There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Paul enters Sonny’s club but alas the owner is not present. Paul flashes back to his last conversation with Sonny, who questioned his identity. Much to his dismay, lacy Theresa appears, assuming he was looking for HER … Writer Will is trying to work from home. He reads about Paul and plans his questions. Sonny comes back inside, having forgotten his keys to the new club. Will wants to talk but Sonny is curt … The California doctor claims to have bad news. Eve explains to her daughter they have to remain here, due to Shane’s deteriorating health … At Horton house, JJ gets a spill and starts to change his shirt. Rory steps into the kitchen for napkins. Holiday shoppers Mel and Abigail enter with their bags … At the square suspicious Eric wants to know all about when Serena met Nicole. Meanwhile Nicole and Dan have just shared a passionate kiss at his place. She mentions making a plan. He grins she wants a date? Of course! … Paul explains he is here for … the coffee. Theresa sits him down at a table and coos she will take care of all his … coffee needs! Paul grimaces ... Abigail waits for JJ to put his shirt back on and wonders what has him so upset. Must be Paige … Dan lets Nicole know that tonight is not possible, as he already invited Eric over for dinner with him and Mel … Serena dismisses the notion of nosy Nicole causing trouble … Theresa is so happy to have run into Paul. Why she could not even get his address. He replies he is staying at a hotel. Which one? Pause. Paul wants her to know something … Sonny is still smarting that Will lied to him about his real reason for coming home from Hollywood and kept ignoring his calls while away. In addition, he is having a tough time with the new club and wishes Will even gave a damn …The doctor describes the situation to puzzled Paige. Due to the patient’s age, he would like to keep an eye on Shane and administer IV antibiotics, which would require him to remain in the hospital longer. He now departs, leaving the daughter alone with her deceitful mother. Needy Eve explains that is why they have to stay. Paige will at least be able to attend Stanford. Paige protests … JJ assures Abigail that he and Paige are fine. Bashful Mel joins the pair. JJ is pleased to meet her. She quips she has heard all about him from Dan … er … good things … Rory comes back with the napkins. He is thunderstruck by Mel the fetching redhead and the napkins fall to the floor … Nicole learns that Serena has also been invited to Dan’s dinner party. She plays it cool, though she is seething inside … Eric remains concerned about Nicole causing trouble for Serena. She slyly states she can take care of herself, and would rather focus on their future … Busy Mel excuses herself for the dinner party chez Dan and Abigail walks out with her, as she has Christmas presents to deliver to the club in person … Rory calls all the gals in JJ's life HOT. He has been mesmerized by Mel … Eve explains she can go home and pack while Paige stays here in L.A. Paige cannot convince her otherwise and dares not make any mention of JJ … Paul assures Theresa is she pretty … She deduces he has someone else in his life. There is someone he has feelings for, someone from his past who might not be gone from the picture after all. He intends to find out soon … Will insists he NEVER stopped loving Sonny while he was helping Sami far away in Los Angeles. He hopes they can talk tonight. Sonny sighs whatever and takes his leave … Paul stands up to greet Abigail, who thanks him for the hefty donation. Once he leaves the establishment, Abigail approaches Theresa at her table and proceeds to mock her for losing the interest of yet another good man … Serena is surprised to find out that Dan and Nicole are actually friends. And Mel? Eric does not think they are close. Serena is only interested in spending time with Eric, not thinking about Nicole, and sweetly lets him know … Dan the man agrees to an official date AFTER the crazy holidays ... he also needs to talk to Jen, offers to tell Eric. Nicole gushes she only wants Dan, kisses him, and goes on her way, her face filled with determination and consternation … She heads to the town square, where she sits alone with her cup of coffee, obsessing over Serena, And so she continues her sneaky online search … Eric arrives at Dan's place in time to meet cute Mel and her gingerbread house of millions of pieces in a box for Parker. Inside the celebration gets underway. Serena and Dan and Eric and Mel enjoy a glass of Chilean wine ... CHEERS … Rory realizes JJ is still in a mood over missing Paige, and departs … Paige is suddenly tired. Eve is still needy. Paige steps out of the doctor’s office. The doctor compliments wicked Eve on her lying ability ... Abigail accuses Theresa of disrespecting the confidentiality agreement they signed by hitting on secret patient Paul Norita. Sonny is back at work behind the counter and overhears ... At the park, Will removes his wedding ring and hides it in his pocket. Paul arrives with a smile and a glint in his eye … Paige frantically phones JJ. She is disheartened and bears dire news… Eve now confers with Kim and pretends she has a good reason for wanting her daughter to stay in L.A. with her indefinitely. Kim is elated they will be in town for Christmas. Unfortunately Theresa was not interested in joining the family … Back at the club, Theresa snaps at Abigail. Paul did hit on her but then some old lover came back into the picture. Sonny is all ears … Sonny later asks Abigail about the exchange … Paul makes eyes at Will and flirts about their clandestine meeting. Will is ready to get started and just wanted background on ... his ... love life. Paul makes a strange face … At Dan’s dinner party Eric and Serena fondly remember how they hated one another when they first met in Africa. Mel and Dan are amused, given he was a photographer, she was a reporter. The story continues. Then came the rebels, much unrest, and they were brought together amid the turmoil. Eric admits he is grateful they are together again, but minus the danger. Serena has stars in her eyes … A co-worker notices Nicole alone at the square. She complains Eric got mad at her for researching his old friend. The clever co-worker advises her to make nice with the girl. Nicole explains she is out with Eric at Dan’s place, then gets an ingenious idea … Will has questions about Paul’s long distance relationship with a supermodel in Paris. It was highly publicized but then they broke up. Why? Paul airily replies he did not want to be tied down … Will makes notes ... Abigail informs Sonny exactly what Paul said to Theresa … As the men chat, Mel encourages Serena to try again with Eric. She would be willing to help how ever possible. Serena gets an idea … Nicole calls and lies to the hotel that her name is Serena Mason and she forgot her room number … Kim thinks Eve has a reason for not wanting to be in Salem ... Eve says it is about a boy, they need a fresh start! She also asks Kim not to discuss any details about Shane’s recent scare with Paige, whose nerves are bad … Paige cries to JJ they are moving to L.A! JJ wants to come on down. Not possible and she cannot leave her mom but she loves JJ! JJ woefully wonders whether this is their last goodbye … Will notes there was no real relationship after the model. Paul wants to know his view on the state of being tied down ... Will laughs his views do not sell magazines. Paul smiles he will answer any 3 questions Will asks if Will answers 3 of HIS questions. Will considers … Abi presents Sonny with Christmas gifts for himself, Will, and Ari. Sonny has not had the time to do any shopping yet … Abigail adds how upset Gabi is. She emailed her that she has not seen the baby in ages … Paul wants Will’s view on being tied down ... Sonny immediately texts Will to head home. This is about Arianna! Will hastily excuses himself. Paul grins he got his answer. They shake hands and unsuspecting Will walks away. Paul watches his every move … Eve claims Paige is very worried about losing her grandfather. Kim gets it and they hug … Paige cries this is not goodbye but how can they see one another now? Knocking on her bedroom door makes her hang up in spite of JJ’s protests. Back in Salem, JJ stands alone … Serena slyly asks Mel to tell her everything about Nicole … But Nicole is already a step ahead in the game … She flashes a smile at a bellboy at the Salem Inn, flowers in hand, explaining she needs to get into THAT room. And what Nicole wants ... THE END! |
