There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... - Nicole is fast asleep in her comfy big bed. Eric tenderly touches her face and she wistfully wonders what his holy shirtlessness is doing there. He loooooves and forgives her and they kiss with ardor. Then the alarm cruelly buzzes on her phone and she wakes up with a groan, all by her lonesome in that big gray bed ... - Jen is clad in black and white when she opens her door to devil with the blues dress Eve, who wants to talk the book. Jen loses it and slams the door in her face! Eve is undeterred and walks in regardless. Jen threatens to call the cops. Eve threatens to have her aggressive daughter Abigail charged for assault and battery. Jen snaps she must have provoked her. They start to scream their usual discord. Eve still wants the book to go to a less reputable, more money minded producer. Jen accuses her of only wanting what works for her. Eve argues she is also thinking of their kids. Furious Jen gets fed up and pushes her out the door, locking it. Eve calls her a beeeech and storms off. Hurricane Jen storms off in the other direction. - Brady remains at his father's hospital bedside waiting and wanting good news. He blames himself. Enter Dr. Dan, woefully wishing he had good news. He promises to find out more about his father’s comatose state and exits in his usual busy manner. Brady gasps how could he do such a thing as John sleeps on. The billionaire heir fears he might have momentarily morphed into a maniac! Outside the room,Theresa the terrible remembers what happened, how she whacked John’s handsome head with the poker. Detective Hope speaks her name, bringing her back to reality. Abraham wonders whether she is alright. Theresa babbles about Brady being with John. Abe asks her to repeat her story. She screams it was no story, it was true. John was after Brady, who defended himself. Abe announces he knows who both sets of fingerprints belonged to on the poker. Theresa gasps in horror. Abe elaborates. One set belonged to Brady. Hope adds the other belonged to Victor. But that print was only partial ... Hope speculates someone wiped the poker! Abe is mighty suspicious. Theresa overreacts and stammers about servants cleaning. Hope feels it was odd. Abe notes the position of the bodies was also odd. Theresa stands by her story. Expert Abe suggests Brady would have needed to be further away from John to swing with such force. Suited attorney Aiden now shows up to represent his new client. Theresa the terrible has hired him! Justin is in Dubai, though he was evidently her first choice. She now wants the new lawyer to protect Brady’s interests and refers to Brady as her husband. Brady emerges in his purple shirt. Hope is aghast Theresa called him her husband. He dramatically declares he needs no lawyer for he is GUILTY. - Lonely girl Nicole is seated at her home computer and calls old pal Dan, who informs her he is busy at the hospital. She hopes to meet for a coffee. Frosty Dan tells her to drink that coffee alone! Knock knock. There stands soulful Eric. Their eyes lock like lovers. - Theresa tells Brady to stop confessing. Aiden suggests he not talk to the police without representation. Brady politely dismisses him. Aiden presses the elevator button. Abe and Hope wish to speak with Brady ... Theresa follows Aiden and is relieved when he assures here he will be nearby as he has other clients here. Theresa now tries to interrupt the conversation between Brady and the two super cops. Brady orders her to the waiting room, then admits he actually has no memory of the incident! Abe tells him Theresa is talking self-defense. Hope asks if Brady disagrees with her claim. Brady gasps he does indeed. In the waiting room, Theresa is shakily spilling coffee and gasping. Eve comes in, as she was supposed to have her own appointment, and wonders what her half sis has done this time ... - Eric breathes does Nicole have a moment? She breathes to come in and closes the door. The tension in the air is thick. He has a favor to ask and it is about sister Sami. Nicole is already aware of her rise to power at DiMera. Eric laments people will say negative things about his twin and hopes she will not inflame the situation with her own colorful comments, given she works in TV. He urges her to demonstrate restraint. He is also painfully aware there is no love lost between Nicole and Samantha Jean. Nicole sits on her tidily made bed and agrees. She gushes but she would do anything for Eric! She notes he is tired and implores him not to go just yet. He pauses. She stands up and gingerly approaches. Tender piano music plays. Eric gasps what? She smiles … why the hurry? He quietly states they are done but she has more to say. She considers this a baby step. Perhaps they will find their way back as ... friends. She complains about frosty Dan refusing to take coffee with her this morning. Eric is not surprised and gives her an accusing stare ... - Hurricane Jen finds attorney Aiden at the town gate and rages the fight is on! She is ready to fight evil Eve, who always does the wrong thing like some other people ... - Theresa gets shrill about her dreadful 24 hours and gasps she is worried about her hubby. Eve is surprised by the news of her quickie wedding to Brady in Vegas. Theresa implores her not to tell papa Shane. Eve cackles she must have given the groom a heart attack on their honeymoon, hence the hospital. Theresa stammers what occurred was entirely an accident. Eve demands to know what she did. Theresa cries to leave her alooooone and shoves her out of the waiting room, screaming she did nothing wrong. That is her story and she is sticking to it! Near the nurse's station, Brady explains he was dead