BASED ON DAYSCAFE NOON TWEETS On the DiMera sofa, sleepy Chad dreams ... what Andre said about the plane crash with someone who looked like Abigail. It is a black and white dream as Chad refused to believe it was real. The frazzled father dreams of Thomas and then Jen crying Abigail is really gone! Too late! Abigail is dead. Jen accuses him of being responsible for her daughter's death, of frightening her into running away. Chad wakes up bellowing NOOOOOOO and Jen comes in with Thomas. He anxiously asks if Abigail is dead. Jen patiently points out he was having a nightmare and hands him his infant son. The baby cries and Jen sighs this stress is bad for them both ... Aiden escorts happy Hope home to her front door ... In the suspicious DiMera property cellar there is a replay of Rafe being knocked out by ANDRE. Rafe goes down ... Aiden asks Hope to have dinner with him tonight. She needs to see Ciara and check in with work first. However, the future feels bright ... Evil Andre has chained unconscious Rafe to the wall and there is no way OUT ... Chad has put the baby down and stammers he is doing alright. Jen sadly states kids sense things. Thomas can clearly tell his father is upset. Chad gets defensive with her. She laments she also is heartbroken about Abigail. Thomas is already traumatized. Chad has a headache. He raises his voice and barks the baby will be affected by his upset, it is unavoidable. Worried Jen wants to take him for a while. Chad screams NO! His face is turning red. Jen reasons she knows about helping kids through trauma. He questions that. Jen begs him to let her have the baby until he gets it together. Chad barks a loud determined DiMera NO! Jen believes he needs a break from stress to focus on finding Abigail. He thinks she just wants to take his son. She reasons he is not Superman. Meanwhile Doug and Julie are at Horton house. Jen wants to take Thomas there for a while. He will be surrounded by stress free love ... Hope agrees to dinner and kisses Aiden. He grins he will make special plans. She wants simple. He opts for pizza and a flick ... Rafe groans and almost starts to stir. Andre is waiting with an explosive surprise! Andre laughs let us see the detective get out of this one! The bomb has been activated and the countdown to chaos begins ... Chad puts his son in his bassinet as sad music plays. He cannot forget that dream where Jen accused him of being responsible. He is troubled she wanted to take Thomas and carries him out for fresh air. Jen is back home with Doug and Julie and they ask for an update. She is worried that Chad will lose control! There is Thomas to consider. Doug thinks he should let the lad stay here. Julie feels Chad would want him close. Jen thinks Chad is crashing, what to do? Dapper Doug gets an idea ... Andre sees Hope calling Rafe's fallen phone and taunts Rafe about it but Rafe seems to be out cold. Andre leers he left fatha to rot, now it is his turn! He listens to Hope's message to call back and leers she should be here. It is only a matter of time. His plan will bring her here too TO DIE at his side! He now climbs the creaky stairs and leaves Rafe to his fate ... Chad takes Thomas to the square. A young woman admires the good dad with his lad and wonders where mommy is. Chad flashes back to the last letter he got from Abigail. The final farewell ... Chad gets emotional and excuses himself ... Back at Horton house the discussion on what to do about Thomas continues. Doug suggests sometimes you need to be tough for loved ones so ... sue for custody. Julie thinks that sounds extreme. However, Jen does believe Chad has a dangerous side, given he is a DiMera. Julie gathers he is going through hell and Doug might have a point. Jen knows not where to start. Julie says a good lawyer. Jen is torn. Doug and Julie tell her to put Thomas first ... At the station Hope is shocked when Shawn tells her Tate was kidnapped. She also hears Abigail is on the run! He asks about Rafe. Hope admits she has been unable to reach him. Forensics Shawn takes her in a room to update her on Aiden. There is intel she needs to know. All of a sudden he is called away due to a possible Tate sighting. He leaves Hope with the envelope and sighs he is so sorry ... It is a hot summer day in Salem. Chad is sweating and stressing at the park. He drinks water and hyperventilates in the heat in his black shirt. Tate starts to fuss. Chad sits down, gasping his head hurts. He now gets a call and insists the search for the woman he loves go on at any cost! He fears Abigail has gone far and will not accept defeat ... Doug has a list of slick lawyers. Jen is not ready yet. She would rather they all work together in these times of trouble. Doug warns her it is not working. Jen leaves for some fresh air ... Chad staggers off with the stroller to find some ice cream ... He soon gets home with Thomas, feeling more relaxed in his cool house. He smiles at his small son on his lap ... Jen has coffee at the pub and considers her options ... Hope has a shock when she realizes the man she was with lately is the same Aiden who married her. She calls Rafe and leaves him a message. Then she storms out with the documented evidence in hand ...Julie soulfully stares out the Horton window. Doug whistles to get her attention. She has concerns that Jen's drug abuse could come out in a case against Chad even though she has been fine for months. Doug thinks she will try to get Thomas anyway. Julie too and she feels terrible for all the hardship Jen has had to endure since she lost Jack. She suggests she should talk some sense into Chad. Doug tells babedoll not to add gas to the flames. She laughs about his new love name for her and calls him the captain of her heart. They conclude they can support the family and protect Thomas .. Prisoner Rafe is awake and realizes to his horror that he cannot move! He is chained and shackled to the cellar wall ... Jen returns to Horton house with an announcement about her decision. She now calls Chad, who snaps he has no intention of changing his mind. Jen states if he denies his condition she has no choice - she will sue for custody of Thomas ... Andre is watching the Rafe show live from his room. He sips white wine with a wicked grin ... HOPE GOES TO AIDEN'S ROOM, PUNCHES HIM TO THE FLOOR, CUFFS HIM AND READS HIM HIS RIGHTS ... Meanwhile Rafe can now see he is cruelly connected to an explosive device that has been activated. DIMERA PAYBACK IS A BOMB! THE END Ahead on Days of Our Lives: Kate and Deimos lie together.
