Tuesday April 15, 2014 Episode 12,317 - Raging bull Daniel Jonas has steam coming from his ears as he stands up to go and confront Theresa the terrible Donovan, whom he deduces drugged him. Jennifer implores him to wait for there is no proof against Theresa or Anne. Then who did it, snaps the raging doc. Jen fears a showdown with Theresa would merely make things worse. He snaps for whom! Jen reasons he could get himself charged with harassment or worse. And things always get worse when Theresa is involved. The mad medicine man, however, refuses to play the role of the passive patsy. - Nicole has confronted Liam at the park for being at Dan's apartment and lying to her about it! He flashes back to mixing the drugged protein drink and demands to know what she is trying to say. He claims he got off on the wrong floor and was waiting for the elevator. Nicole doubts that. He plays innocent and tries to smooth talk his way out, pretending he had left his wallet at the lady doctor's place. Nicole intends to check his story out and says so. Liam asks her not to speak to the lady about it as she is already in a relationship. Nicole offers to keep what she tells her between them. Liam aggressively objects as it is not her concern. She smirks Dan her friend is her concern but he need not worry as long as his alibi checks out! Liam tells her to wait. - At DiMera mansion, stressed Sami has poured herself a much needed drink. She and EJ have got to stop Nick! EJ peers and wonders wot exactly she said to Gabi. Sami gulps and admits she said she was an unfit mother. EJ bites his lip and rolls his eyes in sheer exasperation. Why! Sami exclaims she lied and was with that psycho when the baby was in the next room. EJ now understands now why the girl reacted the way she did. - At the apartment, packed impulsive Gabi repeats that she and Ari are leaving. Will insists she cannot go but she insists she cannot stay after what happened today. She will go to a hotel until they find a permanent place. Will observes her with his steely blue eyes and concludes that permanent place is with Nick! He suspects Nick has been bashing him and Sonny again. Gabi states that is not the case. This is all because of upset Sami, who called her a lying bitch, unfit to raise her daughter. Will corrects her she is THEIR daughter. Gabi points out she is not Sami's. Will wants to make things right. Gabi laments it is too late. Will assures her that even though he has a differing view, it is of course her choice if she wishes to be with Nick. Gabi calls that a start, though not quite enough to keep her here ... - Outside the pub, in the alley, Rafe is about to rough up Nick for not staying away from his sister. Nick boasts she waaaaaanted him. Rafe snaps and punches him in the face. Nick goes down! He then stands up, plays it is as princely as possible and woefully informs Rafe he cannot fight what he and Gabi feeeeeel for each other. He cannot keep them apart and says so with his now bloodied lip. Rafe calls him sick. Nick notes he and Gabi even survived Jensen. Rafe cannot control Gabi any more than he could control his other sister Arianna, who died tragically. He suspects Rafe thinks he did not do a good job but he will not succeed in smothering Gabi. Rafe scoffs, not interested in his head games and warns he will not let Nick brainwash his sister into believing she needs him. Nick stares as ominous music plays - the kind that warns of a clear and present danger. He calmly states if Rafe causes trouble for him, then he will really just be destroying the life of his sister and others as well. Rafe thinks that is an empty threat. Nick promises not to press charges this time. Rafe grabs him, then thinks better of it, and lets him walk away. He now texts Sami cos he needs to know what the hell is really going on. Nick was talking in circles ... - EJ holds Samantha on his lap and patiently points out they cannot control Gabriella's life. She gets mad about trying to help the dumb girl and getting blackmailed by the creep she then jumped in bed with. EJ explains there is nothing they can do. Sami loudly disagrees, stands up, and states she wants him gone. There are ways! EJ tells her to look him in the eye. They have had this discussion before. Is she actually telling him that she wants one Nicholas Fallon DEAD? Sami stammers to her DiMera fiancé that she just wants him gone and suggests EJ speak with Stefano, to move him far away, maybe to one of his islands. EJ thinks it would be unwise to end up owing fatha any kind of favor. When he learns that Rafe knows the recent drama as he was at the apartment, he gets miffed. Sami reads the text from Rafe, who wants to meet to discuss the Nick matter. EJ insists she stay and he be the one to speak with Rafe. Sami suspects he thinks she cannot keep her big mouth shut. He gives her a kiss and she realizes he is probably right, then adds Rafe is at the pub as EJ saunters out. - Will wonders what he can do. Gabi gasps she cannot deal with Sami again. Will promises to ban her from the premises and also get the spare key she has. He begs Gabi to stay until he gets back. Gabi will wait, but if Sami comes back and attacks again, she is gone. Exit Will. Gabi now calls Nick, to forewarn him that Rafe is on the warpath. He knows and fibs he is fine, failing to mention his bloodied lip. How about they talk tomorrow? He then sighs in the tranquil park, where he is relaxing. Gabi, knowing Nick is at