These are my words. There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Lonely guy Steve plops down his bag and sits at a desk. He smoothly plays a sad blues song on his harmonica and stares at the photos of happier times with Kayla ... Fynn has Kayla in a hospital bed and updates her on the latest cat scan. There has been no change in her condition. She makes light of it and insists she has been feeling fine. The fainting was a one-off. He warns her next time she might not be as lucky. Kayla turns down the notion of surgery, promises she is taking her medication, and he decides to add something new to prevent any further fainting ... At the Kiriakis mansion Nicole holds her head high and plays it cool with dangerous Deimos. She yearns to know more of this woman she looks like, the woman both Deimos and Victor loved. He scowls Victor's love was not real, he merely romanced Helena as her family had money and connections. He admits he first courted her to get her away from Victor to prove a point but then fell head over heels in love with the dark-haired beauty for real. Nicole wonders why she did not end her engagement with Victor. He sighs she was scared of her father's reaction and even more scared of Victor, who was VIOLENT. He thinks Nicole knows what he means ...Hope meets Rafe at the pub.The upset widow updates him on Deimos not denying he was responsible for Bo. Rafe is disgusted he led to his death. Hope notes there is no such thing as the perfect crime.Therefore, there must be a way to prove Deimos' guilt ... Ciara and excited Claire shop the square for their prom. Claire exclaims it is earth day and decides they need to buy recycling bins ... Deimos laments he wanted Helena to run away with him but his worst nightmare came true. Victor confronted her and she tried to flee, only to fall to her death. But Victor set him up so he in essence destroyed the woman he loved as well as his whole life. Nicole takes it all in and acts sympathetic, referring to Victor locking her away during their mistake of a marriage. Deimos is aware she tried to kill him as well ... Rafe suspects someone like Deimos is not going to slip up. Hope suggests she focus on her friendly mystery caller. She thanks Rafe for standing by her .... The teens are decorating the Edge for prom night. Theo gets excited about what flower to get for Ciara's corsage. Anything will do. He steps out back and Ciara stops smiling. Claire urges her to be more upbeat. After all,it is prom time ... Jade and Joey are at the dark park deciding on their destination. She convinces the lost lad that L.A. is the way to go and adds they could crash at her aunt's place out in the desert. It all sounds very fishy but Joey does not notice as she flirts up a storm and states they would teach their folks a lesson. He hates buses and concludes he can take the motorbike his dad gave him. They head to the house in glee to find the keys ... A nurse rushes in with news of an accident. Kayla states she must manage when Fynn cautions her to stay in bed. They both end up helping the victims ... Steve is still feeling blue when he heads to the pub for a drink ... Mark a fellow student approaches Ciara and asks her on a date. He is a handsome high schooler who just broke up with his boring girlfriend. She turns him down and tells him she is dating Theo. He calls Theo a loser with problems. Ciara snaps he is the greatest guy. Theo has overhead as he returns. He thanks Ciara and they kiss in bliss. Henry cannot help but admire the happy couple ... Back at the pub, Hope and Rafe are discussing how she found Deimos with Nicole of all people. Steve greets them and they mull over how Victor lost everything to Deimos. Steve offers to buy drinks. Hope says no alcohol for them but Steve drowns his sorrows in a beer ... Deimos gets choked up. Nicole asks what his Helena was like. Beautiful inside and out like a light. He adds she had a wicked sense of humor and his mind wanders back to a happy picnic, how she laughed and flirted with him ...Back to reality. He admits seeing Nicole reminds him of her and it makes him happy. Nicole excuses herself and thanks him for the chat. He slyly wonders how much Victor is paying her. She quips he did approach her but she turned him down. She no longer takes orders from the man she loathes. The only reason she saved him was for Maggie ... Joey has found the motorcycle keys his father hid from him. Jade wants to make out on the couch here before they ride away ... Meanwhile friendly Fynn insists on seeing Kayla home. They will walk to the house together ... Rafe and Hope are having some laughs. When Rafe steps away for a call, Steve lets Hope know he supports her if she wants to find love with Rafe. He knows that Bo would approve. He laments he lost Kayla due to the danger he brought to their son's life ... CONCLUSION: Nicole informs Deimos she just yearned to know more about this woman Helena who she resembles. He remains suspicious. She gracefully walks out and pauses at the door to cast him one last seductive look ... Hope hopes Steve and Kayla will find their way back together. Steve is not giving up without a fight ... Kayla and Fynn walk through the front door, only to get an eyeful of shirtless Joey making out with wild child Jade on the couch. Joey acts like it is no big deal. Kayla kicks Jade out, telling her to go home. Mother and son argue over whether she is a bad influence. Fynn has discreetly departed ... Rafe and Hope are at Horton house. He is helping her move boxes to her car as tonight she and Ciara are moving home. Hope giggles and gets Ciara's new selfie stick ready. She takes a picture of their smiling faces together. She agrees to a date with Rafe post prom, where she will be helping ... Back at the Edge Henry teases pal Claire that when she becomes a famous singer he can do her publicity. The teens continue to bring things into the club to decorate. For a brief moment Mark and Ciara end up alone. He growls she could do better than Theo and grabs her in a kiss. She screams to get away from her ... Steve spies Fynn at the pub and asks how Kayla fares, What can he do? Fynn coldly states he can stay away from her and stop giving her stress. Steve is stunned by his words. Fynn now makes a friendly call to Kayla to check on her. He will see her again tomorrow ... Sulking Joey texts Jade a sorry text from his bedroom. She does not mind waiting until tomorrow to take off ... Kayla woefully stands at the mantle soap staring at a framed photo of her, Steve and Joey in happier times. Steve silently appears at the open door and then steps away so she cannot see him. He seems to be crying ... Theo comes charging into the Edge like a raging bull. He goes all DiMera on Mark and slugs him. Mark falls to the floor. Ciara tells Theo to stop. But Theo does not stop. Stefano's grandson shows no mercy. He proceeds to beat the punk to a pulp ...
