At the hospital glam Julie has pretty flowers and smiles for Abigail about getting back together with Chad but Abigail worries what will happen at the hearing. What if she loses him ... Sonny and Chad wait with anxiety at the station. Chad wishes he could call Theo. Sonny still fears the judge might not accept their new memory as fact. He laments the real killer is the one who stole the amulet ... Chloe greets Eric, who is surprised to see her. She came back for a gig but Dario is gone and so much happened in the weeks she was away beginning with Deimos' murder ... Brady remembers the amulet and announces to Nicole it is about Eric. She assures him there is nothing between them ... Roman gasps and shoves fake Marlena away at the pub. But pushy Hattie dives in for another crazy kiss ... Andre dapper DiMera is headed for the courthouse to support brotha but Kate stops him at the DiMera door. She reminds him his reputation would not help Chad. She wants the best for him as well. Andre confronts her for what she told Shin about HIM. She reminds Andre he failed in his mission to help Chad and suggests he skip. When she walks out he leers her power trip shall end sooner rather than later ... At the square Paul is sympathetic that Marlena left John. John knows something is off ... Roman pushes Hattie away again, aghast when she announces she should have been with him all this time. Did he never imagine what could have been? He does not deny it so she smiles like a she-devil ... Julie gives sweet Salem patient Abigail a pep talk about soul mates. She sees how happy she and Chad are! Abigail fears the judge might not rule in his favor ... Sonny states they just need the judge to accept their "coincidental" memory. Paul enters so Sonny excitedly updates him ... Chloe asks where Nicole is. She came to ask about Holly. Eric notes she will be here soon and states the 60 day waiting period is almost over. Chloe questions him on the fact that they have been working sooooo closely ... Brady accuses Nicole of lying to him for a long time. She wonders whether he trashed Eric's room. He did and fumes he wanted to find the photos from the private photo shoot. He heard her telling him how she felt good with him and wanted to see the photos. Nicole gets mad and hands the fool the envelope, daring him to look inside. For the first time Brady starts to doubt his power of deduction ... Julie advises Abigail to rest. They discuss the Abe drama. Jen is working overtime on the story. Julie states Abe is almost a saint! Andre sweeps in and suggests he is a self-righteous hypocrite. Julie engages in a war of words with the DiMera, questions his sanity, and excuses herself ... Paul is elated cos he already knew Sonny could never kill anyone! They hope for the best. Paul now gets a text. The courthouse is waiting. Chad goes first ... Kate apologizes to John at the square for being rude. He sighs she was right about Marlena trying to avoid him. Matter of fact doc dumped him. Kate blinks in disbelief ... Back at the pub Roman warns Hattie not to call him darling cos his head is spinning. She presses so he says to slow down. A part of him will always love her BUT he feels something is off. She wants another kiss. He growls her kiss was wrong because ... Eric innocently states he and Nicole have been getting along and uses the F word. Friends. Chloe wonders whether the woman he had on his mind when she walked in was Nicole ... Nicole orders Brady to open the envelope. He is baffled and she emotionally explains Eric offered to take photos of her for Holly's crib. There was no sexay photoshoot! He adds he also overheard her talking about their secret. She weeps it was about forgiveness for she forgave Eric. It started when she saw his heartfelt letters about wishing he could be dead instead of Daniel. Brady looks down. How he wishes she would have told him! She was worried he would misunderstand her motives. And she was right for he has jumped to crazy conclusions! Brady feels like a fool ... Kate tells John that his and Marlena's love is the forever kind. She drags him off for a drink and a discussion about what's eating Marlena ... Roman declares he and Marlena are different people now. If only he knew! Hattie reminds him he said he wanted love in his life. He talks true companionship. She wants a reboot of their romance. He tells her to stop and suspects she is rebounding. She needs to go to John and work things out. Their ship has long sailed and there is no chance for them. John enters the pub with Kate and gets suspicious when Marlena sweeps past, all upset. He demands Roman explain ... Eric admits to Chloe that he still cares deeply for Nicole. Chloe thinks it is obvious but Eric sighs she is with brother Brady. He confirms to Chloe he loves her like no other. Then he asks her to forget his words. Chloe the romantic reasons feelings do not go away so easily ... Nicole was going to wait for the right time. Brady gets it but he disagrees when she explains Eric did not do anything wrong. Brady now informs her that Eric was the one who killed Deimos but he acted alone ... Abigail is sorry to Andre that Julie called him crazy. Mental illness is not something to use against someone. Andre sits and smiles he has missed her ... John is baffled. Roman admits he and Marlena disagreed. John ponders. He points out it was about the past and they kissed. John hauls off and slugs him as Kate gasps ... Chloe tells Eric not to torture himself and hide his feelings. He would rather play the martyr for Brady and Nicole. Chloe believes he too deserves to be happy ... Brady shows Nicole the amulet he accidentally discovered in Eric's room. She gasps and flashes back to him returning to their room, stating he had done something bad that fateful fuzzy night. Nicole now fears the worst ... Andre confides to Abigail that it would hurt Chad if he attended his hearing given his reputation. He sighs even Kate seems to spread stories about his instability. Chad suddenly appears with a red rose and hugs his dream girl. He is free at last! Andre smiles at the happy reunion. Abigail giggles ... Kate stops the battling bucks. Roman bellows Marlena kissed him and he told her to go back to John. John is sorry and Roman points out it was quite a punch. But Marlena is not quite herself. John takes off to find her ... Paul is with Sonny at the station, ready for a new start. Paul smiles Justin will soon come in with his release papers! Sonny teases no more bad decisions and they kiss in bliss ... Chad credits Sonny's testimony for saving the day. Andre is elated, speaks of Kate stepping back for Chad, and smiles he will see him at home where he belongs. Abigail sighs she feared she would lose him. Chad gently assures his baby he will always come back to her. Always. Their eyes lock with love. Back at the pub Roman insists to Kate he was not making moves on Marlena. Kate is still surprised by Marlena's behavior. Roman agrees. However, he would like some love in his own life. Kate calls love a blessing and a curse. Roman realizes that but he has had enough of the lonely life. Perhaps it is time to open his heart. Kate giggles as sweet music plays. Roman admits he might even wish to revisit a love he lost. He flirts fate might have brought Kate here and she gets closer until they start to KISS. Enter Andre the jealous husband ... Meanwhile John bangs on Marlena's door and refuses to leave until she lets him in ... Paul and Sonny make plans on how to celebrate Sonny's release. Sonny is looking forward to all the little things with Paul. He has something important to ask him and says so with a twinkle in his eye ... Abigail wonders why Chad is sighing and smiling at her. He asks her to marry him ... Eric confides to Chloe that he cannot complicate his working relationship with Nicole now. She gets it and he swears her to secrecy. She warns him his feelings will not disappear. Then she departs ... Back at the Kiriakis mansion Nicole updates Brady on Eric saying he did something bad but she doubts he would take revenge by killing Deimos. Brady asks then why did he have the amulet? Nicole remembers holding it in her own hand and standing alone that fateful night. Back to the present. Brady wants to know what she just remembered. Nicole's eyes reflect her horror ... BOOM! |
