He calls her cell phone, unaware that Hattie the doppelganger now has it. He wonders where oh where could she be ... At the station Justin is treated to a tender kiss between Lucas and Adrienne ... At DiMera mansion Andre informs Kate that Theo got rid of the damning photo of Chad. She bears bad news. Abigail was hit by a car. Andre the faithful ally hopes she is going to be alright. Then he takes off to the hospital ... At the hospital Gabi sticks to sad Chad like glue and updates him on the fake marriage between Abigail and Dario ... John appears at DiMera mansion and growls to Kate that his wife has gone missing. Meanwhile Hattie has to tell Angelica about her unexpectedly fast tracked plan. She has decided she will dump John sooner rather than later ... JJ joins Jen in Abigail's room. The fair mother cries she cannot lose her daughter and wishes she had never married dreadful Dario. JJ does his best to console her, painfully aware that Abigail is not out of the woods yet ... Lani spreads the word at the station that Abigail was the victim of a hit and run. Lucas, Adrienne and Justin are horrified to hear it. Lucas excuses himself to go to sister Jen. Adrienne remains for her rendezvous with Sonny ... Elegant Andre arrives at the hospital asking for a word alone with his brotha, who remains baffled by Abigail accompanying Dario to witness protection ... Kate wickedly teases John that Marlena just might not want to see him at the moment. Pause ... Angelica demands to know what Hattie went and did with Marlena. Meanwhile Marlena wakes up alone, confined in a box ... Adrienne gets her visit with Sonny, who sadly realizes Arianna did not want to come and see him like this. It is taking its toll. Justin promises his son he will not have to stay here much longer. Adrienne adds Paul and John are pursuing a lead. Sonny has already heard about it and sighs it went nowhere ... Andre refuses to have his word with Chad in the presence of Gabi the ex-beauty consultant. Chad would rather wait but Andre is persistent ... Lani and Lucas arrive to show their support for Jen and JJ ... Andre lowers his voice and enlightens Chad on Dario threatening to expose Chad's damning picture with Deimos to the cops if Abigail did not do as told. Chad has no idea how the photo happened as he has no recollection of killing anyone that night at Marton House ... Terrified Marlena gasps for help ... Hattie tells Angelica that Marlena is now inside a trunk. Angelica is exasperated. Hattie has dreams of double dating Roman with Justin and Bonbon. Angelica now orders her to make a deposit outside of Salem ... Alas Adrienne's visit with Sonny is over too soon and he is escorted away with Arianna's picture. Justin holds Adrienne's hand as he vanishes from view ... Jen laments to Lucas that something is not right. Abigail would never have taken off without Thomas ... As they stroll through the square Justin assures Adrienne that he will help get Sonny freed. She appreciates it and steps away for a second to call for an update on Abigail. Angelica approaches Justin, who is now alone, and lets him know she has decided to live in Salem. Needless to say he is not thrilled to hear it ... John drawls he is home for good. Kate makes a snide remark, then sincerely wishes him the best with finding Marlena ... JJ regrets all the times he did not appreciate Abigail. He leans on Lani ... Meanwhile Jen appreciates brother Lucas being there for her and they embrace ... Chad is amazed at how Abigail was trying to protect him all this time. However, he feels the damning photo of him over Deimos should be used to set Sonny free. Andre explains Theo made it disappear from all devices for all time. Chad wishes Theo had not been used to do it. He feels guilty as soap sin ... Justin asks Angelica why stay in Salem. She claims to have business interests. He probes and she pouts she only went after Adrienne as she was jealous about Justin! She wants to start over with no bad blood for the sake of son Alexander. Justin is suspicious ... At the psychiatric facility outside of town, Hattie plays the role of Dr. Marlena. She wants the sedated loon who believes she is her to be locked up. This patient's name is Hattie Adams. The doctor is rattled by the resemblance. Fake Marlena has all the necessary commitment papers and claims the sedated woman in the wheelchair can become violent if not drugged ... Lani gives JJ a sweet kiss and returns to the station to look into the identity of the hit and run driver. Jen is grateful Lucas is going to stay. She asks Gabi where Chad went. To have a word with Andre ... Chad insists he cannot let Sonny languish in jail. Andre advises him to focus on Abigail. He weeps as Andre holds him, feeling horrible for the harsh words he spoke to her before the hit and run. Andre knows they still love one another and says so rather loudly. Chad does not deny it. Here comes Gabi ... As Hattie meets Angelica again, John leaves another anxious message for Marlena on her phone ... News spreads that Abigail is out of surgery at last ... Adrienne returns to Justin and he informs her of Angelica's plan to put down roots in Salem. They both smell a rat ...