drunk. Abe wonders whether it was self-defense. Hope notes Brady is not wearing his wedding band. Dr. Dan now comes out with news. John is stable, no longer critical,though the coma is deeper than before and he might never come out! Brady’s baby blues are filled with tears of torment. - Eric coldly claims Nicole did not even face the truth, that she lied and deceived them all. She counters with sarcasm and calls herself worthless in their judgmental eyes. - Dr. Dan elaborates on John’s coma. The brain operates like a computer that shuts down to save energy when healing is needed. John is now in his own safe mode but that brain still needs to heal. Grateful Brady understands, He asks the cops if they are finished. Abe assures him he may see his father so Brady goes in, disappearing from view. Dan informs Hope and Abe that the other staff will attend to John for a while as he has had an endlessly long night. He needs grub at the pub and will return later. Maxine does not approve of his endless shift. Overworked Dan goes on his way, unaware that Eve is stalking him! The invisible banshee moans. Hope reads her notes on her computer, then starts to address Abe. But Abraham has stepped away. She finds herself face to face with Aiden and flashes back to their romantic dance. He grins. She smiles slightly. He teases he has been flooded with good feedback about that gala. It was good also for them ... - Theresa nervously toys with her ring, then walks out of the waiting room. She loudly insists to Abe that Brady defended himself. She saw it so she should know! Aiden and Hope’s sweet moment is interrupted by noisy Theresa. Attorney Aiden must insist that all future questioning be conducted in a formal setting with him present. Theresa wants to go see Brady her hubby and thanks attorney Aiden, who lets her know he is always but a phone call away. She goes into John’s room. Hope folds her arms. Inside the Salem patient’s room, Theresa soap stares, remembering hitting John, who is now hooked up and in a deep coma. Brady wants an answer. Did she lie about last night??? Dangerous music plays. - Eve follows Dan all the way to the pub and pretends to be surprised to see him there. The banshee sings Uhuhhhhhhhhhhhh. - Back at the hospital, Hope and Abe regroup. She notes Theresa is nervous. They know the three possibilities. Either she is being honest, lying for Brady, or did the deed herself. Abe notes according to forensics there is nothing to show she is lying, though it is Theresa ... Hope points out if she is lying, she could risk heading back to L.A. and prison. They will have to wait for Brady and John to tell the whole story. Hope sighs one has no memory while their other lies in a deep coma from which he might never return ... - Theresa stands by her story of Brady defending himself and hugs him. Brady the addict decides he could use a meeting. He will attend now as Marlena is coming to see John and he would rather not cross paths. He places his hands on his hips, announcing he is going to have to make some changes. Theresa wants to accompany him to the meeting. Brady gives her a strange look. - Hope approaches Aiden as he sips coffee in the waiting room. She alludes to a conflict of interest between them, give he is acting attorney for Theresa and Brady. Aiden does not seem to be listening to the pretty lady and suggests they write the report on the gala together. He refers to their ideas for the next such event. Hope gasps she can do it on her own. His face falls and he apologizes for assuming. She apologizes and explains it is due to the John Black case. They should not meet privately until the case is done. Aiden gets it. He charmingly offers to do the post gala report on his own. Hope thanks him. Exit Aiden. Hope now flashes back to their slow dance as sexy jazz music plays in her mind. She raises an eyebrow. - Jen has headed to work, where nurse Maxine complains that Dr. Dan is working too hard! He is a lonely man! Jen decides to go see her lonely guy ... - Evil Eve joins Dan at his table and teases he seems tired. He admits it was an all nighter and hard case. The banshee moans. Eve hopes her seedy sister was not involved in that case. Dr. Dan cannot discuss. Eve distances herself from Theresa the terrible and acts exasperated her dad asked her to check on her. Dan is amused by her exasperation. The banshee sings yeaaaaaaaaah. - Eric is unable to forgive and forget. Nicole argues it was only weakness on her part. She feared she would lose him. She accuses him of refusing to give her a break and now demanding this favor. - Brady wants to attend his AA meeting aloooooone. Theresa nervously agrees. He adds they will deal with the matter of their "marriage" later. One thing at a time. With any luck the meeting will get him back on track. He needs to change! Theresa innocently asks about his father’s condition. Brady laments it could be permanent and walks out. Theresa is clearly relieved ... - Back at the pub, Dan stirs his coffee as Eve acts sympathetic about him missing Parker. She remembers once upon a time when Paige put her food on her curly head. She touches Dan’s hair for flirty effect and he laughs Parke wears his food often. She acts enthused and he shows her his Parker pictures. Eve leans in to look. Just then Jen arrives outside and perceives the smiling pair through the window. Needless to say, she is not amused. - Nicole implores Eric to treat her like a person but he bitterly argues she did not treat him like a person, only a prize! She talks love. He scoffs. That was not love! She raises her hand to slap him. He grabs it and gets closer ...She gasps and insults him. Then neither says a word, feeling the power, the pull of their passion ...
