BASED ON DAYSCAFE NOON TWEETS Victor runs into Brady and baby Tate at the town square. Victor has bought a gift for Maggie and Brady teases him about it. The Greek growls about Theresa the gold digger but he admires Tate and announces he can be completely Kiriakis. Brady refuses to let that ever happen ... John summons Paul to his place and excitedly shares his happy news. Marlena has agreed to marry him again! Life is good. They talk about Steve and the big case they had in California. John muses Joey is a lot like Steve and smiles as he thinks of fathers and sons. Father and son are now sitting having a beer together ... At Shady Hills, shady Chase believes Ciara came to visit him. She cries no and go to hell as she storms off ... At the police station, Monahan repeats his confession to Roman and Rafe. He sarcastically suggests he write it down for the confused cops. He clarifies he shot the old DiMera bastard dead. Roman suggests Andre set this up. Rafe drawls it will not work. Monahan will not back down. They move to an interrogation room, where Roman reads him his rights. He knows all that and his lawyer is en route as they speak. Rafe suspects Andre either bribed or threatened him. Monahan the Irish thug replies one of his men stole Detective Brady's service revolver and he gave it to Stefano with a suggestion. Then the ol man insulted him and his family. Roman acknowledges they do know they had a history. Monahan claims he lost his cool and offed him. He wiped off the prints, tossed the gun, and took off. And the body? He dumped it at a demolition site. He suggests Rafe take some notes. Rafe scoffs Andre somehow passed on some details to him and suspects he is paying him. Roman is ready to ask more questions but Monahan's tiger lady lawyer arrives. She snaps there will be NO more answers coming from her client! Monahan smirks. Brady warns grandfather he wants Tate to be his OWN man. Victor lectures him about the great Kiriakis lineage and trash talks Theresa. Tate needs to grow up in the house of Kiriakis! Brady warns him to leave his little boy alone else he shall lose them both ... Paul hopes he takes after John. John teases he happens to be better lookin. Paul grins you wish. John wants to know what is new. Paul admits he is feeling fed up with the shallow modeling. There must be something more he can do with his abilities in life. John asks what he can do in addition to the amazing fastballs. Paul points out he has a knack for analytics, problem solving, as well as reading people. John's eyes shine with pride and he notes he sounds like he could be a private eye. He offers to train him. Paul flashes a pearly white smile and states show me the way sensei ... Ciara seeks out Marlena and cries she cannot work here cos she saw Chase and is not as strong as she was feeling before ... Roman and Rafe confer about Monahan doing Andre's bidding. Roman argues they already know Andre IS innocent and he has been locked away for months. Rafe wants Andre locked away for good. Roman speaks of the system and argues Monahan's confession would prove reasonable doubt to a jury. That is all Andre would need to have his case overturned. Rafe deduces the only way to win would be to trip up their stories. He calls for Andre ... Rafe now leaves Hope a voice message. It is urgent that he speak to her due to a dramatic development. Roman repeats they must release Andre. D.A. Justin has been updated. He concludes they can no longer keep Andre locked up and leaves to meet with Monahan and his tiger lady lawyer. The suited D.A. sits and wonders why confess now? Monahan claims he has kids and feared DiMera retaliation, especially toward his daughter ... Ciara gets a call from Rafe, who needs to reach Hope. Ciara can get the number where she is at the house. She wonders what is the matter. Rafe senses the stress in her voice and replies it is just regarding work. He offers to be here for her if she is upset. She denies it and then continues her conversation with Marlena. Marlena feels all is not lost and offers to find her another place to volunteer. Ciara now decides she will not be scared off by Chase again and is determined to stay in the very place where Abigail is. She intends to help. She now goes back to Chase and stares him down ... Hope and Aiden are seen into their room at the Green Mountain Lodge. She remembers their first waltz as they whirled around to the sounds of Strauss ... Aiden now asks if she is sure and she smiles up at him ... Paul asks John whether partner Steve would approve of him joining their agency. John is sure but will check. He now wonders how Brady and Theresa will react to his resignation. Brady arrives with Tate, still feeling furious from Victor's words. Paul tells him his P.I. news. Brady snaps like hell! Chase is sorry and suggests he try for a transfer. Ciara says that is not necessary and announces she will never let him take anything from her ever again. He sadly agrees. She hopes he gets better ... Justin senses Roman and Rafe are a tad too certain that Monahan did not commit the crime ... Aiden promises to be a gentleman and reminds Hope they have a 2 bedroom suite. He suggests a swim in the pool and openly admires her beauty. He plays the part of her prince charming to perfection ... Chase has high praise for Ciara and knows she will be great at helping others. She leaves with a smile, feeling empowered ... Hope suggests a walk. Aiden says anything and adds she takes his breath away. He used to dream of kissing her again. She makes him close his eyes and kisses his lips ... Back in Salem, Roman and Rafe reason Monahan wants a deal or already made one with Andre cos Stefano could not have been killed by someone low level like him. Rafe intends to find a connection between Andre and someone on the outside. Andre is led in and lets out a giggle ... Brady exclaims they have a big launch coming up! John suggests he blame him and Brady takes a fit about family letting him down. John thinks he is overreacting. Brady sighs and agrees Paul should follow his career path. He admits his anger is really for Victor. In fact, he came over to discuss with his dad Victor trashing Theresa. John sighs he is sorry but he might just side with him ... Justin has found a link between Monahan and the demolition company. He owns it, which would make him look even more guilty. Therefore, kick Andre loose already! Rafe enters the interrogation room to see Andre alone and seethes he knows what he did. Andre cackles he knows what HE did with Hope but alas nothing will bring fatha back. He purrs he plans to move forward just as Hope is moving forward with Aiden. Rafe lets him know he will be watching him. Andre quotes Shakespeare and suggests Rafe look it up. In fact, it is a quote from Richard III as the ultimate Machiavellian. Now the Machiavellian DiMera is free to go, much to his dastardly delight ... Hope wants a swim in the lake with Aiden and goes to change. Aiden sees her phone has a message from Rafe. He frowns with fury ... CONCLUSION: John and Paul happily hug. Pop will be in touch. Paul smiles and departs. John turns his attention back to Brady, who wants to know what he really thinks. John advises him not to expect miracles from Theresa despite her best intentions. The tragic truth is that some people simply cannot change. Once trouble always trouble ... Andre silently sneaks into DiMera mansion, now a free man. He sits at Stefano's chess set while making smug little sounds and slips on the phoenix ring. IT'S GOOD TO BE BACK he coos to himself ... Roman reminds Rafe that Hope is damn good at taking care of herself. But Romeo Rafe the promised protector is worried as hell ... Aiden hastily hides her phone in his own bag. Hope emerges and notes he is not in a swimsuit when he calls her breathless. He nervously takes his whole bag in the other room to change. Hope looks through her own things. She exclaims she cannot find her phone and assumes it fell out in the car. She wants to hear her messages. He comes out and smoothly states they can check the car on their way back from the lake. There is no hurry. Hope says riiiiight She now leaves with him and he smiles smugly. Aiden assumes he has the upper hand with our heroine but he is assuming too much ... THE END!
