He is eternally grateful for her support. She believes their love can conquer all ... Abigail and Jen discuss underhanded Gwen duping them all. Abigail considers that girl capable of anything ... Jack is stunned when Gwen stammers and asks him to help remove the body. She complains Laura admitted their affair to her. Now she needs her father’s help. He wonders how to tell Jennifer. Gwen insists it was an accident, but daddy does not look like he believes her. She proceeds to have a panic attack, so he lies he does believe her and gives her a hug, insisting he is on her side. However, covering up is not an option. He tells her to trust in him as he calls a contact. Eerie music plays ... - Commissioner Rafe is worrying about Eli at his desk when he gets Jack’s call about a DOA ... Ivan warns Madame murder is messy. She ominously orders him to turn the music louder so the babies do not hear her. Then she marches upstairs, a mad woman on a mission ... Abigail admits to Jen that she attacked Gwen, but Chad refused to corroborate to Rafe. Jen marvels how wonderful it is to reunite with trust. She and Jack are now stronger than ever. Abigail smiles ... Rafe arrives and Jack opens the door. The clever commissioner notices Gwen’s black eye mysteriously disappeared and then sees Laura’s body. Gwen claims she took a tumble. Jack calls it an accident and adds he believes his daughter. However, he cannot say he witnessed the incident. Rafe takes over. He orders one of his men to tend to the deceased, calls it a crime scene and informs Gwen she must accompany him. Jack points out tis just police procedure. Rafe wonders whether Jen knows. Jack will tell her the tragic news himself. Rafe agrees. Gwen weeps and bitterly suggests Jack go be his real family. He assures her that includes her. She thanks him for coming ... - Ivan has decided to give the children a lesson in Czech, Alas Eli and Lani interrupt. Eli has a gun on Vivian. The wicked witch was no match for the dedicated detectives! Livid Lani slaps the cuffs on Ivan. Game over ... Abigail packed her bags fast and bids Jen goodbye. She wonders where Julie is. Frazzled Jack returns and sighs they should sit. Abigail assumes it concerns Gwen. He denies it and is sorry to tell Jen that mama Laura has passed. She whimpers. Abigail is shocked and the three share a family hug ... Rafe hauls Gwen into his office. He refers to her fake black eye again and reminds her she is already being investigated for Abigail’s drugging. He proceeds to record their interview regarding the death of Laura Horton.
