He wanted to get her mind off ... she mutters he means killing Deimos, which will come back to haunt her with Holly ... Outside Chloe calls the cops to anonymously report a dead body ... Rafe and Hope decide on another camping trip when all the soap dust settles. They passionately kiss outside ... Raines calls Myron at the club for proof against Abe. Myron needs more time and ends the call. Here come Rafe and Hope. They let him know they know what he did ... Hattie stuffs her face at the square. Paul confronts her for what she did to his dad and points out she was the last person to see him. She lies she knows not where he is. Paul gets suspicious ... John gets Marlena to see him in her mind as they embrace. Sweet scene. Back to reality and the fact that they are separated by a wall, stuck in matching straight jackets at the sanitarium. Marlena feels a bit better. He does too as he has a plan. No more drugs with lunch and dinner and he is busting them out on this day ... Hattie lies about her last meeting with John and his lack of pride. Paul gets peeved. Hattie claims she is the type who moves on when a man doesn't want her. Paul peers at her, finding her reaction out of character. She claims she is under pressure. Paul gets back to the topic of John. Hattie claims he told her he was headed off on an ISA mission and it might be a long one. Paul replies she must know that is not really true ... Back at the park caller Chloe states the room is the Salem Inn, room 2116, natural causes. She cannot say who she is as she wants no trouble. But then she turns and soap stares at someone as drums of doom play ... Hostage John says there are steps to his plan. Marlena worries. He reminds her they are out of options. She lets him know she trusts him with her life ... At the station JJ promises Lani they will not let Raines get away with it ... Myron denies having contact with Raines. Hope replies they know he came to see him and demands an explanation. Myron replies he asked to see Dario's records for proof against Abe. Rafe talks obstruction of justice and suggests he start telling the truth ... John has finally freed himself from his straight jacket and tells honey how to do it. Marlena moans and wiggles ... Chloe finds herself face to face with faithful Eric, who only overheard she wanted no trouble. Chloe claims it was the cops asking about Dario, who hired her to sing at the club. She now asks what he decided regarding the way he feels about Nicole ... Nicole fears the judge could still be in Deimos' pocket but Brady points out their deal is as dead as Deimos. Alas he cannot involve Justin due to the fact that Sonny was unfairly accused and what they know would exonerate him. They could not ask him to hide it! Enter suited Justin, who wonders when he sees the look on their faces ... Jump Street JJ agrees with Lani about what a bastard Raines is. He was using and playing them the whole time! Lani knows not how she will be able to keep her cool around him. Raines walks by and she gives him a death stare ... Hope gets Rafe to withdraw and assures Myron they are not against him. They know how Raines can be when he goes after someone. She suggests Abe is innocent and assures Myron they can help him. He blurts out Raines threatened to kill him if he did not help him frame Abe ... Justin informs Brady and Nicole that her hearing was changed to TODAY. Brady and Nicole will get ready. Brady becomes tense when Justin adds of course Eric will be there to testify as Nicole's supervisor. Brady blinks, hiding his rage ... Eric lets Chloe know he will do nothing as Brady and Nicole are clearly in love. Chloe the hopeless romantic is sympathetic. Eric states he wants no conflict with his brother. Chloe knows Brady well and knows he would hate to lose Nicole but he would also hate being played for a fool ... Marlena urges John to leave without her. He reminds her when she was in labor with Belle and she was so calm and tough. He tells her she can be that way again! 1 2 3 and the blonde gets the straight jacket off! John drawls this takes them a step closer to their great escape. He will neutralize the orderly when he returns and then wants her to run. After they get out he will put crazy Hattie here where she belongs ... Paul finds this mean side of "Marlena" strange so she call him a spoiled brat. Then she fumbles for another word. Paul does not want his father to be hurt. She counters he should remember John is tough and alludes to her shattered dreams ... Brady gives Nicole a pep talk as Chloe comes into the court house. She came with Eric and Nicole is happy to have her there. Chloe smiles she is here for her. Nicole goes to get water with her friend. Brady thanks his brother for agreeing to give a statement. He is sorry he trashed his room as he made a wrong assumption. Eric assures him there will never be anything between him and Nicole. He accepts his apology, then they shake hands and hug ... Myron wishes Rafe and Hope would have been straight with him about being onto Raines. He starts to panic but Hope wants to help him. Rafe advises him to play along with Raines and do as asked. It still feels like a terrifying prospect to the technical misfit. He is being asked to invent evidence against Abe! Hope assures him he has their protection. He talks entrapment. Rafe reasons only Raines was trying to entrap and besides they will keep him safe. Myron wants to run instead but forgets his keys. Hope goes after him, leaving Rafe at the club ... Back at the station Raines can sense the hostility from Lani but she stammers she is just sorry for trying to get involved in the case. She hopes her father will be exonerated and excuses herself. Raines tells JJ his partner is wound up. JJ lowers his voice and lies he wonders how clean Abe could really be as he has a family connection to the DiMeras. He offers to help should Raines require anything. Raines gets a strange look in his eye ... Nicole and Brady have big plans about their happy future. Eric sits by a window and woefully watches them kiss ... John stretches and smiles to doc they will be home alone soon. She longs to hold him again so he sits at the vent and murmurs he can make it happen ... Lani rejoins JJ, who updates her on what he said to Raines. Raines now walks in and announces he is heading to City Hall for a meeting. Meanwhile he is leaving JJ in charge ... Hope tails Myron to the pretty park. She warns him without their assistance he would be alone and Raines would find him! She gets he is a good guy in a bad situation but if he helped them nail Raines he would get another chance. She extends her hand and gives him her word so the young man agrees. Dangerous music plays ... Chloe finds Rafe at the club, curious about her singing offer from Dario. Rafe informs her Dario's assets were frozen by the feds but he will call if he hears more. He now gets the call about the report of a dead body at the Salem Inn. As Rafe is busy he asks dispatch to send Officer Roy ahead. When he turns around, Chloe has vanished! Rafe and Hope now return to the station and get an update on Raine's whereabouts from JJ and Lani. They almost have him ... Raines calls Myron from outside the club. He explains he had errands but is almost ready with what he wants. Raines is most pleased ... Hattie suggests Paul looks sad. Paul feels guilty about getting John to go on the mission that made Marlena so mad. She lies it was all the missions. Paul is perplexed she wants nothing to do with him cos they seemed so hopelessly devoted. He begs her to give him another chance cos Roman does not even want her. Hattie claims three strikes he is out so John is done. Game over. Paul soap stares as she storms off ... John has studied the vent and slides his hand through to Marlena, who does the same. Their fingers touch and she gasps in delight... Justin returns to Brady and Nicole but there is a problem. He solemnly states he just heard from the judge and "HE KNOWS WHAT YOU DID!" STAY TUNED |
