There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... - At the hospital, Brady woefully wonders whether he killed his father. Dr. Dan informs Brady he did NOT kill John, who is still critical. Brady is desperate to visit but Dan drawls it is not presently possible. The blunt trauma led to swelling and bleeding in the brain. The clots and pressure were removed but he is not out of the woods yet. However, his vitals are strong, which is a good sign. Theresa feebly asks if John is going to live. Dan sighs it is possible he might not make it. Marlena, who was called by Abe, has overheard and gasps OH MY GOD. What happened? Abe must make a phone call. Marlena deduces Brady was drinking. Brady and Theresa step away. Dan explains to doc that John suffered severe head trauma. Marlena is in a tizzy, aware that the prognosis is dire. In a nearby room, Brady is bewildered by the strange series of unexpected events. Theresa the terrible lies he told her to call John to celebrate their big news. What big news? She holds up her hand. The billionaire heir is horrified they actually got married in Vegas. He now notices his own ring. - Kate peers into the Brady pub window and wonders about Clyde’s creepy family reunion. She is counting on hearing all about it! - Jordan texts Ben from the dark park. He must meet her right away! - Abigail pleasantly asks Ben for a moment at the club. The busy baristo remembers Sami’s revelation, that Abigail slept with her husband! Then he gets the text from Jordan and apologizes as he really must run … - Sami shows up at EJ’s cell. She assumes he wants to grovel and calls him delusional just like Jen. EJ asks WOT about Jen. Sami smugly states she told her the truth about her trampy daughter. EJ stares in disbelief. He had not been expecting Samantha to spread the sordid word ... - Kate catches up with Clyde at the pub and he drinks his drink, drawling he has been busy with business, but does not elaborate. He did not have the time to reach out to his keeeeeeds. He admits he was hesitant. Kate cackles. She asks about his business. He drawls he is no hotshot like her. He has read about her and notes it was not right the way she was kicked out of that company. Kate notes that was then, this is now. She is the co-CEO of DiMera Enterprises - something she expects to appear in the Wall Street Journal any day now. Mr. Clyde is mighty impressed. She wishes him luck with the reunion. He smiles about going to see Tammy Sue once he is done his drink. When Kate elegantly exits, he wickedly wonders just how unhappy Tammy Sue will be to see him ... - Ben joins unhappy Jordan at the park, She gasps she is telling Rafe the whole truth tonight. But what will the detective do now that he is dating a thief and kidnapper! Ben thinks he will understand why she stole and why she got him away from the beast who beat him. - Lucas has come to the club to speak with Abigail and wonders what is the matter with the glum gasping girl. He spoke to her mother and things are not happy in the house of Horton. He wants to help. Abigail is still a nervous wreck about what she has done. Lucas insists there is nothing that could change his opinion of her. She quips not even her affair with EJ DiMera?! Lucas pauses. - Prisoner EJ gets to groveling and implores Samantha to understand he made a mistake for which he is sorry. Sami sneers there was more than one mistake with his hands and that girl. Exasperated EJ exclaims but he ended the affair! Sami gets sarcastic about the shower madness. EJ is still convinced they can overcome. That have before. Sami screams he betrayed them and their children and he lied about Kristen. She tolerated a great deal until he threw away their love for a cheap and tawdry affair with the hot young blonde. She accuses him of only taking out the hit on Nick to silence him about said affair once he blackmailed him. EJ gives her an ominous look. She taunts how he must have told his mistress he had taken care of their problem and suspects he would have continued sleeping with her. He grimaces and she dares him to tell the truth for once. Did he hire the hit man only because Nick knew of his affair with Abigail? EJ gets as close as the bars will allow and leers he did indeed ... - Brady is dismayed to discover he is married. He implores Theresa to enlighten him on the last 24 hours, especially with John. She lies he ordered her to leave them alone so she did but then there was shouting and John was shoving. Brady had a poker. Brady whispers that was when he must have hit him on the head. He turns away in torment. Theresa suggests it was self-defense, not deliberate. Brady removes his ring, promises to take care of that problem next, and walks out, thoughts of John on his mind. Theresa is clearly disappointed that her billionaire heir does not believe in their marriage. - The nurse calls Dan back to his patient stat. Marlena now asks Abe whether John hit his head. Brady appears and announces he was the one who hit him! - Lucas places his hand over his mug and calls EJ a bastard. He does not blame Abigail. He now realizes that was what got Jen so upset. Abigail admits Sami came storming over and words were spoken. She blames herself and is ashamed. Lucas believes only EJ is the one to blame. Abigail laments Sami blames her and she is right. She is a bad person! Lucas agrees her choices have not always been wise, but she is a good person in his book. She fears the other Hortons will not be so forgiving. Uncle Lucas promises to take care of the rest of the family. Abigail is grateful. - Ben recalls how Jordan blamed Clyde for their mother's untimely death and then stepped