Sami blasts Xander, who is stuck at the station as he insulted Eli. She now wants him to expose Nicole's affair live ... Alas Eric returns to Africa tomorrow. EJ holds himself responsible for the hard years and marvels she stood by him. Belle is happy to hear they are better than ever and brings up the party for Eric. EJ blinks in bewilderment since Samantha made no mention of it ... - Sami complains to Xander that Eric reunited with Nicole. Xander reminds her he cannot go anywhere right now. Sami pushes. He warns Nicole might out her fling with Lucas if she outs hers with him. Sami laughs she has no proof. Xander sighs he will tell Eric tomorrow cos he is handcuffed at the station. Sami decides to take action ... Lucas and Phil inform Roman they were referring to EJ dastardly DiMera. Ro can relate and then reveals the family is having a welcome home party for Eric, so the pub is closed. Brady steps in with smiling Chloe. Phil is peeved. Chloe explains she came for Nicole and suggests Phil stay. Brady doubts he would feel comfortable and calls it a family party. Phil argues he is family in a way cos of the Kate connection and concludes he can stay ... Nicole feels unworthy of Eric, who insists she is the perfect wife. They agree they are both lucky and were meant to be. Now and forever. They kiss in bliss ... Sami has paid Xander’s bail and now instructs him on how she wants him to expose Nicole. He starts to have doubts ... Eric and Nicole dress for their party and he calls her the woman of his dreams. He dips her and declares tis time to celebrate ... Xander would rather talk to Eric in private cos he could get fired for a public humiliation. Sami counters he is getting big cash. EJ now calls and demands dahling explain why he had to hear about brotha’s party from Belle. She lies she was stressed out trying to find an outfit and arranges to meet at the pub. Click. She tries to leave Xander with half the money. He demands it all now or no deal! Sami grudgingly gives in ... John, Marlena and Roman are happy to see one another at the festive party at the landmark pub. Phil and Brady have underlying tension concerning Chloe. Belle arrives with EJ, who taunts Phil is on time. Phil asks him about DiMera and notes he is only co-CEO with Chad. Belle suggests no shop talk. EJ goes for drinks. Phil fumes as Brady laughs and stands closer to Chloe. Belle assures him this is not like their high school reunion. - EJ spies Lucas and smirks he is not family. Lucas talks back and walks away but EJ stops him. He knows he and Samantha have been close lately regarding what happened to Allie but she is betta so there is no reason for him to come near his wife. Lucas lets him know tis Sami’s decision and they have kids. EJ suggests he finds a new life and adds he can give him that so-called smoking gun he mentioned. Sami waltzes in wearing a smoking hot purple dress. EJ kisses her and notes she has on the necklace. She wonders what is wrong with Lucas, who hisses he will not ruin the family party and walks away. Sami is baffled. EJ dismisses him ... Phil glares as Chloe smiles at Brady and takes a few steps toward them. Woman in white Nicole and hunky Eric arrives to cheers. He gets a hearty hug from Roman and John. Marlena marvels happy anniversary. Nicole gushes he is coming back for good after a few more weeks in Africa. Brady embraces Eric and apologizes for missing his wedding. Sami gives her twin a bear hug. Nicole stands by her man and acts happy for EJ and Sami. Chloe takes Nicole off to try the food. Eric informs EJ and Sami he prayed for them. EJ praises dahling for her devotion. Brady stops Phil from going to Chloe so she can enjoy her time with friend Nicole. They butt heads about whose moments with the songbird matter more ... - Woman in white Nicole admits to Chloe she was anxious while Eric was away, but today all that changed. She has never been happier. John gets the gang’s attention and gives Roman the floor. Ro reveals this is the first of many happy anniversary parties for Eric and Nicole. Marlena expresses her pride and joy in Eric’s good work and return. EJ senses Sami is waiting for someone since she has been watching the door, but she denies it and stays away from the other guests. Eric and Nicole are asked to make a speech. She gushes about their deep love and commitment. One year ago today was the happiest day of their life. They exchange a heartfelt I love you and kiss. Eric is happy to be surrounded by friends and family and assures them all he never lost sight of how lucky he was. It took 20 years to conclude he could not live without his wonderful wife. Time to raises their gasses to a toast. Enter cocky Xander, who exclaims while Eric was working hard in Africa, his wife was screwing around! The guests stare in stunned silence.
