He calls her a liar. Abe asks whether he loves her. Theo sighs he thought he knew her ... Claire wants to close her door on Jade, who reminds her she already apologized. Claire is furious how she made her and Theo feel by filming them. They were seen by family! Jade makes light of it. Claire denounces her forever ... Kayla is surprised to see unscheduled Tripp at the hospital. He would like to speak to interns too. Kayla will help but has to attend to an emergency first ... At the center soulful Eric states his case to Nicole, who screams she is upset about losing Holly again. Eric had no idea ... Jen and Adrienne discuss Jack's erratic stepmother Angelica. Adrienne fears they will lose the newspaper to the vengeful vixen ... Eric is troubled to learn what happened to Nicole and especially Holly, who is to be in foster care for two months. He is sorry and believes Justin will be able to help. Nicole is inconsolable ... Kayla comes out looking pale as she lost her patient Mr. Sherman. Tripp says he is sorry. Kayla steps out for air. At the pub Joey is clearing breakfast dishes when Jade enters complaining about Claire. He is on Claire's side and lets her know she is lucky she was not charged! Jade exclaims few people saw the tape she made of Theo and Claire. Kayla walks in and gasps WHAT ... At the club, Adrienne assures Jen she appreciates all Justin has done although ... Jen feels they need some good old fashioned dirt on the diva trying to steal the Spectator. Angelica slinks over to their table and greets the ladies with a wicked glint in her eye. Jade soap stares through her messy hair. Joey defends his friend and wishes Kayla would not upset her. He can deal with Jade. Kayla has no choice but to accept it, casts Jade a dirty look and departs. Jade praises Joey for sticking up for and understanding her. Joey is not impressed by her stunt. She complains she is being treated like a terrible person. Joey thinks she needs help. He wants her to speak to someone. She agrees for his sake, hugs him, and walks out ... Nicole tells Eric to stop tapping his pen! He now gets a call from mama Marlena and is amazed by the news. Julie is having a fundraiser for the Horton Center at Marton house. He marvels the center might make it after all and updates Nicole, who knows all about fundraising. She goes to call some contacts. Jade now enters to speak to a counselor. Eric lets the glassy eyed girl know he happens to be the counselor on duty ... Jen protests but Angelica refuses to back down. She lies this is all about business but Adrienne accuses her of being angry about Justin and now Alexander choosing her over his biological mother. Jen hisses. Adrienne puts her ancient enemy on notice and warns she will go down in flames. Angelica smirks ... Tripp makes mischief by entering a higher dosage to the man who died in Kayla's notes. Kayla returns and he excuses himself in a hurry ... Jade sits and lets Eric know who she is. He is pleased to meet her. She admits she only came as Joey asked her to do it to become a better person. She is ready to talk. Eric is listening ... At the hospital Theo comes across pretty purple volunteer Claire, who is happy to see him and agrees to talk. He has decided that due to their differences they are not a good fit. It sounds like he is dropping her. Claire realizes what is happening and the stars in her blue eyes are replaced with tears of torment. Theo is still the one that she wants. She thinks he will pursue Ciara. Theo denies it but stands firm they will not work. Claire woefully walks away ... Jade tells Eric the tale of the tape she made to help her friend go Hollywood but it backfired. Eric explains it was a violation of privacy. Jade argues one sees such scenes everywhere. Eric sees the girl has not had proper guidance. She should put herself in her friend's shoes. She notes she would not mind such a thing if it helped her. Eric informs her that the true meaning of making love is that it is an expression of love. Jade says she knows and cries she wants Joey to love her. Nicole can hear from the other room as Eric tells her to respect herself. Jade wonders how. He suggests she set goals and tells her to focus on what makes her feel good about herself. Jade thinks it will be hard. Eric gives her a pep talk about becoming less needy and feeling better about herself. It will make her stronger. Nicole smiles as it all sounds familiar. The girl thanks Eric, plans to come back for more advice and goes. He has given her his direct line. Nicole now watches him with admiration ... Angelica scoffs she was simply trying to spare feelings with her secrecy. Adrienne argues not to destroy the legacy of the late Jack. Angelica trash talks Adrienne for not being worthy of the Spectator and accuses her of leading on both Lucas and Justin. She calls her a narcissist and Jen hisses how dare she. Angelica is also aware of her health scare and suggests she used it to her advantage. Adrienne snaps and tries to attack. They struggle and Angelica keeps her at bay. Jen gasps in horror and tries to separate the two women ... Nicole watches Eric working from her desk. She has updated the databases, did some PR for the party, and is ready to go. He states she has three hours remaining. Nicole excuses herself anyway and lets him know she will do more work at the fundraiser ... Jen asks Adrienne if she is alright and Angelica claims she was the one who attacked. She warns in three weeks the Spectator is all hers unless they come up with a solution. Then she walks out. Jen hopes Adrienne is alright. Adrienne dramatically declares she will defeat Angelica ... Claire is weeping. Kayla hands her a hankie and sits beside her. She assumes Jade is to blame and shares her worry about Joey staying friends with the girl. Claire confirms that girl is nothing but trouble ... Jade catches up with Tripp at the pub. She is searching for Joey. He advises her to stop chasing after Joey as it seems obsessive. She insists they always get back together and complains about Kayla hating her. Twisted Tripp tells her how he changed her medication notes and set Kayla up for negligence in the demise of a patient. Jade cannot wait for her to go down ....! END |
