There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Rafe has popcorn and soda for Hope as they decide to watch some 1980s movies like Lethal Weapon. Rafe likes hearing her laugh as does she ... Joey and Jade are texting like unhappy teens from their home bedrooms ... At DiMera mansion Jen and JJ confer with Chad. The baby is asleep. Jen wonders how Abigail fares. In fact Abigail is in a facility bed. She huddles and tries to ignore the moans that permeate her beautiful bothered mind ... Hope and Rafe munch popcorn and she pauses the movie. They agree it was enough and he asks to see her high school yearbook, amid her protests. He says WOW gorgeous. She complains her hair was too big. He teases like Texas and admits he had a mullet. She finds out he had no funds for his yearbook. He makes a bet to see her picture and lists all the "most" things she was. He grins he wins and opens the yearbook again. Hope giggles as he admires her younger days ... Joey asks about Jade's parents. They seem to be asleep and she invites him over through her bedroom window. He is on his way and opens his own window ... Chad sadly states it was tough for him and also Abi to leave her there. She was silent until they arrived. He flashes back as he tells the story. They were at the hospital waiting and she was worried. She decided she wanted to go home but he reminded her she promised to get help for all of them. Abi gasped she was wrong. The nurse informed them the doctor had an emergency. Chad gave her a dark DiMera stare and suggested she get the doctor now. Back to the present. Chad laments he had to lock up the woman he loves. His heart is breaking. Jen and JJ are extremely uneasy ... Rafe keeps admiring how Hope was on every page and teases her. She responds with smiles and threatens to get his yearbook. He replies he was hardly in it. Hope is sure all the girls thought he was hot. He confesses he was skinny and unstylish. Only Sister Agnes noticed and helped him. Hope gives him an impulsive kiss as tender music plays. Then she raises an eyebrow and he murmurs mmm ... JJ supports Chad as he knew he had to do it. Jen has questions. Back to the past. Chad complains to the doctor about Abi seeming to change her mind. Abi looks at him with her tragic doe eyes and clasps his hands. She loves him. He knows. She tells him if he loves her he will not put her through this pain. He whispers to stop and now cries to Jen and JJ he tried to tell her he left her cos he loves her. It broke his heart. He adds he had hoped they could try therapy with Marlena again. Jen emotionally agrees they need to try again. Chad gives her a woeful look with his blue eyes as if all is lost ... Joey enters Jade's window and they start making out ... Chad is sympathetic toward Jen and confesses he too had doubts until ... Back to the past, Abigail imagines seeing Ben as a patient. She hyperventilates she wants to go home. Chad points out Ben is locked in prison. The doctor assures her the visions will leave once she is better. Chad agrees. Abigail stands in stunned silence. Chad promises when better she will be able to come home to him. She weeps as he wants her to sign herself in. Then she feebly accepts the pen and signs. Such a sad little heroine. She tells him she did it for Thomas and cries in his arms. Back to the present. Chad praises her for her strength. Dr Robinson feels with all their support she will come back to them. He now lifts up his complaining son and promises the mommy he misses will be home soon. Jen stands at JJ's side and sniffles. She hates feeling helpless ... Rafe shuts the yearbook and kisses Hope again on the sofa. The TV interrupts and they discuss their next movie. Beverly Hills Cop ... Jade and Joey get hot and heavy by the bed. He admits this is his first time. She now tells him it is her first time too ... Jen wants Thomas for tonight but Chad would rather stay with his son, even if that means he will stay awake soothing him. Exit Jen and JJ ... Abigail sits up in her facility bed and looks around. The drawers are all empty. The door is locked and she calls out to give her her phone so she can call her husband. Two employees enter and suggest she sleep. Abigail gets angry and demands her rights. She gets louder then suggests they call Mr. DiMera. They decide on a sedative instead and the nurse steps away to speak to Dr. Robinson. Abigail gets even more upset as the big orderly remains at the door, blocking any escape ... Joey assumed Jade was not a virgin. She kisses him again and admits her so-called ex was really only a friend. She is glad she waited. He gushes him too. Then they smile and slowly become one ... Hope and Rafe giggle at Beverly Hills Cop. They act like a comfortable couple and he kisses her on the lips again for a loooooong time ... Chad puts the baby back in his bassinet to sleep and whispers sweet dreams. The baby makes noise for his mommy. Chad remembers when Abigail's room was ready. Parting was such sorrow and he promised to visit, then she could come home soon. She cried not to make her go and clutched him. Then the nurse had escorted her away as she cried she loved him. Chad wept and blew a kiss to the broken girl he loves so deeply. Then he had broken down ... Back to the present. The baby is still making sounds as he turns off the light and sits alone in the darkness. Then there is silence - a silence filled with sorrow ... Abigail is asleep in her room. All of a sudden Ben walks inside! GUESS WHO he taunts. She turns around and gasps Ben. He grins he has a room down the hall. She whispers he was not in jail. Ben boasts he wanted to be near her. She wonders why he is dressed like that. He tells her he had to put this on and tells the terrified girl he is real. Then he takes out a red necktie and calls her a waste of space who does not love him back. The others died in vain. Therefore, she must PAY by becoming his last victim! He grasps the tie in both hands and she wakes up with a start. It was a nightmare. She tries to scream but has no voice and sits up with a whimper ... CONCLUSION Hope lets Rafe know how grateful she is that Bo chose him to look after her. She calls him the right guy and then he kisses her. A romantic song plays about dreams becoming reality. They get closer on that couch ... as Jade and Joey keep going. The singer sings about heaven and being lost in love. Joey and Jade take it slow. He admits he has no protection. She has some as she already knew today would be the day. They fall on the bed as the song ends ... In the dark DiMera mansion, Chad holds his sad little son and sits. He watches Thomas through his tears of torment ... Abigail gasps for help and looks out the window that is her locked door. She cries Ben will come for her now, she will never be safe and huddles in horror. The image of Ben was not real but the fear she feels is CHILLING. THE END! |
