There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Belle coldly returns to the swanky hotel room. Phil has been working but murmurs he missed her. She laments she lost big at blackjack and charged it to the room. Oh well. Victor pays! Phil is not fussed about it. She sighs back to Salem tomorrow but he suggests they stay in Vegas ... Abigail has been keeping mama Jen company in the cozy Horton living room, watching hours of movies. Jen has a little spasm so Abi suggests a pill. Jen wonders what about Chad. Abigail is anxiously waiting for his text ... At DiMera mansion, Andre is troubled by what transpired to Stefano. Chad makes light of it as he listens, even when he finds out his father's blood was on the figurine. But he refuses to believe his brother's theory that he is dead. Stefano is the master of deception and disappearing acts. Exasperated Andre urges him to use his head. The plane father was supposedly on was from a charter company he had NEVA used before, there is the blood, not to mention the chess piece that was suspiciously set on the wrong square. Hope must have murdered him after she reached her breaking point. Everyone has one! Chad is in denial, gasps he is not dead, and exits in a hurry ... Ciara cannot help but notice her mother has been staring at the same page of that murder mystery in her hands. She wonders whether she is really thinking about Rafe. Pause. Hope changes the subject about texting her those grades so Ciara decides the time has come to say goodnight and disappears upstairs ... Phil gently attempts to talk Belle into staying longer with him and argues they have the jet at their disposal to go wherever they desire on this journey he yearns to continue. Bitter Belle suggests they consider reality. Her daughter is in Salem, as are their jobs so staying away is not an option. Phillip kisses her and comes clean about wanting to be with her. She avoids any kind of commitment, her excuse being that she is not ready. Phillip shares his belief that destiny brought them together again. She admits she believed Shawn was her destiny and then felt so empty. Phillip reasons Shawn was not the right one. Still, Belle does not do destiny ... Chad calls the woman he loves and Abigail is happy to hear from him. She gushes she got some good houses to look at online and invites him over at least to say goodnight. He smoothly states he has something to take care of and promises to see her first thing in the Salem morning ... Hope is alone again and gets startled by the banging on her front door. She gingerly gets closer and opens it to Chad, somewhat surprised he stopped by. He blurts out he came by to forewarn her. Brother Andre believes she killed father Stefano, crazy as it seems. She sighs she knows. He warns her Andre is hell bent on revenge. Hope lets out a strange stressed little laugh. Chad observes her with dread. She regains her composure and calls Andre's accusations baseless. Chad appears relieved. But not quite. He warns her to be careful and departs. Ciara has come downstairs as she overheard. Hope assures her daughter it was nothing and sends her back to bed. Then she falls asleep on the armchair, only to have nightmares in slow motion of the scene where she killed Stefano at close range. He pushed her and she snapped, especially when he called Bo banal. It is now morning in Salem. Chad wakes up in his bed at DiMera mansion, having had nightmares of Andre's theory that Hope murdered Stefano, as well as the last time he saw his father alive. La famila seems to be falling apart at the seams. Chad stands up and numbly stares out the window ... Phil escorts Belle and her baggage inside her absent parents' home and sneaks a kiss. She stops him and states she had fun. He teases to be continued and takes his leave. Moments later SHAWN is standing in the doorway. He explains he is here to talk but Belle acts disinterested and rather defensive. He counters he cannot believe she went back to Phillip, considering their history. Belle is miffed ... Chad joins Abigail and Jen at Horton house, announcing he would like to take them out for coffee. Jen gets a twinge in her back and tells them to go ahead, she would like to stay and look after her grandson, Once they are gone, she gets a different pill bottle from her handbag and pops the potent pain killer ... Outside Chad notes all is not well with Jen but Abigail is more concerned about Chad, sensing he is withdrawn. He assures her he is happy to be with the woman he loves and the two lovers kiss in bliss ... Ciara and Chase are dressed for the day as they come downstairs, discussing the party. Ciara sends him ahead to school and wakes up Hope, who has slept on the chair all night long. Hope gasps Chase and Ciara have got to get out of Salem until the drama dies down. Aunt Marie can hide them. Ciara wants Hope and Rafe to come as well. Hope refuses the idea of Rafe but agrees to be with the teens ... At the DiMera mansion two flunkies who are frustrated over not being paid update boss Andre, who ordered them to put a tail on Hope and Rafe, the usual suspects. Andre soon knows Chad went to see Hope. However, it is when he hears how Rafe slowed his car at a certain spot, only to speed up again that he is intrigued ... Belle snaps at Shawn that she is not the one who needs to explain but he should explain why he sent her divorce papers. He apologizes for not owning up to the mistake he made of ignoring her for his career, which led to her looking for love elsewhere ... At the house of Kiriakis Phillip feels he cannot do anything right for Victor! He updates him on the happy Japanese investors, only to be growled at for getting to meetings late because of Belle. He gets upset his father does not trust him. Victor is sorry, states he is stressed because dangerous Deimos is lurking around, and praises Phillip for his loyalty. Then he hands him his next new project and leaves ... At the club, Chad cannot concentrate on any conversation so Abigail asks him to come clean about what has him all worked up. He mutters about Andre's murderous conclusion concerning father, who must have met with foul play. Abigail smells a trap, until Chad tells her father would have returned by now ... Andre finds the address he was looking for on his computer. It is where Rafe must be hiding a certain something or someone ... Shawn asks for a fresh start. Belle sighs she is not even sure what she wants. Shawn suspects she wants Phillip. He wonders whether he is wasting his time. She tells him they can talk later and he leaves, his eyes filled with determination ... Phillip has a secret meeting with Deimos at the park. He wants OUT. Deimos chuckles there is no way out. They will make the mighty Victor Kiriakis fall to his knees. There is no way OUT for Phillip until the bitter end. Phillip grimaces ... Meanwhile Victor is on the phone, announcing he is ready to put Phillip in charge of the entire company ... Ciara leaves an urgent voice message for Rafe that she and Hope must speak with him on a matter immediately ... Andre is wearing a hardhat, holding a flashlight as he creeps down to the basement of the still undemolished building ... Abigail and Chad are back with Jen at the house. Jen is still in pain and feels she needs the other half of that pill she popped. Abigail follows her. Chad, who had just told Abigail he felt better from their conversation, now gets a call from Andre, who orders him to the warehouse address. After the call, Andre is drawn to a heap of rubble that appears to be hiding something. He is seconds away from FINDING STEFANO! THE END |
