Man in blue EJ glares at Lucas, who stammers Kristen’s letter was a lie. EJ accuses him of sleeping with his wife twice and tells him he knows all. The deception stops now ... Rafe refuses to leave livid Sami alone with Nicole. Drums play ... Back at the cabin Ben gets himself to a stool and blames Ciara for his injury. She gets testy and threatens to go. He gasps to go then but she wants to wrap his hurt ankle first. He reminds her how he made her splint here too and that is why she knows what to do. She snaps she used to be a candy striper. He warns she will need to be cloooooose to help him ... EJ coldly accuses Lucas of lusting after Samantha all these years. Lucas accuses him of blackmailing her way back when they were together and argues he loved her first ... Rafe lectures Sami for setting up Nicole. Sami realizes Nicole told Rafe about her affair. Nicole reminds her she cheated on Rafe with EJ, so she had this coming. Sami attacks ... - EJ growls Samantha is not here. Lucas praises her for standing by the man she married and points out he pushed her away. EJ suggests he scram. Lucas suggests he step aside if he does not love her. EJ looks ready to explode ... Rafe breaks it up. Sami rages Nicole stole her property! Nicole thinks she should not be surprised she got revenge for ruining her marriage. Sami howls how did she get the letter ... Phil sarcastically reminds Gabi he is CEO. She babbles about laptop trouble and then sees he is stressed. He reveals the last few days have been rough ... Jake reads the article about Ben and praises his pal for fighting for his true love. Ava’s view is different ... Ciara requests Ben’s necktie for the splint. Tis not enough. He offers his shirt. She gasps no and symbolically rips off a piece of her wedding dress. Then she gets close and suggests he bite on something. He remembers saying the same thing when he set her splint. Now she tends to his splint and he moans for a moment ... Ava feels for fearful Ciara. Jake explains it was an intervention on Ben’s part cos she needs to get her memory back before she marries the wrong guy. The talk turns to DiMera but Jake the outsider is not interested in that drama. He is ready to do something different with Gabi ... - Phil is still smarting from Lucas being mad about the way he played dirty. Gabi quips she can relate and slips the files she just downloaded into her pocket ... Rafe informs raging bull Sami that Philip gave Nicole the letter. She learns Lucas came by and why ... EJ threatens Lucas like a mobster. Lucas leers he and Sami are a couple from hell ... As birds chirp outside Ben emotionally thanks Ciara. He has perceived her fear of him due to history. It was also there when he first brought her here. He remembers promising her he would never harm her and repeats that promise. She complains he cannot seem to stay away and accuses him of being controlling. She wonders how long he held her prisoner here, so he enlightens her. She wanted to stay for she felt safe. He took care of his sweet Salem patient and she trusted him. Ciara starts to remember. Ben probes. She gets peeved and decides to depart. He complains he could get attacked by a bear. She walks out and warns she will be Theo’s wife when they meet again. Ben cannot stop her ... Sami rages this is far from over and storms out. Nicole sarcastically sends good wishes to EJ ... - Lucas came cos he was worried what EJ would do to Sami. Elvis explains he would never harm Samantha and reaches for a gold letter opener. He leers he would not hesitate to harm Lucas, however ... Ben holds his leg and whispers Ciara’s name. Outside Ciara cannot get the car to start and curses ... Gabi apologizes for her past behavior when she was trying to get Jake back. She appreciates what a gentleman Phil was when she stopped their almost tryst. He points out they have the perfect working relationship. Gabi plays along ... Ava is surprised to hear Jake used to run with the Vitali family in Philly. He wonders whether she is related to his ex-boss Angelo. Tis her cousin. Jake respectfully asks whether she was the one who replaced Angelo a few years back. Ava eyes him like a serpent ... Lucas dares EJ to stab him with the letter opener for then Salem will see him for the psycho he is. Sami arrives and pleads for Lucas’ life ... Phil feels comfortable with Gabi personally and professionally. He also believes in Gabi Chic. Gabi argues bringing Jake on board would give them insight to DiMera, their next target. Phil teases her about ulterior motives. Gabi remembers boasting to Jake she will be able to get Phil’s top job but assures Phil that Jake would be an asset. He agrees to think about it ... Ava does not deny temporarily running the Vitali biz but cut ties to do right by her son. It is also best for her relationship with Rafe. Jake asks whether she works anywhere now. No but she was planning to ask pal Nicole for a Basic Black position. Jake speaks her language and she decides to make the call. But when she calls Nicole is not at the office. She decides to go see her at home ... Nicole thanks bff Rafe for the calming tea after hurricane Sami. She feels alone after losing Eric ... EJ and Lucas face off. EJ concludes he is not worth it and warns Sami he is having the butler pack her belongings, after which time she is out of his mansion and lavish life foreva ... Gabi comes home and gives Jake a big kiss. Phil is close to an offer and after they oust him, Titan and the world shall be theirs ... Rafe tenderly tells pal Nicole he is here. She is touched and leans on his shoulder. Enter Ava jealous Vitali ... Sami begs but EJ walks away. Lucas blasts his bad behavior so Sami snaps EJ should have offed him. Lucas reels ... Ciara comes back to the cabin and accuses Ben of tampering with the car. He denies it, stands up, and suggests she was destined to stay here and remember their love.
