Paige pouts by the park and says yes, then no, then yes to listening to JJ. She is bitter he bedded her mother, must have compared them, and lied to her time and time again ... Eve appears at Jen's office and accuses her of ruining her daughter's life with her blackmail that blew up in everyone's face. Jen hisses at her adversary that she has only her sorry self to blame for her own actions ... Paul has a daytime dream that he is clad in a towel when Sonny arrives at his room. Sonny loves only him and they lock lips. Paul wakes up with a start, fully clothed. So much for Sonny being there. He sighs he could use some fresh air and heads out to make himself useful ... Sonny is at the apartment, exasperated he was unable to reach Will for their session. Phone Will is seated at the pub and states he is sorry, he has a meeting with editor Zoe. He can come later. Phone Sonny snaps too late, he had to reschedule for the day after tomorrow. They would also have needed to be at the counselor's office early enough to fill out the paperwork ... Theresa alludes to blackmailing Mel into moving away. Madame Milbauer fears her flunky may have miscalculated ... Chez Mel, Brady refuses to accept it when Mel announces she flies off to Europa in a few hours. She cries it is best for everyone. If she stayed, Theresa would either take her baby far away from Brady or she would use him as a weapon to punish him. The thought of it breaks her heart. But the thought of losing the woman he loves breaks Brady's heart ... Will goes home to Sonny, who gets sarcastic. Will wants to try an online exercise before any counseling. This question concerns honesty. Sonny scoffs ... JJ tells Paige the self-pitying tale of how he lied to her because he never really changed, he just felt like he had by being with a girl like her. But he loves her and cannot live without her ... Eve calls Jen EVIL ... Theresa ignores Anne's warnings and signs her hospital release, ready to go home to shower and then return to pick up Tate when he is ready. The baby is having a checkup ... Brady hangs onto Mel's hand for dear life and returns her tormented gaze ... Marlena is pleased as punch to run into Paul at the hospital and has high praise for the former sports star when he states he came by to donate his rare blood type. She praises him for saving Sonny and proceeds to give him a pep talk about fate and family. Paul suspects this is about Sonny. Marlena smiles she was thinking of John, how a greater power brought them together in Salem. Paul refuses to lie to himself about who he loves the way John and Marlena once did. Marlena reminds him in the end it all worked out the way it was meant to and HE was born. She gracefully goes and Paul gets to thinking ... Jen exclaims Eve is the evil one and leave JJ alone! Eve snaps and shatters his framed photograph, screaming her son is a liar ... Brady refuses to let Mel go. She cries she cannot come between him and Tate, who needs Brady more than she does. She steps out on a mysterious errand, assuring shocked Brady she will be back shortly ... Mel falls apart outside the door and braces herself for battle ...Sonny finds it almost laughable that Will wants to try the honesty exercise ... Maggie arrives at the apartment seeking Mel. She finds disheartened Brady instead and does the math ... Theresa is less than thrilled to come face to face with Mel at her door, until Mel announces she is leaving Salem. Then she smiles a triumphant smile and graciously lets her in while not so graciously gloating ... JJ reminds his dream girl that things only went south when her mother came to town ... The situation between Eve and Jen escalates when Eve realizes Jen has seen her daughter and Jen declares Paige is better off without her. Eve loses control and lunges, grabbing at Jen like a lunatic. Eric hears the commotion and comes running ... Sonny agrees to play along. He gets to ask the first honesty question. Whatever happened to his old Taylor Swift shirt? Will teases his tossed it out cos he had too. The mood is light until ... Sonny asks the real reason Will missed their marriage counseling session. Will comes clean. He confesses he was worried Sonny would find even more reasons to leave him. Sonny solemnly assures him he has no intention of leaving ... Mel tells Theresa that Tate should not be used as a weapon. Theresa taunts her about the wonderful life she will have with Brady and baby. Mel doubts it cos Brady will hate her forever for what she has done ... JJ loves Paige and would still do anything to hang onto her ... Maggie makes Brady realize he has to let Mel go to do right by Tate ... Theresa kicks her enemy out and giggles about getting everything she wanted ... Will agrees to attend the session they have scheduled. BUT first he wishes to pose a pointed question of his own. Sonny has yet to answer the question of whether he still loves Paul soooo does he? Sonny's dark eyes flicker ... At the hospital, Paul asks Anne where new mom Theresa is, as he was hoping to smooth things over. Anne gushes she is gone but look the baby is back! He outstretches his tiny arms behind the window. Paul smiles and emotionally introduces himself to Tate as his uncle ... Mel is back at the apartment and embraces Maggie, who leaves to fetch Dan and Parker for the final farewell. Mel is going back to mama Carly in Europe. It does not sound like she believes she will ever be able to return. Brady understands, though he hates it. He also HATES Theresa for what she has done. Mel woefully wonders whether he hates her too. Brady gives her a sympathetic stare ... Paige gets snarky about JJ playing the saint and tells JJ the fallen where he can go. He laments he is already in hell. She glowers good and goes on her angry way ...Eric the curious gets rid of the attacker. Jen would rather not discuss Eve. Eric lets her know he is but a phone call away. He fears someone who acts like Eve could do something DANGEROUS. Jen wipes the broken glass from JJ's picture and starts to worry as well ... Eve is alone at the park leaving another desperate message for the daughter who has denounced her. She decides Jen and JJ will NOT get away with it and marches off for WAR ... THE END! Ahead on Days: Mel's last day. Eric gets proof Serena deceived him. Will and Sonny fight! (with words) |
