak with Steve. Steve gushes she got through to Joey and asks if John is with her. Confirmed. He asks her to head back to the motel ... After the call, brainwashed Jade defends the family to Kayla. John almost laughs. Kayla accuses her of ruining her life and stoned Simone of ruining them all ... Down by the raging river forensics Shawn finds a fallen earring. Tis only the first clue ... Rafe acts official and advises Nicole to answer their questions truthfully. Roman explains she was last one to see Deimos when they were down by the river. Someone saw and filmed their fight. She anxiously adds she left after they argued but Roman replies the witness dropped the phone. The rest she said she saw with her own eyes. He slyly wonders what Nicole thinks that would be. Rafe suggests an attorney so Nicole soon calls Belle, who is at the square. Brady referred her for corporate stuff and so she updates her on her Deimos dilemma. According to someone who recorded their exchange, she is the last one who saw Deimos alive. Belle says ooooooooh. Rafe comes back and off the record demands to know what in the world was going on with her and Deimos! Nicole suspects she was being spied on, and deduces it was Kate! THAT BITCH WAS SETTING ME UP! ... Simone calls Kayla an outsider, one who knows nothing. Kay accuses her of bullying her son. Simone talks peace, and lies Joey broke the rules as the brainwashed teens stand by her. John scoffs she is full of it and sold her new member down the river. Kayla snaps her brain is so fried she will end up in prison ... Forensics Shawn now finds another clue - blood on a tree ... Rafe realizes Nicole believed Kate was jealous of her and Deimos. Lawyer Belle arrives and wants to talk to her client alone They discuss and later face the questions from Roman and Rafe together. Nicole explains Deimos was enamored of her as she looked like Helena, his lost love. Belle dismisses Kate's claim, and concludes the cops have no reasonable proof so they are done! Nicole is free to go. Roman drawls don't leave town ...Joey steps out to buy some snacks for the long road trip. Steve wants to talk to Fynn, and notes neither have been cool. However, he owes him for taking care of Kayla. They shake hands ... Simone alludes to Joey craving adventure just like papa Steve, who loved her kaboucha hoochie tea. Kayla is furious. Simone smiles Steve is welcome here anytime! John ushers Kayla out before she explodes. Once outside, he admits he is surprised by her anger, as he had assumed she was moving on with Fynn ... Nicole cannot believe what Kate tried to do to her. Belle says go straight home and stay away from any contact with Kate! Meanwhile Roman and Rafe agree they have nothing but Shawn shows up back at the station with a game changer ... Kayla is confused. John sighs forget what he said but it breaks his heart that she and Steve are apart. Kayla complains Steve craves adventure more than her. Exasperated John enlightens her. YOU ARE THE BIG ADVENTURE ... GIVE THE MAN A CHANCE! Back in Salem, the cops discuss the latest. Rafe wants them to wait for results of the blood test before making any assumptions. Shawn spies Belle and asks if she is free tonight. She replies she is not. Lani watches from her desk ... Kayla and John are now back at the motel with Fynn, Joey and Steve. The lad is sorry he ran or rather drove away, and cannot explain it. He had to find himself and now knows he does not want to disappoint his folks. He will try and make better choices. John concludes we all make mistakes and thus grow. The Johnson family come together for a family hug ... Queen Kate hears the door knock. No butler hears her so she opens it herself. Nicole bitch slaps her hard! Crash goes the martini to the floor ... John has called a cab for the airport and wishes Steve and the gang a safe journey home. Kayla wants to talk to Fynn. John wants to talk to Steve about a client and they step out together. Kayla wants to say something to Fynn, but he notes it is not necessary ... he understands ... Livid Lani listens. Belle tells Shawn she cannot do dinner tonight so he offers her soup for later. Claire likes it. Belle smiles. He hopefully adds they can watch Netflix. Belle is IN. Shawn cutely calls it a date ... Nicole storms inside and insists Kate knows she did not do anything to Deimos so stop the stories! Kate coldly claims she saw her kill her husband. Nicole is shocked cos it cannot be! Why, there was not enough time for them to have wed! Kate victoriously declares she has the documents to prove it with her lawyers ... DRAMATIC ENDING: John suspects Steve is not listening, he is more interested in what Fynn and Kayla are saying, his head at the door. John drawls to his partner to let it go and pats him on the shoulder ... Fynn wants to visit friends in LA and fly home. He tells Kayla she can have the car and ride off with Steve. He feels they would have been fabulous together but saw her with her family and will now back off. Kayla goes out to join Joey and Steve. John has already caught his cab. They start to leave for their road trip when Kayla suddenly falters and holds her head ... Belle flirts she can only watch 2 episodes tonight cos she has to work on Nicole's case. Shawn wonders whether she thinks Nicole did it. She cannot discuss but smiles she will see Shawn later. Lani stares darkly ... Rafe and Roman discuss Nicole being drawn into Victor's diabolical plan. Rafe doubts she is capable of murder ... Nicole hisses Deimos did not want to marry Kate and he made a play for her! Kate hisses she has documents to prove they were already married plus she has a damning recording so Nicole is going DOWN! Nicole vows to find out what really happened and expose her. Kate counters wait until his body shows up and calls her a dead woman walking. Meanwhile miles away Deimos has just washed up to shore. His face is bloodied and he is not moving but guess what ...
