He teases her about the dream she was enjoying and she fibs it was about him. He kisses her hand and hopes she is as happy as him, though they did not make love last night ... Besides, she returned to Salem first. She alludes to distractions and they kiss. Elvis suspiciously asks why she does not wish to stay with her loved ones ... Lucas gets a cup of coffee and a reminder he is family from Roman, who suggests he, Lucas, Allie and Sami have dinner. Lucas sighs Sami left Salem. Roman doubts it ... John would rather not overanalyze the closeness between Sami and Lucas. EJ has just emerged with horrified Sami and asks John what he means. What is between Sami and Lucas ... - Chad covers and agrees with Gabi that Kate is a strong woman. He suggests she worry about the state of her relationship with Jake. Gabi gets testy and tells him to focus on his own train wreck relationship instead of hers. She clicks away ... Jake arrives and apologizes to Kate for being a little late. She asks about Gabi’s reaction to her forgiving him and acts like she assumes she and Jake will be living together. She reaches for his hand, her bare forearm covered with the tattoo of a tiger and purrs it will be awkward for Gabi to see them together ... Gabi flashes back to Jake catching her and Kate together and suddenly feels insecure in his room ... John heartily shakes EJ’s hand. Marlena smoothly changes the subject to Allie getting such wonderful support from Sami and Lucas. She and John agree it will be good for Allie to have both parents around. EJ alludes to Sami not really wanting to stay in Salem. Marlena is surprised. Ruthless EJ reasons there is much to do at DiMera, which needs him now more than ever, and alludes to war. He must move back to the mansion ... - Roman reasons Sami did not say goodbye. Lucas bitterly believes she is happy to be back together with EJ. Roman senses he is bitter and asks whether they had a fight. Lucas fumes EJ snapped his fingers, and she came running. Roman reasons he is her husband. Lucas decides to get his belongings from the DiMera mansion and goes on his grumbly way ... EJ greets Chad, with Samantha at his side, and the brothers heartily hug. Chad heard he was back from Tony. Sami smiles she will get Harold to help them get settled but Chad warns the house is full. Sami smirks ... Chad sighs to EJ that Stefan left Gabi the mansion so she will need to approve their presence. EJ heard about Stefan going after Abigail and is angry Chad abdicated to Stefan’s lowlife twin. allowing him ruin their legacy! He has spoken to Tony ... Jake helps Kate into the bedroom, and she wonders why Gabi is there. Stunned Gabi stands up from the bed and notes she said she cannot see. Kate quips she caught the scent of her cheap perfume. Jake wants her to stop. Kate wants to know why Gabi is in Jakes’s room. Gabi fibs Harold made a mistake with the laundry, and she was looking for her missing dresses. Kate explains Jake told her he was only with Gabi one time so she forgave him, which means he and Gabi will never be getting back together ... Chad snaps he had to step aside since Shin was planning to remove him. He also had to focus on his marriage. EJ heard Abigail had left for a while and suggests Chad help him with his DiMera coup to reclaim the empire. He promises he will help put Chad back in charge. Tony arrives with Anna and delights in the delicious downfall chatter ... - Roman has menus for John and Marlena as well as a complaint that Sami left town. He is happy to hear she and EJ remained but John bears bad news. Elvis is back in the DiMera sphere. Roman wonders how he and Sami are getting along. Marlena admits they were apart a while, but John stops her from revealing more. Roman hopes Lucas and Sami will resolve their mysterious issues ... Sami is stunned to run into Lucas at DiMera mansion. Lucas wants to believe she is not with EJ as they are over and gazes at her ...Gabi humors Kate, paws at Jake, and prances out. Kate loves being aloooooone with Jake and starts to seduce him ... Tony and Anna join the family meeting. Tony agrees with EJ that fatha would want the three of them in charge. Anna begs Tony not to go back to his DiMera ways. Tony agrees and heads to the garden with his dahling. Chad tells EJ he will think it over. EJ warns they will need to oust Jake fast ... Roman updates John and Marlena on Lucas moving into a room above the pub. He said Sami was with EJ again and sounded extremely agitated ... Sami confirms she is staying but only cos EJ wants to.
