Phillip cannot believe Belle actually proposed. He sighs in his bed and reminds her of her flip-flopping. He feels she is not being true to herself and replies with a resounding NO. Belle protests but he will not succumb to her sweetness since he believes in the light of day she will want Shawn. He knows how this story ends and doubts it when she says she loves him. He suspects she merely misses her happy life with Shawn. Belle leaves in a huff ... Nicole is doing an internet search of Helena at the pub. Dario joins her, eager to hear the latest. She lets him know her mark might be onto her. He tells her to keep playing him and is pleased she appreciates his pointers. Dario knows a thing or two about the art of the con and claims he needs more details. She brings him up to date on Victor's brother Deimos gaining control of his company and holdings, how she will bring Deimos down by focusing on the fact that she resembles his dead lover. Dario finds it all intriguing and now demands his cut - ten percent of her share from Victor. Nicole negotiates and they settle on 250,000 in cash for his assistance. They shake hands and he warns her not to fall for the mark, as often happens. Nicole insists she hates the man given what he did to Maggie and nervously sips her martini as Dario downs more beer with a sardonic smile ... Deimos is poised to kill Victor with his hand on his mouth. He growls his brother is to blame for the death of his beloved Helena. However, he is now irrelevant so he forgives him. The hand comes off and he leers to roll over and die already. Victor gasps NEVER. Deimos departs and Victor calls in the clan for an emergency meeting. Brady arrives after Justin, and expresses his concern about Nicole trying to play Deimos. Victor scoffs the survivor wanted in of her own accord. Both Brady and Justin agree they need a bigger better bolder plan. Justin has an idea ... Back at the pub, Dario has let Nicole know he intends to snoop around, see what he can find out about Deimos ... Victor has heard Justin's idea, which is unexplained to the viewers, but evidently very dangerous. Justin assures Victor he is up for it and will be careful not to compromise his position as D.A. Brady still has Nicole's safety on the brain. Victor snaps to stay away from Nicole and not blow their new improved plan. She is already making headway with her own mission ... It is morning in Salem. Phillip wakes up in his bed alone, missing Belle ... At the Kiriakis mansion, Deimos reads a note Kate left when she woke up to find him gone. Needless to say she was not pleased ... At the square Chad is trying to play Mr. Mom to Thomas. He has been up all night with the baby and it takes a great deal to get him to stop crying ... At the station all the teens have been let out on bail, except for Jade. Theo sticks up for Ciara to Hope when she lectures her daughter for what she did. Hope knows revenge never ends well ... Claire is haughty with Shawn and Belle and tries to make Belle feel badly about not coming earlier. Belle, however, was busy with legal maneuvers to get them released. Shawn is none too pleased when Claire claims her parents have been fighting again and flounces to the car ... Joey gives Kayla a hard time for not telling his father where he was and then insists she bail out Jade. Kayla does better than that - she gets her parents' phone number from an officer to call them herself, much to his horror ... Abe wants a word with Theo. He suggests he stay away from Ciara since she needs to overcome her problems while he deals with his own hardships. Theo blows up he would not want him to be with anyone and bolts ... Kayla is now in her office with Joey, who is bothered by her telling Jade's family about her arrest. They are always mean to her! Kayla excuses herself with Dr. Fynn to make her hospital rounds. Joey texts his girlfriend ... At the pub, Claire continues to treat Belle like a bad mother. Shawn defends her and both her parents agree she needs to take responsibility for her actions. Claire ignores them and looks at her phone. She gets giddy reading the reviews of her youtube song, which has thousands of fans, some of whom feel her arrest made her edgy ... At home, Hope tries to warn Ciara of the dangers of revenge but Ciara refuses to be a victim ever again. Hope reminds her she needs help and has not attended a single session she scheduled with Marlena. Belligerent Ciara bolts. Theo joins her at the park and updates her on his father wanting him to stop seeing her. He boasts he refused to listen. He feels she is fine. Ciara sighs she is in a negative way and Abe is probably right ... Claire ignores her parents' protests and takes off to tell Ciara about her youtube success. Shawn starts to laugh he was actually impressed how she stood by bff Ciara the same way Belle stood by Chloe once upon a time. They agree to be a parenting team and giggle about the good old days, when Shawn crashed a wedding by riding his motorbike through a window. Outside the pub, Phillip peers through the window and woefully watches. By the time Belle blinks, he is gone. Belle gets back to smiling and speaking close to Shawn. Feels like old times ... At the hospital, Kayla is somewhat surprised when Dr. Fynn invites her out for dinner. She gasps she is not ready to go on dates. He stammers it would simply be a meal with a friend instead of dining alone. Kayla accepts, unaware that Joey saw them and stepped into the elevator before she had noticed ... Chad is baffled when babysitter Ciara comes to the mansion a few hours early. She picks up crying Thomas, who relaxes in her arms and smiles. Ciara is sorry to hear Abigail must stay in a hospital. She admits she was looking for full time hours. Chad wonders about school. She states she will drop out and work full time with a place of her own. Chad gathers Hope has no idea of her daughter's bold plans and points out he cannot agree. She states then she will find full time work elsewhere. Chad stops her and offers her a raise with the condition that she keep attending school until she graduates. Ciara smiles ... Kayla heads to her office to continue her conversation with Joey. However, Joey is presently at the park with Jade, who cries on his shoulder about her folks forcing her to go work on her uncle's farm in Florida. Joey holds her tight and decides the time has come to run away to L.A. together TODAY! THE END |
