There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... - Kristen has craftily answered the cell phone belonging to Dr. Dan the medicine man. She gets a haunted look in her eye when Brady demands to know who is there. Dan remains all tied up in his hotel room. - Kate has a clandestine club meeting with waiting Victor and purrs she would just love a drink like his. He grumbles he should toss it at her. Kate pouts. - Jen is at the hospital desperately seeking Kayla, who happens to be at the pub, being threatened by Sami to fire Abigail or else! Sami is holding the funding for the children’s hospital wing hostage. Kayla is disgusted. Sami is not interested and makes her choose - fire Abigail or no donation! - At the park, petulant ponytail Abigail gasps she has nothing to say to EJ. He, however, feels it is very impotant to go over wot happened - with themselves and each other. Wot they did was not as awful as she seems to believe. Abigail believes it was wrong! EJ agrees they lacked judgment and it was not moralistic, though they were connected about art and her fatha’s book. At the time, Samantha was crazy mad and had kicked him out of their bed. He regrets that the girl who caught his interest now goes around town glumly. Pause. Abigail assumes he wants them to get back to … the way they were ... - At the monastery, Eric the tormented insists to Tim that he feels NO love for Nicole! He cannot after what she did. He stands up and cries he is confused. Tim points out that Eric too played a part and did tell her he loved her. Eric reminds him she used that love as an excuse to betray him! The monk muses yet he still wants her. Eric emotionally exclaims yes! He seeks redemption. Tim notes he and Nicole will face Cardinal Felipe in Rome together … Eric gasps he has to depend on her in this drama and harbors doubts. Tim tells him to take the chance. Eric suddenly gasps NO. - Nicole runs into Maggie at the square. Both women have bought Brady his favorite mocha walnut. Nicole gets herself all worked up about the redhead assuming she is bad news for Brady but Maggie says no such thing. - Brady tells the person at the other end to speak. Dan starts to howl HAAAAAAA. The goon punches him on Kristen’s order. Brady has been cut off and blinks in bewilderment. Dan gasps Kristen just made a major mistake. Brady considers calling again. Dan taunts Kristen for making Brady persist as he knows he will. Ring ring! Dan laughs in spite of his situation. Kristen realizes it is indeed Brady and texts as Dan, who is busy in a meeting and merely picked up accidentally. So she writes. Dan soap stares. Back at the house of Kiriakis, Brady receives the message and is satisfied. Back in the hotel room from hell, Kristen is smug when Brady thanks his friend in a text. She purrs they are pals. It will help her cause. Dan bellows she will get NOTHING from him on Brady. The DiMera diva in black poses on the bed and muses there is much work to be done. She is in no hurry! - At the pub, Kayla suggests Sami not be so vindictive. Sami repeats her two options, cool as a cucumber. Either Abigail is eternally banned from the hospital or another hospital gets the money and Madame Milbauer of HR infamy gets to deal with her! - Maggie and Nicole show up at the house of Kiriakis together with Brady’s favorite mocha walnut. He appreciates the gesture. Maggie is sorry there has been no change in John. Brady stammers he has been trying to find someone to help out at Titan while his father is … His voice trails off in torment and he takes the treats to the freezer. Nicole suspects the time has come for her to go lest she overstay her welcome. - Kate toasts to herself and thanks Victor for playing along without even realizing it. He toasts to the duplicitous bitch. She coos she is grateful and will now show him … - EJ stammers he does not seek a return to the way they were. However, they were not simply two strangers in the night. He praises the glum girl for her beauty and integrity and insists her hurt will pass. Abigail wonders whether he still wants to move on with Sami. He does indeed and will not give up hope. She suddenly whispers she must go, then turns back to tell him … thank you. He smiles ever so slightly. - Sami sips her coffee as she awaits an answer. Yes or No. Kayla wishes to give the girl a chance to resign. Sami sweetly agrees, provided she admit her guilt in a letter and state she should not qualify to work at the honorable hospital ever again. Kayla calls Sami a true DiMera. Sami takes it all in stride and is all about business as she requests a copy of said letter. She now thanks Aunt Kayla, who denounces her as her niece and storms out, only to find herself face to face with ponytail Jen! Jen is aghast she already knows! They discuss outside the pub. Kayla sighs she is supposed to fire Abigail. Feisty Jen wants to confront Sami the great and powerful but Kayla advises against it. Jen gasps fine and humors Kayla until she goes on her way. Then she bursts into the peaceful pub and calls Sami a MONSTER! - Mysterious music plays at the clandestine club table where Kate and Victor sit with their respective martinis. The Greek concedes she has done a great deal of work, she has. Kate whips out those papers they discussed. Now all he needs to do is sign on the dotted line, wire the funds to the DiMera account, and it will become a fait accompli! The Greek grins Stefano will have a fit. He eagerly asks for a pen. Kate obliges. - At the Kiriakis mansion, Nicole dares demure Maggie to trash her like the whole town. The redhead reasons she appreciates her being here as a friend to Brady. He needs that now. Therefore, she is welcome here at the house of Kiriakis. Nicole thanks her for the sentiment. Maggie warns her not to mess up this time. Nicole nervously notes she always does ... - Tim talks of the intoxicating power Nicole has over Eric. The fallen father confesses he cannot bear to be near her. But he must, to