BASED ON DAYSCAFE NOON TWEETS Kayla and Steve rally at Joey's bedside at the Salem hospital. He says he is fine. The lad admits he will miss living on the lam. Of course he is grateful he gets to go home tomorrow and is sorry for all the stress he gave his parents. However, he and his dad were a great team! Steve is at a loss for words. Kayla is horrified ... Victor catches up with Maggie at their humbler home and acts as sorry as he ever will for making her unhappy ... Meanwhile Summer is alone in her hotel room with the one hundred thousand dollars as well as pictures of her sitting with a male friend at the park. Knock knock! ... Brady joins Theresa after a meeting and drinks lemonade at the square. She tends to Tate and he asks about her argument with Victor. Theresa stops smiling and gets candid. She confesses she closed her eyes and fell asleep while watching Tate. Brady soap stares ... Summer opens her door a little to Dario and reminds him they were scheduled to meet at the club. She will see him there soon and does not let him in. She hides her bag of cash under the bed, hides the pictures in her handbag and slinks out ... Brady is bothered about Tate's mama falling asleep while watching him. Theresa snaps it was only for a second! Brady sips his beverage again as she exclaims she would give her life for Tate! She adds she is aware she was wrong and Victor was kind of right, except about her being unfit. Brady notes she should have known better than to take Tate out while tired. She wanted to spend time with him and talks family time. She promises there will be no repeat of this and hopes he is not mad at her. Brady sighs he could not possibly be mad at her after what Summer has done. He admits his judgment was way off and sighs Summer the con artist has used him since the moment they met. This is initially music to Theresa's ears ... Maggie shares she is so sad that Summer is now like a stranger. Victor is sorry. She sighs she sent her messages and got no answer. She wants to forgive her. Victor wants her to forget about the parasite they would be better off without. He is not exactly sensitive to Maggie's heartbreak ... At the club Summer updates Dario about all the cash she got and what the note asked her to do. They also had her followed. She shows him the pictures, some of which he is in with her. He gasps they could know about Clark as well ... Theresa is still smarting that Brady sided with Summer so many times. Brady complains but it did backfire. Theresa hisses she wants to find Summer to tell her off ... Steve says his son should leave the Mission Impossible stuff to him. Kayla reminds him he is facing charges. Joey knows and is gonna call Jade, so they step out and afford him his privacy. At the nurse's station, Steve drawls he is here for sweetness but she blows him off to find Fynn and talk work. Steve smoothly suggests he come home with her. She replies she is not ready and his face falls. Kayla has become distant again ...Victor wants them to forget Summer was born. Maggie feels to blame as she abandoned her. Victor believes there is no blame game for Maggie was too young when she had her. Maggie emotionally explains but they bonded. She feels partly responsible for Summer's suffering. Victor wonders what he can do to make her feel better. The redhead replies without hesitation. FIND HER! Dario advises Summer to refuse the offer cos she could spend years in the slammer if she ... She suggests taking off with the money together. T'would be their best con ever ... Brady stops temperamental Theresa from storming off to confront Summer. He suspects she will not stay in Salem much longer. He laments she only knows how to lie and manipulate like the women from his past - Nicole and Kristen and ... Theresa says and her?! He declares she was different when they hooked up as was he, hence his bad pattern. Now, however, they are changed. They changed together. He loves her but she gets insecure about Victor coming between them. He insists he will handle him and she laughs nervously ... Kayla admits she has concerns about Steve's recklessness. Steve sighs he hopes this is not an excuse to not be with him. She sadly states she needs to know it is right for her and their family for them to be together. Now Joey seems to have gone on his own similar path, plus he murdered someone. How to overcome? She concludes she needs time. Steve tenderly touches her face. He tells her she is his one and only and nothing can change that. She woefully watches him walk away ... Steve is soon alone at the office and takes a deep breath. Sad blues sounds play in the background. The tough guy tries to fight back the tears ... Victor notes there is no point in trying to track her cos Summer must be long gone by now. Maggie tries to call her one last time ... Summer has just left a message for her contact that she will consider the offer. Much to Dario's dismay, Summer refuses to accept the call from Maggie. He feels she should fix things with the wealthy mother. That would be her best bet. She laments it is too late. He offers to walk her back to her room ... Still at the square, Brady and Theresa are happily holding dinner menus. Dario and Summer start to walk by. Brady stops Theresa from standing up and letting her have it. He drawls he knows Dario was in on Summer's schemes and she lied about them being lovers. Summer tells him she was truthful about that one thing. Pause. Theresa suspiciously asks what! Summer will only say she wants the best for Brady. She urges Theresa to take good care of him as well as their son and slinks away with Dario ... Brady has a bad feeling. Theresa demands to know what he has not told her ... Maggie now believes Summer is gone. An unexpected visitor is at the door. Dr Fynn has been summoned, by Victor who was worried. The redhead reasons she is fine. But before her checkup she asks him about Summer, what he knew about her when he was in Malibu. He recalls she was really troubled but Daniel saw a reason to save her. Victor scoffs about the misguided medicine man ... Theresa takes a fit when Brady tells her Summer said she loved him. Does he return the sentiment?! ... Joey is with Kayla in his room, unhappy that Jade is not taking his calls. He wishes his mom liked her and wants to speak to Steve. He gets upset she did not let Steve come home with her and suggests she think with her heart more than her head. In his view Steve and Jade are both deserving of a second chance. Kayla quietly considers her son's words of wisdom ... Fynn has checked Maggie out and gives her a clean bill of health. However, no pushing hard or pressure. Victor now hopes she is considering the cruise. He assures her he can afford it. She weeps perhaps they should get away to parts unknown after all and he kisses her on the head ... Crying Jade comes into Joey's room. Her dad kicked her out! She melts down in his arms and he is sorry She has nowhere to goooooooooo ... Brady harbors has no feelings for Summer. Theresa is miffed the ho was after her man. Brady wants them to have dinner. Alas she has lost her appetite. He steps away for some takeout. Theresa now spies Aunt Kayla and asks about Joey. He will be fine. Theresa cannot imagine having a child injured. Kayla is proud of the person and the mom Theresa has become. Theresa appreciates she has had a second chance in spite of mean Victor ... CONCLUSION: Joey announces he will take care of Jade. She fears his mom will not want her around but he loves her. She loves him too and they kiss and cuddle ... Steve is drinking alone at his desk. Knock knock! Sweetness calling! He cleans up and comes to the door. She stammers he forgot his harmonica and hands it over. He muses he has many so she did not need to come. She woefully states she wanted to tell him she does love him. It seems she cannot live with him and she cannot live without him. She looks up at him with doe eyes ... Dario admires all the money Summer has back in her room. She suggests they run with it. He thinks it would be too dangerous to cross the one who sent it to her. Summer sincerely hopes Theresa took her veiled warning seriously. This unnamed person is certainly willing to pay big sums of money to steal her and Brady's baby ... BOOM! THE END Ahead on Days of Our Lives Phillip finds out Deimos is back in Salem. Kate gets an evil eyeful ... Nicole cannot help obsessing ... |
