She gushes until she hears he is headed to Statesville ... At Claire’s place, she politely points out to Theo that Ben and Ciara need space. Theo reveals Ciara is leaving town ... Baffled Ben wonders whether Hope was located, hence Ciara’s travel plans. Negative. She defiantly declares she is going with Theo ... Stylish spring Kate meets Jake for a drink at the square. He has her martini waiting and she senses something ... Stylish Gabi waltzes into Basic Black to inform Chloe that the warehouse non-lease is hereby terminated. Chloe will talk to Philip, who was letting them use it as a favor. Haughty Gabi decides to deal directly with Brady ... Drums play as Brady drops a bombshell on Kristen. Vivian has summoned him ... Claire cannot believe Theo invited Ciara along, but he insists it was Ciara’s idea ... Ben is shocked. Ciara looks forward to being in South Africa for a new beginning. Ben wonders why with Theo. She praises him and notes he never offed anyone ... Jake admits he was bothered by the sight of Gabi on Philip’s arm ... Chloe explains Brady is working remotely but will give him Gabi’s warehouse message. The Gabi marches out ... Fake Susan probes. Brady has no idea what Viv wants today and picks up his keys. Susan promises to be back after her brief doc appointment and bolts ... Lucas does not want to be anybody’s boy toy and tells off Sami, who points the finger at him for their fling. - Lucas and Sami argue about who made the first move. She complains Kristen could ruin her life. He teases her about her big EJ betrayal, but Sami is desperate to salvage their marriage ... Kristen confronts Vivian at the slammer, who threatens her with immediate exposure ... Chloe visits Brady to update him on Gabi. He will talk to Phillip and take care of it. She changes the topic to the tension she caused and suggests she resign for the good of the company ... Claire exclaims Ciara loves Ben truly madly deeply. When her memory returns so will her love. Theo is willing to take that chance and talks present. Time to pack and move on. Claire wishes he would not leave. He asks her for a hug, and she obliges. She worries he is making the wrong move. He kisses her on the cheek and leaves, still not listening ... Dumbfounded Ben cannot believe Ciara is going away just like that with her friend. She gloats they are more than that. He exclaims they are still married, then realizes Theo and Ciara are not really romantically involved. Ciara argues they will see. Meanwhile they are going away together! - Fashionista Kate fears Jake would rather be with Gabi and this is a breakup drink. He denies it but wanted to come clean about his twinge of jealousy ... Viv makes fun of Kristen’s Chloe complaints. Kristen begs for a little longer. Things are slowly falling into place ... Lucas thinks Sami is being selfish. He cannot hurt kind Chloe. Besides, she likes Brady. Sami warns if they do not get Chloe away from Brady, Kristen could go after her. Lucas is listening ... Chloe sighs Brady’s absence from the office is bad for biz. She should not have made him uncomfortable and is sorry she misread his interest. Brady sighs she was spot on cos he does return her feelings! - Ben reasons Ciara is still recovering. He came to suggest a step back and offer her space. He begs her to stay in Salem. Before Ciara can respond Theo arrives, appalled to see him back in her room ... Kate appreciates Jake’s candor. He has another confession. He wants to whisk her away for a romantic getaway. Kate is intrigued and talks private island. The DiMera CEO is smug he can have his own schedule and suggests he ask Tony to temporarily take over. When he mentions the sun and sand, Kate smiles at the possibilities ... Vivian will only discuss the plan to get beech Kate away from her Jacob and wonders what Kristen has. Kristen suggests she herself seduce him. Viv believes Kristen would be as bad as Kate for her precious son. She threatens exposure so Kristen warns what befell her last enemy ... Chloe is stunned. Brady admits he was in denial for a long time ... Sami points out Lucas would be protecting Chloe from the wrath of Kristen if he wooed her away from Brady. Lucas reluctantly agrees but he hates faking feelings. Sami tells him not to. He sighs he does not love the girl. Sami reminds him they were wed once, almost made it a second time, and spins the positive side ... Chloe asks if they have a chance. Alas Brady takes his commitment to wait for Kristen seriously. Chloe understands and suggests she quit. Brady does not want to lose her friendship. She feels the same way and they agree to keep working together. He promises to make it to the office tomorrow morning. Today, however, he must head to Statesville ... Kristen does not call Sarah by name but reveals she made someone disappear to a deserted island forever. Vicious Viv orders her to do what she must to remove Kate from Jake’s picture. She could even do that. Agreed ... - Kate purrs the private island with Jake would be purrrfect. He sends her to the mansion to pack and teases she will not need to wear much. They kiss and she will see him at the mansion sooooon ... Ciara assures Theo it is alright. She told Ben about their South African trip and he was about to go. Ben tells Theo tis a terrible idea. Theo asks if he is threatening him. He is not. He warns the girl he loves she can run far but she will still be his wife. Always. He walks out as a tear trickles down her face ... Jake drinks to forgetting about Gabi, then turns around. Speak of the designer devil ... Chloe weeps alone on her bed, realizing she must get over Brady somehow. Lucas shows up at her door ... Brady gets another call from Viv, who tells him no need to come cos she spoke to Kristen and all is well ... Kate is deciding what to take on her romantic trip when Susan spooks her at the mansion.