explain himself to the Church. Alas the doctor cannot be there so Nicole is his last hope. Brother Tim adds unless he thinks Kristen might miraculously appear ... - Dan is dismayed that Kristen is texting up a storm to his colleagues, to explain his sudden absence. She even texted mama Maggie and sounded believable, having read their earlier exchanged messages. She now decides she must text Jen too for that is what Dan her lover man would do ... Dan declares Jen is expecting his call ... Kristen will only send a text. She has no idea they broke up and Dan peers as she decides what warm and fuzzy message to write. - Abigail has been summoned to the office of the chief of staff. Kayla states she spoke with Sami … Pause. The girl in the ponytail glumly gets it. Kayla admits nothing was left to her imagination. Abi is sorry and ashamed. Kayla reminds her EJ is also to blame. Abigail is anxious to move forward but Kayla sighs it is not so simple. Sami is out for her blood ... - Sami stands up and snaps the fake friend slut mistress was a monster too, as was EJ, who will also pay! Jen is unable to get her to withdraw. Sami taunts how fast she fell into bed herself with Dr. Dan, when Jack’s grave was still warm. She sarcastically suggests she send Abigail on a job search at a suitable escort service and waltzes out. But Jen has the last word. Nothing will change how she feels about her daughter Abigail but can Sami say the same thing about her mama Marlena? Sami has no answer and exits. - Kate waltzes over to EJ at the club and hisses to stop harassing board members behind her back. He haughtily replies he received a concerned call. Kate insists she and Sami do not need his interference. EJ talks down to the cosmetics queen and wonders why she and Samantha would even want to tackle such tough serious work. He hopes to somehow have a company left to return to after 6 months. Kate rages and reminds him that he and Stefano are simply spectators. He questions why. Because Stefano tried to hurt Rafe and he hurt Sami! - Nicole gives Brady a pep talk about picking up the pieces. He sits on the sofa and sighs it will not help his comatose father. Nicole believes in him and is sure John will wake up and enlighten him. Besides, one must not dwell on the past ... - Dan decides Kristen should not text Jen. Kristen decides to check his previous texts to her. Dan snaps to send what she already wrote! Kristen suddenly realizes there were no texts and they therefore broke up. Dan lies she was waiting for his call but Kristen is no fool. Why the breakup? He yells to go to hell. Kristen advises him to change his attitude so his kids can get to see him again ... - Nicole is at the park, explaining on her phone she has her itinerary and an up to date passport. She will be there for certain! She flashes back to her last run-in with Eric and sighs he was as cold as ice. - Eric exclaims Kristen is evil! He has faith that God will not allow her to wreak havoc again. - Dan thunders at captor Kristen to leave his kids aloooooone! She snaps she did not threaten a child, nor would she ever. She sighs. Dan recalls how she too longed for a child. How ironic that such a devious woman displayed deep compassion for kids, kindness for a close friend like Jennifer, but then she attacked Eric … Kristen snaps to stop. This is only about Brady! - Abigail is handed the morality clause to read - and weep. She realizes Sami has set out to get her fired! - Eric realizes he has no potion doctor or Kristen at his disposal, which makes Nicole his last hope. He has been praying for the strength to fight the temptation of the flesh. He seeks a sign from God. Brother Tim tells him the time of the sign will come ... - Upon learning that she would have to endure a firing by the likes of Anne Milbauer, Abigail agrees to resign. Kayla sadly states that she is supposed to confess to what she did in the letter. Abigail cries she will do it … after she takes care of something … - EJ impatiently answers his phone to Victor, who refers to himself as a potential ally. They should rendezvous at the mansion in a few minutes. Click! EJ wonders. - Kristen asks about Dan’s operation on John. He refuses to talk about that. She now wants to know all about Theresa the terrible ... Dan drawls he will not help her win Brady back. She assures him she has no intention of returning to Salem. She only wishes to help Brady from here. Dan is his friend and he can enlighten her. She cares more about Brady than anyone knows ... Brady, meanwhile, walks out of the Kirikais mansion with his phone. - Victor offers EJ a single malt at the Kiriakis mansion. EJ arrogantly asks why he is even here. The gleeful Greek hands him his drink, and wants to make a deal. EJ acts disinterested, quips not to call again, and turns to depart. Victor gushes he would want to hear this! EJ stops and cocks his head, slightly interested. - Ponytail Jen is unable to reach ponytail Abigail on her phone. Where oh where could she be? Abigail is standing at Sami’s door! Sami leers lover boy is not home. Abigail will not be dismissed and walks in, giving her adversary an angry look. She came not for EJ but for HER. Sami smiles sweetly, though her eyes dare the other woman to bring it on ... - Tim tells soul searching Eric the answer he gets might not be the one he was counting on and leaves him alone to consider. The fallen father frets. - Brady is on a business call at the square regarding a Basic Black meeting John cannot attend. He now flashes back to strolling through the square with Kristen when she gushed about getting matching wedding bands. Nicole appears and he admits he was taking a walk down memory lane - it concerned Kristen! Brady has a strange feeling. - Dan doubts he is tied up to talk about Brady. He suspects Kristen is after a face to face meeting with Brady. He happens to be the bait! Kristen cackles he got her. And make no mistake, she will see Brady when he brings him to her!
