There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Hope and Aiden enjoy their time alone at the festive pub. The kids are presently at a Christmas party. They assume they will have a few hours and kiss in bliss until Doug and Julie waltz in a few days earlier than planned and get an eyeful. Doug is melodramatically mad and demands to know what is going on In L.A. Paige wants to discuss Shane with his doctor, the one who lied. He hastily excuses himself to the OR . Pretty unsuspecting Paige plans to wait Back in Salem, JJ has summoned Kayla to the club, to discuss a delicate matter he would rather Jen not know about. He shares his suspicions that Eve lied to Paige about Shanes condition just to keep her in L.A. and away from him... Eve has a few hours before her flight leaves for Los Angeles. After she has finished grabbing what she needs from this Salem apartment, she cackles she and Paige are never coming back! Dan has the pizzas for his guests, unaware he interrupted Eric and Serena getting close. He wonders where Mel is. Serena replies she went to her place to pick something up, but does not divulge the details. Dan is worried, given where Mel and her secrets usually lead. The Monte Carlos mess is fresh in his mind Mel confronts Nicole for having sneaked into Serenas room. Nicole plays innocent Kayla has not heard anything from Kim about Shane being ill. JJ implores her to speak to Kim and find out what is going on. She agrees to do what she can Mel exclaims she knows what Nicole is up to! Just then Dan calls his daughter and she answers ... Hope hugs mad daddy and smiling Julie, stammering they surprised them a few days early. As it turns out, on the flight Julie let the big secret slip to Doug about her dating someone called Aiden Aiden politely extends a hand Doug wants him to shut up and wants a word alone with his daughter now ... Kayla calls sister Kim long distance. Kim assures her that Shane is just fine, though he will have to watch his hot food intake. No worries. Paige must have misunderstood but this miscommunication can be cleared up as soon as Eve gets back from Salem. Meanwhile Eve is packing everything she thinks she needs Kayla solemnly states JJ was right, there is something strange going on Dan asks Mel what is up ... Errr she ran into something and will be there soon Mel now gives Nicole one chance to explain herself, as a courtesy since she saved her from the clutches of the casino cartel Julie sweetly suggests Aiden join her at the square for a drink. An alcoholic one Now alone with her father, Hope is sorry she did not get the chance to tell him about Aiden face to face first, as she had been planning. Dapper Doug is admittedly still smarting she ran around with motorbike Bo behind his back decades ago. This is the same! Dan gets a call from Chloe, who puts Parker on the phone Serena sighs Dan continues to have questions about Mel in Europe Nicole claims she was curious about Serena but came by to give her an orchid, to make things right ... A bellhop let her in and she can prove it too. Mel calls her bluff Kim is muttering to herself about Eve lying and calls Paige to come home cos they need to talk Eve prances to the door, packed, with no plan of ever coming back to Salem. She dramatically throws open the door but there stands JJ Dan gets back to his guests and the pizza. Serena asks to see a picture of Parker. She admits she is interested in having kids, and gives Eric a heartfelt glance The bellboy confirms Nicoles story Mel makes Nicole leave but sighs she is disappointed L.A. Kim is with Paige and admits she is worried. Paige points out Shane is unwell. Kim explains NO he is not JJ stops Eve, who lies Shane is ill and get out of her way but JJ knows she is lying! Shane is fine and goes home tomorrow. Eve snaps JJ is the liar cos he has been in regular contact with Paige and they did not break up after all Julie and Aiden sip wine at the town square ... She feels badly for having had to hide him running around with Hope. Aiden happily assumes Julie is on his side. Julie gives him a diva stare Meanwhile Hope makes Doug admit he was wrong about Bo all those years ago. She complains Bo has since deserted her. But Doug is worried she does not know Aiden well enough The guests are gone and Mel comes back to Dan's place with a box from Serenas ... he wants to know what is in that box No more secrets! Eve hisses she heard JJ and Paige meeting at the park and heard him convince Paige to lie. He is just like Jack! JJ tells off Eve for lying and shouts he is done with her lies. Eve stops him and rages he already lost Paige and he knows what she is referring to. JJ stops and soap stares. Mel agrees to let Dan sneak a peek at his special Christmas present. Tis a family photo album she left in Berlin to be engraved. The medicine man is much moved. She asks if the scarf he now has on was also from her, as he had agreed to buy some of his own gifts from her. Dan replies the scarf actually came from Nicole. Mel grimaces Nicole settles on a bench at the dark park, ready to dig up some dirt on Serena. She gleefully gets to reading all the emails between her and Eric ... Serena and Eric are also at the park ... She has had settling down on her mind. Serena never found a man who measured up to Eric, she confesses Kim repeats Shane is gonna be fine. Paige soap stares JJ threatens to expose Eve if she does not tell the truth to Paige and let her come home. But Eve wants Paige to stay away from the Devereaux boy and threatens to expose what she and JJ did! Then he would lose her forever! She pulls out her phone to make good on her threat. JJ grabs her phone and she grabs it back Julie patiently points out wine sharing does not mean a thing. In addition, she knows precious little about Aiden. He has miiiiiiiiles to go to earn her trust Hope insists Aiden is a great guy but Doug thinks even Hope is harboring doubts. He decides he is not even interested in knowing him! Mel wonders whether Dan is serious about Nicole. He is unsure and sighs him and Jen ... Mel is aware they are over, cos she spoke with Jen, and just wants her da to be happy. However, she advises him to proceed with caution where that Nicole is concerned cos she could not make anyone happy ... Nicole reads the email exchange about her misdeeds and gets angry that Serena referred to her as an awful woman. She calls her a beech Serena gets an unexpected message from her jet setting mother, who has cancelled their Montreal Christmas. Eric tenderly invites her to Christmas with his clan and she accepts with stars in her eyes. They share a romantic kiss in the moonlight Page has just discovered that both Eve and the doctor deceived her and she knows it was to keep her away from Salem JJ argues Eve cannot destroy Paige like that. She hisses he already lost Paige ... He thunders no wonder men do not want Eve. She hisses he could not keep his hands off her and tries to storm out. JJ pulls at her bag and they fall on the couch together, where one thing leads to another THE END! Ahead on DAYS: Oops they did it again! Paul tells Will as much as he wants him to know ... |
