In his hotel room, Paul plays a game of seduction with Will. He smoothly suggests he still wants him and caresses his arm. Will is momentarily mesmerized and the pair share a passionate kiss and another and another ... until Will looks at his ring finger, remembers his wedding vows, and gasps to STOP! Needless to say, Paul is not amused. He acts like he did not know Will was still with someone else, at least not at first ... Victor has a visitor at the mansion that makes him mad. That is, the news he bears makes him mad. The men are upset as one of their own was almost beaten to death. Victor is furious about country Clyde's audacity. He orders his man to place additional guards at the house and leers he will deal with him face to face ... Rafe tries to kick Clyde and Kate out of Victor's new nightclub. He growls Clyde is not welcome here. Kate cackles this is about Jordan but are she and Rafe not over ...? Clyde drawls his money is good here and he is now proven to be an upstanding citizen of Salem. Rafe scoffs. Clyde suggests he is jealous that he is seeing Kate. Rafe scoffs even harder. Clyde points out bad PR would result from kicking him out. Rafe growls the press would start snooping into his background. He suspects that will have the desired effect ... Meanwhile Ben catches up with Jordan, who is highly agitated that he has become chummy with Clyde. Ben starts to suspect there is something she is not telling him. Jordan flashes back to Clyde threatening to expose her and opts not to elaborate ... Chad the cad smoothly suggests to Abigail that Ben lied to her about much more than just Clyde's anonymous donation. Abi blinks and boasts Ben is a very different man than Chad. Chad claims to be concerned for his former flame for who knows what else Ben could be hiding? He did not even give her a real name when they first met ... Not a good sign! He accuses Ben of sidling up to now successful Clyde for a free ride. Abi disagrees. Chad wonders whether she even confided in Ben about THEIR past. Abigail snaps that is not his business. Chad keeps chipping away and gets sarcastic about their insincere relationship ... Joy abounds for John and Marlena at Will and Sonny's apartment. They have just put the baby to bed. Smiling Sonny is happy the supercouple have gotten back together. So are they! They sit closely on the sofa as John fills their host in on his offer from the Salem P.D. Sonny teases his mind must already be made up. John the sleuth smiles he is deciding with doc. She gushes she wants him to be happy so he should accept. John marvels whatever did he do to deserve her ... Marlena is over the moon. She now asks about Will's whereabouts, hoping to see him. Sonny states he is running late, hard at work on his article but all is well ... Maggie arrives home, already fancy for Chez Rouge,and requests a visit to her hubby's new club. Victor's thug has discreetly departed. Jordan believes all that money Clyde is now throwing around is from ill gotten gains. Ben questions what she knows ... Abigail and Chad now appear and stand at their significant other's side. Clyde refuses to leave the establishment. Rafe fumes. Before he can respond, Abigail and Ben return to the table. Kate suggests Rafe go busy himself with the DiMera over there and indicates Chad nearby with Jordan ...Clyde now claims to want to give the couple their privacy and steps away with Kate ... Rafe approaches Chad, stares him down with a sarcastic smile, and offers to get him and Jordan a table ... Big boss Victor enters his new nightclub with Maggie on his arm and spies Chad. He grumbles about the bastard DiMera spawn, the fact that there is nothing worse than a DiMera, then catches sight of Clyde. Dangerous music plays ... Victor complains to Rafe about creepy Clyde, Salem's version of Duck Dynasty ... Rafe of former law enforcement fame offers to dig up something on Clyde. The Greek growls no need, he already has enough. However, he does not share that Clyde is the drug lord of the Ozarks and now the Salem park ... When Kate steps away from her booth with Clyde to answer a business call, Victor makes his move. Clyde is cordial about his nice new establishment. The big Greek warns him that his employees are like family so when he attacks them he attacks HIM. Not a wise move. Clyde snaps to keep his corporate empire and leave the other business to him. He clearly has no idea who he is dealing with ... Sonnny gets a call from T that makes the smile fade from his face. But he pretends to Marlena that all is well. Once alone, he sighs and wishes Will would come home ... Paul the sports star becomes petulant and suddenly disinterested in doing the article. Will worriedly wonders whether him sleeping with him is a condition of their interview. Paul reacts with sarcasm, then sadly apologizes. Will gives him a pep talk about the importance of coming out. Paul quietly asks if it would really make a difference. Will names other sports stars who have come out and insists he would be helping countless people. Paul agrees then he must do it ... Back at the noisy nightclub ... Kate gets catty with Jordan about her dress. Chad suggests she scram and she does. She now gets catty with Rafe about his new job and walks away ... Jordan and Chad decide the time has come to go elsewhere. Ben soap stares as they depart. Abigail soap stares at Clyde and Victor in the distance ... She had no idea they were acquainted ... Victor accuses Clyde of almost beating one of his men to death. Clyde leers Victor's man was in his way. Victor snaps Clyde is in HIS way! Maggie prevents a bloodbath by sweetly introducing herself to Clyde and praising him for his charitable donation. The redhead has no idea how dangerous he is. Clyde, on the other hand, seems to have no idea how DEADLY Victor the Greek can be if provoked. Kate later warns him not to underestimate her LETHAL ex. Clyde responds with a very public kiss. Rafe sees and sighs in exasperation ... Victor goes, cutting Rafe off before he can warn him not to do anything that is not legal ... At the park, Chad and Jordan kiss under the stars. She thanks him for the dress. He calls her stunning. She calls him a prince ... John and Marlena are the only two customers at Sonny's club. They sit with their coffees and she shares her concern. The blonde has a bad feeling that things are not good between Will and Sonny. They are both so busy with their respective careers ... Paul and Will agree to continue the conversation tomorrow. Will heads home, having put his wedding ring back on ... Paul sits alone and then calls his Japanese mother long distance. He explains he has to stay in sleepy Salem a little longer for physical therapy and invites her and grandfather to visit. She gasps they cannot come now! Paul ends the call and sighs then they will learn that he is gay along with the rest of the world when the article comes out ... Ben bids Clyde a good night. He is much moved his son calls him dad for the first time and shares with Kate, who is also moved. She has no idea how lethal her mountain man lover really is ... Ben and Abigail walk out and he becomes rather broody, admitting he is anxious about trusting Clyde. What if Jordan was right and he still is the monstrous man he once was ... She suggests he give his father a chance if a relationship with him is what he really wants. Ben holds her close. He cannot imagine what he would do without her ... Chad and Jordan kiss under the romantic stars. No one will come between them, not even Clyde ... Victor and Maggie are back at their stately home. The Greek is in a foul mood. She wonders whether he is jealous that Kate is with another. He admits his only concern is that hillbilly from hell ... Will gets home, guilt ridden, and massages Sonny's sore shoulders. Sonny is stressed about Victor's new club stealing business from his. Will is appalled, then becomes angry when Sonny admits he had asked him to run it. Will sanctimoniously states they would have needed the money. They are broke and the bills are piling up. Sonny sarcastically blames himself and implies Will thinks he is a loser. Will assures him he has faith in him but Sonny is highly offended. Kiriakises do not take handouts. He storms into the bedroom and slams the door behind himself, Will is unable to stop him. Will's eyes fill with worry ... THE END Ahead on DAYS: Mel decides to tell Dan about Brady ... Rafe steals a kiss from Jordan. Brady knows Theresa's new guy is no good ... |
