There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... JJ the cool cop in uniform greets Gabi with a hello kiss at the square. They are having coffee and cute moments together ... Chad is the new MASTER of DiMera mansion! He orders all the locks changed and British butler Harold thanks him for letting him stay in his service. Chad reminds him his loyalty must now lie with him not his father or Andre. Harold understands completely. Abigail arrives with a long face and he asks about Thomas, when she dropped him off for his first day of daycare. He did not cry. The working mom seems distracted and worried about her own mother ... Jen slowly makes it into her office, the excruciating back pain she feels expressed in grimaces and groans. Mr. Burns the hospital administrator calls about the new children's wing donor list. The press release did not go out today as planned! Jen snaps she sent the press release out as Burns is heard droning in the distance like Charlie Brown's teacher. Jen gets sarcastic so he hangs up. She huffs onto her computer, takes a look, and gasps OH NO. She did not even finish that press release ... Hope is discussing the latest drama with Rafe at Jen's house, where she is now staying. She shares her idea that they come up with a plan to put an end to the danger that Andre poses. Andre would need to be caught with the evidence. Rafe is reluctant but eventually agrees ... Chase is feeling sorry for himself on a park bench when who should appear but Andre, with a devilish smile ... Ciara stops in the square and flashes back to her fight with Chase, how offended he was that she could even suspect for one minute that he had set the fire to the house. She hopes he is alright as she has been unable to find him anywhere ... Andre deduces Chase has decided to run away and offers him his bag of food. Chase complains about Ciara's accusation. Andre muses that must have hurt and proceeds to play matchmaker as it suits his purpose ... And so it comes to pass that former detective Hope and recently reinstated Detective Rafe conspire to plant the gun that shot Stefano on Andre ... Jen grabs the bottle from her purse and pops a handful of pills ... Abigail feels this would be the wrong time to tell her stressed mother she is eloping. Chad smoothly suggests she only tell her after the fact. Jen now calls her daughter to come to work as soon as she can cos she could use her help. Abi sighs she will see Chad later. He kisses her on the cheek and wishes her luck. Abigail walks out feeling uneasy about his new status at the DiMera mansion but she tries to make the best of it ... Andre convinces Chase to stay in Salem and stick up for himself, get Ciara to fall for him. Anything can happen. Chase wonders why he wants to help. Andre smiles he too once ran away but had no friend. He would like to be Chase's friend and offers to set him up at the Salem Inn ... Abigail comes across JJ and Gabi at the square cafe, cuddling together over coffee. JJ gives her a hard time about the company she is keeping. Gabi suggests one needs to support stressed young moms and agrees to get Thomas and Ari together soon. JJ scowls about Abi moving into the DiMera house of horrors. Abigail pauses and remembers her nightmare about Chad's dark side trying to take over at the mansion. Abigail drugs him and unlocks the door to the room where good Chad has been imprisoned. Back to reality. Again Gabi plays the peacemaker. She points out Chad is not such a bad DiMera. Besides, Thomas is also part DiMera. JJ stops. Abigail now announces her intent to elope. JJ holds his tongue but when she has walked away, grumbles his mother will not take this well ... Rafe and Hope discuss their plan, which he will begin by heading to the police station. Ciara comes home and confesses Chase has not come home. Hope frantically leaves him messages and lectures her daughter for not letting her know sooner. Ciara is filled with regret over her accusations ... JJ gazes at pretty Gabi, who is wearing a romantic updo. He would rather be with her than return to work. She smiles soon and gazes back at him ... Back at DiMera mansion, Chad is feeling like the master as he stares into the fire. His thoughts are soon interrupted. Harold informs sir that Andre has asked for the rest of his belongings to be transferred to the Salem Inn. He wonders whether he feels fatha is gone for good. Chad makes a snide remark about being lucky ... Hope fires the guard over the phone for letting Chase give him the slip ... Rafe approaches Roman at the station. It is about Stefano. He suggests Andre might have fought with him and Stefano met with foul play. It is odd that Andre is now staying at the Salem Inn with a gash on his face for which he did not get medical attention. And so the seeds of doubt are planted ... Hope arrives, upset that Chase is missing. Rafe orders now returned rookie JJ to file a missing persons report. Hope gasps to Roman she also has to get a robbery and vandalism report filed for her house was set on fire! Roman reminds her the fire department called it an accident. Hope produces the small hidden camera she found in the house and adds Bo's service gun is gone. She accuses Stefano. Roman notes he is not in the country, he is said to be in Europe. Than one who would have acted alone. Rafe smoothly suggests Andre. Roman takes the bait and an investigation is born ... Theo and Ciara meet at the square. He finds out Chase ran away and rages just as well. If he ever hurt Ciara, he would have to hurt him back! Though she disagrees with his view on Chase leaving, Ciara thanks him for being a friend ... Chase is dining in an elegant room with new bff Andre, discussing the drama of his life ...Abigail has finished the press release for jumpy Jen, who fears the big boss might still be mad. She asks about Thomas in his first day of daycare, then notices her daughter is distracted. Abigail admits she has much on her mind. Jen excitedly asks how the wedding planning is proceeding. Abigail cannot bring herself to say she is eloping. Jen gushes things are good again ... Roman assures Hope they will track down Chase. She melts down over losing Bo. Roman is here for her, whatever she needs ... Abigail calls Chad and laments she could not let her mother know they were eloping. Perhaps eloping is not such a good idea after all ... Chad explains they will have to continue later cos some people have come to the house. Tis the cops, led by Detective Rafe. They have a search warrant regarding Andre. Chad says to search away. Rafe explains Andre is suspected of breaking into Hope's house. Chad is not surprised and thinks Rafe already knows why Andre would want to retaliate. Rafe plays it cool. Chad elaborates. Crazy Andre has it in his head that Hope killed Stefano and Rafe helped her cover up the crime. Rafe muses he is quite mad ... Theo does not want to put pressure on his bff Ciara and they happily head off to get some fries ... Hope weeps and admits to Roman she has felt so angry and lost. Roman believes she would be better having a purpose in her life and offers to have her reinstated at the department. She sighs it would be nice but not now, perhaps not ever ... Meanwhile the searching cop has come across something in Andre's bag. Chad notes they now have what they were looking for, a hint of irony in his voice. Rafe agrees, reaches in with a white cloth and produces Exhibit A, the gun! THE END! Ahead on Days of Our Lives: Chad wonders whether Andre really killed Stefano. Steve hides his dirty little secret from sweetness. Claire finds out what Belle has been hiding! |