in to save him from the violence when he was just a boy. She rescued him! He decides he is a man now and should go home to teach Clyde a lesson once and for all. Jordan stops him and wants him to promise her he will never go home to Poplar Bluff as long as Clyde lives and breathes. The man is too dangerous. They embrace and Ben agrees ... - EJ argues he did not want Samantha to hate him and reminds her he kept her out of prison. Besides, the affair was already over by the time Nick the blackmailer made his move. Sami scoffs. He states he was sick at the thought of losing her. Sami still feels like she was played for a fool. He acknowledges he hurt her ... She screeches to shut up cos she is done falling for him and his lies. Those days are OVER! - Marlena cannot believe Brady hit his father. Abe thinks this is not the time or the place but gets called away by a police officer. Brady informs Marlena he hit him with a poker in self-defense while in a drunken stupor. Marlena argues John would never have hurt him! Theresa intervenes and states she saw Brady defend himself. Marlena gasps there was no need for self-defense! What the hell was he thinking! Brady sighs he was not thinking. Distraught Marlena accuses him of almost killing the person who loves him the most in the whole wide world ... - EJ promises he is not lying or spinning now. He cannot imagine how Samantha handled news of his indiscretion. Sami laments he turned out to be the man people warned her about. She was unable to forget the image of him French kissing Abigail. She now lowers her voice with loathing. He is the same man she once tried to keep out of her daughter’s life and the same man she once thought deserved to be shot in the head! EJ’s eyes almost pop out of his head upon mention of the shooting incident ... - Lucas comes across Kate sipping wine at the square. He grumbles about EJ and Abigail’s affair. He is aghast to hear his mother already knew and did not tell him! She claims to have been covering as Sami needed to be spared more suffering. Lucas growls he does not want Ali to suffer. If things between Sami and EJ turn ugly, he is taking daughter Ali out of the equation. Kate assures him she will make sure Ally does not suffer, though she does not reveal how. - Dan now updates Marlena and Brady. John has fallen into a coma, which could be a good thing, as he has stabilized somewhat. He will now allow one visitor at a time. Marlena goes first. Abe takes Theresa aside to start talking and tell him the whole truth. Daniel quietly questions if Brady really knows for a fact that he was the one who hit John. He has serious doubts about that scenario ... - EJ stammers for Samantha to look into her heart. She gets glib and calls the incriminating photos her wakeup call from fool’s paradise. Then she schemed and EJ the great and powerful got sucked in. Now SHE has control over both him and the company! And he ain’t seen nothing yet! - Back at the hospital, Abe warns Theresa that according to forensics, someone MOVED both Brady and John. Theresa flashes back to dragging them both in an attempt to cover up what she had done. She stammers she was checking if John was alive so she did nothing wrong! Dan is called back to ICU. Brady now listens to suspicious Abe asking Theresa for the facts. She stammers she might have moved the guys. Abe points out John might have been blindsided. Theresa tells him it looked like self-defense to her but she did not see the whole scene. A cop wants a word with Abe. Brady now accuses Theresa of LYING! She cringes and lies about that too. Brady suspects he was crazy from the booze and attacked his father. It is all his fault and she has been covering for him! He will need to confess to Victor and Maggie ... He walks away. Theresa notices Dan back at the nurse’s station. She wants to know if John will remember when he wakes up. Dan snaps he speaks to family only. She snaps she is family and Dan catches sight of the ring. What has the girl gone and done now! - Marlena sits at comatose John's side as he sleeps and emotionally admits she could not bear to lose him! No matter what she might have said before, she simply cannot lose him! She holds his hand. - Jordan is all by her lonesome at the town gate when she receives a mysterious text calling her Tammy Sue. She turns as a living breathing Clyde steps out of the shadows. NICE TO SEE YOU AGAIN SWEETHEART! Jordan morphs into terrified Tammy Sue and freezes. - Baristo Ben is back at the club, sorry he had to take off. Abigail starts to stammer her explanation. He thinks there is no need to bring up anything from her past. She nervously sits with him at a table and gasps this is about ... He knows. Her and EJ DiMera! - Glum EJ hangs his head in his cell but finds out he has a new visitor. Familiar footsteps are heard … - Sami gets home to the mansion and puts down her briefcase with a sigh Then she kicks off her heels and thanks Harold for the waiting martinis. Kate appears all glam in blue and purrs she should be thanking her. She welcomes her partner-in-crime home! Sami is not sure what to make of this ... - Dan suggests Brady was not himself to wed and was not even in any condition to defend himself or Theresa’s so-called honor against angry John. Ominous music plays ... Abe now returns and demands Theresa answer his question. Was only Brady holding the poker or did anyone else hold it? Theresa insists there was no one else holding the poker but why is Abe asking? Because forensics found two sets of prints! - Meanwhile Brady quietly watches Marlena woefully watching John, who continues to hang on by a thread ... - Theresa starts to sweat.
