He soap stares at her proposition, then refuses. She sits on the bed and assures him he will win if he feels nothing. Then she will go away for good ... At the square phone Eve has a proposition for a certain someone ... Tripp is torn at the loft, scared for Ciara wishing she would call ... Lani is on the phone with Eli at the pub. It is about the baby shower. She ends the call and JJ approaches asking if she and Eli are actually a couple cos it sound like it ... Tripp wants to go search for Ciara, much to Claire’s dismay ... At the station Eli has a money laundering lead for Hope, who orders him to find her daughter no other cases effective immediately ... At the cabin Ben is tending to Ciara as she gasps to get a doctor. He apologizes as he cannot return to town. It would be too risky so he has to handle this situation himself. Ciara looks petrified ... Lani denies she and Eli are a couple and invites JJ to join her for chowder. They sit and he asks how things are. Crazy chaotic but she is looking forward to motherhood. Pause. She is sorry. JJ knows she will be a wonderful mom. She asks him about his new apartment. It is small and his houseguest got him to leave for a while. She asks for a name so he tells her Theresa. Lani looks worried ... Brady calls the deal a pathetic attempt. Theresa gasps she wants her family back and begs him to give her a chance. She gets closer and he shakes his head ... Ben knows no one would ever pick him up and he would have to hitch a ride to town so he would get nowhere. Ciara begs. He starts to remove his belt and she begs him not to ... Commissioner Hope updates Eli on the Ciara situation and steps away for a call. Eli questions her decision to make them drop everything to Rafe, who reminds him how it feels to be a parent. Eli gets it ... Tripp comes back and shows Claire a poster for a missing person. He wants to do the same for Ciara. Claire gets upset about all their petty bad blood. She will never forgive herself if something bad happens to her and then realizes Tripp already said the same. He feels they should work to find her as Hope is doing. Claire agrees and sits at her computer ... Ciara cries and struggles and pleads with Ben. He implores her to look at him and swears he is no longer the necktie killer. He wants only to help by setting her leg. They need to avoid a situation where it ends up an amputation cos it is a compound fracture. He asks her to trust in him. Easier said than done. He reminds her she could risk losing her leg without his help ... Lani has her chowder and asks coffee drinking JJ about Theresa. He just wanted to help her out. Lani worries she will hurt him. JJ sighs she could not hurt him more than Lani already did ... Theresa tries to seduce Brady, who decides they are done. She repeats their vows until death do us part. He was in a hurry to marry her back then. He remembers and he also remembers how she betrayed him. She begs him to make love like the old days. She believes they belong together ... At the station Rafe sticks up for Hope wanting to find Ciara. Eli calls him a protective dad. Hope overhears the exchange. Eli has a few calls to make before starting and steps away. Hope softly thanks Rafe for his support. He drawls he also has an idea on how to bring her girl home ... Ciara is rattled about having to trust Ben. She fears he could snap and lunge for her. He realizes his word is worth nothing and gets a long knife out of his bag, adding she has every reason to be afraid. She freezes in the bed ... JJ regrets his words but Lani thinks she deserved that. She asks if he can ever forgive her. JJ admits he told Hope he did forgive her for being with Eli but saying she was the baby’s father was too hard ... Lani laments this baby will remind them the rest of their lives ... Brady steps back. Theresa plays the this is best for Tate card. She thinks Eve only helped him and urges him to make love. If he feels nothing then she will withdraw. She kisses his lips ... Hope calls Claire for Ciara’s possible cell password as Rafe and Eli await. The first suggestion does not succeed so Hope gets another one. Still no luck. Claire feels awful. Tripp feels terrible too. If only he had known what happened to her in the past ... Ciara cries. Ben hands her his knife for protection and tells her to stab him if he makes a wrong move. She now lets him set the leg. He takes a closer look and she winces in pain. He informs her he has to rip the pant leg and hands her a rag to bite on. He must set the bone in place which will hurt. Ciara nods and he counts to three. Then he pushes down on her bone and she howls ... Rafe tells Eli to contact his guy at the FBI to crack the code. He tells Hope her daughter could have been headed up to Green Mountain. As a mother she senses something bad has happened ... Ben praises Ciara for her courage and sets the leg. He heard her talking when she was in pain. She can see he knows what he is doing. He recalls how Clyde once broke his mama’s arm and then put it together with tinker toys. She tightens her hold on the knife and acts sympathetic. He teases she will be dancing soon. She thinks she is no dancer. Ben now wonders what led her to cash her motorbike and she remembers catching Claire with Tripp ... Claire tells Tripp how Chase the stepbrother changed toward Ciara, who trusted him in spite of what happened with Aiden. Tripp hates that he took advantage of Ciara’s sympathy. Claire cries then one day he ... and she said no but he would not listen ... Brady pulls away from Theresa and opens the door to Eve who asks what she interrupted. Theresa claims they were about to make love so Brady updates her on the real offer. Eve smiles they do not even need Bella now. Theresa disagrees. Eve states they are partnering with Stefan and Gabi Chic. Theresa threatens to have Victor’s attorneys go after them. Brady is not surprised to see this side of her and escorts Eve out. Theresa makes a declaration of war ... JJ might be able to forgive Lani but the baby would involve Eli in the decisions and he wonders whether he could handle it ... Eli gets past the first security wall and now Hope answers Ciara’s security questions. The last one is the teacher who gave her a failing grade. Hope has no idea ... Claire tells Tripp that she and Theo tied up Chase so Ciara could exact her revenge but she was not vengeful and called Hope. Chase got arrested and is now in a mental facility. Tripp hates that the monster hurt her and blames himself for now letting her down ... Ciara will only say she crashed. Ben respects her wish for privacy and tapes her leg. She loosens her hold on the knife and gets more relaxed ... JJ is at a loss. Lani understands and then gets a cramp. And another and another! He thinks she might be in labor ... Brady walks with his beautiful Eve at the square and praises her brilliant deal. She is the only woman he wants. She holds her rose and he kisses her ... Theresa paces and curses Eve. Then she gets another idea, this time about payback ... Claire has posted the flyers of missing Ciara on the web. Tripp wants copies to put up. He sadly stares at Ciara’s smiling photo ... Hope remembers that Ciara missed P.E. class and got an F. Eli gets in and finds her phone location ... Dr. Ben is finished and asks how Ciara feels. Like her leg is broken but she thanks him. He offers her fluid from his thermos and decides to depart for Salem. But Ciara surprises him by asking him not to leave. Oooooooooo STAY TUNED! |
