BASED ON DAYSCAFE NOON TWEETS WITH DETAILS ADDED! In a room at the station Paul is grim as he prepares to update Sonny on who really killed Deimos ... At the Kiriakis mansion raging bull Brady blasts Victor for offing Deimos and not coming forward for wrongly accused Sonny ... Jade returns Joey's call. It is about Ava. He wonders whether Tripp believes Kayla is to blame for her demise ... Tripp snaps and presses his scalpel against Kayla's neck. Enter Steve. Tripp insists she confess ... At the hospital Abigail blinks at Chad and wonders how she came to be there. Chad gushes she saved him ... Elsewhere Julie calls Jen and JJ approaches Gabi. They both know Chad is at the bedside of Abigail as they speak ... Chad praises Abigail for protecting him from Dario's damning picture. He adds he is aware her marriage to Dario was no more than an arrangement and apologizes for the things he said. He asks for forgiveness ... Gabi assures JJ she is aware why Chad is with Abigail. The doctor informs the family that the patient is awake. Relief! Jen cannot wait to see her daughter ... Abigail does not blame Chad for reacting the way he did ... He becomes emotional about wanting to tell her ... The moment ends as the doctor explains the need for more tests. Chad finds out only immediate family may stay. He reluctantly takes his leave as JJ and Jen converge. Abigail asks JJ about Dario, whether he was apprehended by the police ... Gabi is waiting. Chad admits Abigail's memories are murky. Gabi would now like a word alone ... Steve plays the role of the patient hostage negotiator. Tripp demands Kayla confess to her crime. She exclaims she did kill Ava ... Sonny is stunned to hear how Victor used Xander to kill Deimos ... Victor confirms to raging bull Brady that it is true, he did order Xander to kill Deimos. However, that was not exactly how it went down ... Sonny has a hard time believing Victor would have let him languish in jail for so long. He has to see him. Paul points out Brady is confronting him for the truth as they speak ... At the pretty park Gabi tries to talk Chad out of turning himself in. Andre told her all about it Chad feels he has no choice. She reminds him he and Abigail are clearly still in love ... Steve cannot believe what sweetness is saying. Tripp seems relieved. Joey suddenly blurts out HE was the one who killed Ava. Steve is unable to stop him. Kayla fibs he is lying to help her. She cries as she and Steve try to stop him but to no avail. Joey insists HE did kill Ava and his folks have been covering for him the whole time ... JJ updates Abigail on Dario's disappearing act ... Gabi updates Chad on listening to his words of love for Abigail. The time has come to let him go ... Paul suggests the following sequence to Sonny. If Victor comes clean and agrees to turn himself in, then he and Brady will forewarn Sonny. It sounds a tad strange to Sonny, who says ok ... According to Victor's account to Brady, Xander came to the mansion demanding money and a job. The black sheep did not want to risk killing Deimos with so many witnesses. The Greek tycoon withdrew the deal and his men took Xander back to the jet. He seems to suspect Sonny did kill Deimos ... Chad is sorry for any hurt he caused to Gabi. She now knows Abigail will always have his heart ... Joey tells Tripp that he is the one he wants. He is tired of his parents protecting him. Steve and Kayla implore their son to stop. Tripp releases Kayla and raises the scalpel to Joey. Kayla cries NO and Steve tries to talk down the betrayed young man. He reasons they are all family now. Tripp pushes brother Joey away as well and lets out a tragic cry. Steve and Kayla hug safe Joey in relief ... Jen is thankful to have Abigail back and thankful that Eric's prayers with her helped. Abigail credits Chad ... Gabi bravely tells Chad to go to the woman he loves. He leaves and she breaks down ... Sonny is grateful for Paul's news, even though it is sad on some level. They share an emotional I love you and a kiss ... Brady does not believe Sonny did it. Victor decides they are going to blame another party and Brady has to help ... Kayla embraces Joey. Steve gives Tripp a hug as well and wants him to know he has his back. Tripp tragically breaks down ... JJ is on a food run for Abigail when he finds Gabi alone at the park with her heartbreak. She cries on his shoulder about Chad. Meanwhile Chad is with the fair Abigail again. He lets her know she is his everything ... They declare their love for one another and his lips caress her brow ... STAY TUNED! |
