At the square JJ and Paige soap stare at their angry mothers. Paige wants to know the nature of the argument ... At the club Zan laughingly lets Eric know he had a troubled past as a youth but that was then, this is now ...Serena slips the diamonds into her purse and smiles sweetly at Nicole, her hands behind her back. Nicole eyes her with suspicion. She accuses her of snooping! Serena tells her tall tale about needing her book back. Nicole wants to see what she has behind her back in her hand. Serena smiles sweetly and shows her phone. Nicole knows she was hiding something last night when she showed up with Zander and she is hiding something now ... In Italy Kristen claims to be surprised about Brady having a baby ... Jen declares their disagreement was about dinner. Paige is perplexed. Eve explains she is not ready for them all to sit down and break bread together. Pretty Paige woefully wonders whyyyyyyy. Eve admits she is not keen on JJ and alludes to discussing the reason. She antagonizes JJ by asking what he thinks ... Mandrake is in the baby's secret room and wonders where oh where Ms. DiMera is. He assumed she merely stepped out to get a drink ... Kristen pretends to be perturbed that Brady must have had a baby with Theresa the terrible and even more perturbed that he actually believes she took the child,hence his sudden appearance and accusation ... Brady bellows he KNOWS she did it ...! At the popular club, Dan apologizes and excuses himself from Zander to mama Maggie. Zander explains to Eric how Victor was his salvation, getting him out of scrapes with the law, leading him on the right path. The former father finds it unlikely Victor could lead anyone down the right path, however, and makes a snide remark ....Dan now knows from Maggie that she let Serena into his apartment for a book. When he gets a text from Nicole telling him she decided to come to his place first, he hopes the two women do not run into one another and gets going in a hurry ... Paige pulls her mother aside, upset she is not fulfilling her previous promise of giving JJ another chance. Meanwhile Jen answers JJ's anxious confusion by stating they can speak later. JJ gets a bad feeling ... Paige admits she and JJ will be spending some time together. Eve knows they slept together and dares her daughter to admit it. Done ... At the foot of Mount DiMera, Mel finds out the nurse she stopped for directions was just at the castle, where she saw the rude mistress of the manor, a man, but no baby. Now alone, Mel wonders what her next move should be. Brady just might be able to tackle Kristen better without her being in the way ... Kristen accuses Brady of mocking her inability to bear a baby. He accuses her of finding out Theresa was with his child and having the embryo stolen ... Kristen counters he must be doing drugs again and offers to call Maggie so Victor can come and pick him up. She cleverly acts concerned ... Paige reveals she is on protection, tells her mother to accept she is an adult, and goes back to JJ. Jen advises the kids to let her handle Eve ... Jen now approaches Eve and softly suggests she come to her house so that they may speak ... At the club, Zander cannot help but notice how warm Victor is with Dan, when he enters and declares he wants to schedule a game of golf with his favorite godson. Zander is on a call but watches ... Serena starts to go but Nicole refuses to let her get away and gets rather rough ...Brady rages the proof was in the plasma, cos Theresa was with child! Kristen replies then she must have miscarried ... Brady growls he knows Kristen had help getting the embryo implanted, courtesy of the mysterious Dr. Mandrake ... Kristen dismisses the notion for she would have no reason to want the baby of hateful Theresa. Brady points out that would be half his baby, hence her motive. Kristen gets sarcastic about his super ego. Brady demands to have a look around the rooms. Kristen plays along and adds if he finds nothing, he can never return. That is her condition ...! At Horton house, Jen wants Eve to admit this is really about what SHE wants, which is Jen's son ... JJ and Paige head to their hotel room. They emotionally embrace and JJ makes her promise her mom will never come between them ... Jen reminds Eve of her painful past, how she was forced into prostitution at a tender age. Eve appears vulnerable but refuses to admit the past is still influencing her present. Jen urges her to deal with the issue before it destroys her and her daughter. Eve gets emotional about those tragic times, then tells Jen to never tell Paige about it. Jen promises. Eve hisses she hates her and takes off ... Dan steps between Nicole and Serena and believes Serena's book story over Nicole's snooping accusation. Serena smugly leaves with her diamonds stuffed in her purse ... Nicole feels betrayed by Dan, who feels betrayed by her going after Eric's girlfriend again! They quiet down and he suggests they start over with that lunch. Still furious, Nicole pops in the bathroom to freshen up and Dan finds himself alone in the living room. Just then Jen calls, mysteriously asking to see him when he has time to discuss something she needs help with. He agrees and she swears him to secrecy. He will see her soon. Click. Nicole has returned, realizes he agreed to meet Jen, but Dan refuses to discuss. Nicole storms out and he is unable to stop her ... Mandrake hears Brady and Kristen's voices as she shows him around the castle rooms. He reaches for his gun and slips out via the tunnel that connects the baby's room to the foyer. Ding dong! Mandrake opens the front door to Mel, who realizes who he is and fibs she is the nurse they were expecting. Mandrake mutters to return in an hour. He fails to notice that the door has not closed properly so Mel sees when he slips back into the secret passage ...Mel says hmmmmmmmm .... Paige is touched when JJ presents her with the same gifts he intended to give her at Christmas when they were broken up. She just loves the bracelet as well as the music box. The music box, however, plays a tragic tune ... Zander tries to impress Maggie and Victor at the club and hopes for that family dinner soon. The Greek admits he forgot and airily adds he will get something together after Brady gets home. Eric blinks and asks where his brother went. Victor smoothly states he is overseas on Titan business and steps out to call him. Zander the needy nephew follows him out, wanting to get into that profit he intends to have for him by tonight. The Greek grumbles not tonight and he really must talk to Brady. Then he leaves without looking back ... Kristen has escorted Brady around her castle, to see the rooms - the visible ones that is. She hisses there was no baby anywhere and he did agree never to come back so GET OUT! ... Back in Salem, Maggie discusses Eric's tense demeanor with her darling husband. It is her hope that one day he will be able to forgive him for what happened at the wedding ... Zander has a rendezvous at the pub with Serena, gleeful when she gives him the sparkling diamonds. He smiles he still needs to have them checked. Serena's face falls as she realizes he intends to remain in Salem ... JJ and Paige slowly make love in their romantic hotel room ...Alone at her apartment, Eve sadly picks up the pieces of Paige's broken picture. She then HALLUCINATES that JJ is present, assuring her everything will be alright. Eve is losing her grip on reality ... Brady is standing outside, watching the windows of the castle with his binoculars. He informs Victor via long distance that he had contact with Kristen and has everything covered ... After their communication, the Greek gets on the phone to order a team of his own in place at the DiMera castle right away ... Kristen and Mandrake are standing by the window. She muses Brady must be watching and Victor might be sending in the cavalry but Brady has no more than some pieces of the puzzle. Mandrake informs her the nurse came by. Kristen's eyes narrow and she asks for a description. Petite American redhead ... Mel is on the move! She slips silently into the baby's room and leans down to see him in his crib. He peers up at her with eyes like Brady. Mel anxiously looks around ... Now what?! THE END Ahead on Days Kristen has a gun! Mel and Brady get their explanation. Will and Sonny deal with family. |