the park, goes with the baby stroller to see him. - Dan cannot let Theresa win! Jen doubts he can defeat her. Dan drawls he is her weakness and will therefore be able to push her buttons and make her incriminate herself. Jen reminds him someone else could be hurt in the process. Dan realizes what she means and is sorry. He had forgotten about the JJ factor. - Liam acts indignant that Nicole is adamant about zeroing in on him. She is an investigative reporter and can see him sweating. He gasps he hardly knows Jonas. She points out Jen left him for the good doctor. Liam warns her she might be the one who kisses her career goodbye if she keeps on going with this. Nicole leers they shall see and starts to go ... until Liam throws out the name CHYKA. Nicole freezes in her tracks. Now he has her full attention. - Back at the mansion Sami, is making notes when an irate visitor arrives, Tis Will, son in black. He accuses her of going after the mother of his baby, almost costing him his daughter. It is UNACCEPTABLE! - Rafe downs a shot at the pub and wonders where oh where Sami is. EJ drawls she sent him in her place and grins he heard he went after Nick. But by doing so, he gave him what he wanted. He elaborates as much as he feels he can. Nick wants to play the victim. Rafe laments his sister is the victim. EJ sits at his table and explains they have no choice but to leave Nick alone. Rafe realizes he is referring to more than one person. - Gabi approaches Nick at the park and calls her brother a Neanderthal for the bloodied lip he gave him. Nick acts like he understands though he does not wish to cause problems in her family, including Will and Sami. He feebly explains he wanted to belong in Salem and did his very best. However, he no longer thinks he will be accepted by the people of this town, given how they have been acting. - Dan drawls the last thing they need is for Theresa to retaliate against JJ. Jen blames herself. If he had never loved her, they would not be in this predicament! - Nicole wants to know what Liam means. He recounts her close call with danger at the cabin, which was on the news and on the lips of many in town. He had pretty much forgotten about it. Then he caught the star reporter dumping evidence by the roadside. It was no ordinary rubbish. She denies it. Liam leers he knows for a fact she was shredding and then burning documents connected to the infamous Dr. Chyka and Kristen DiMera! Nicole glares at him and snaps she was not. He snaps back yes she was, a glint in his wicked eye. - Rafe gets sarcastic about EJ's unsolicited advice he neither wants nor needs. He can look out for his sister. EJ questions that and suggests he not push this matter any further. He is not threatening him, he is merely advising him not to interfere in the matter of Nick Fallon. The situation could get more dangerous. Rafe notes Nick alluded to the same scenario. EJ assures him they are not working together, he merely does not want to see his family torn apart. Rafe peers at him and concludes he means torn apart by Nick. EJ confirms it. - Will lays down the new ground rules to Sami, who screams she will not let Gabi keep her away from her first grandchild. Will assures her he can still bring the baby to see her. Sami cannot believe Will actually accepts her sleeping with Nick at their place. Will righteously reminds her she called her an unfit mother and requests the key to the apartment as well. Sami looks as though she has been slapped across the face. - Gabi dabs at Nick's swollen lip and she assures him that Will and Sonny are at least trying. Nick is surprised to hear that Will threw Sami out and also agreed to keep her out of their place in the future. Gabi explains it was after she threatened to take Ari and move out. Nick disagrees and tells her she cannot move out! She is surprised by his extreme reaction. Nick claims he wants her to stay with Will and Sonny, for that would be putting Arianna first. Gabi wishes they could hear him now. She hopes Will is going to realize how great Nick is. Nick claims he wants them all to be friends again but acts like his swollen lips hurts when she brings up her brother. - Dan places his arm around Jen's waist as they cuddle on the couch together and murmurs she is not to blame for any of this! He holds her close as she rests her head on his chest. Jen suddenly decides there is something she has to do and jumps up. - Liam has just gotten started ... He leers he managed to get one of the shredded documents before Nicole came back to burn them. He holds up his cell phone with a photograph of the damning document he pieced together like a puzzle. What would her priest fiance Eric think if he discovered she had destroyed the only shred of evidence in existence that could exonerate him? Nicole is horrified. He hisses he is keeping this and using it against her. The star reporter cringes, a force to be reckoned with no more. - Rafe wants answers. EJ thinks he would be better off not knowing any more. Rafe wonders whether there is a legal agreement. No and there is much more to the situation than that. Rafe urges him to share what his sister did this time ... - Jen is ready to take out a press release ahead of anyone else, as a preemptive damage control strike. Dan gets it. She still believes the truth will come out and clear his name. He agrees and also agrees to steer clear of Theresa. Jen thanks him and vows to never let that girl hurt him again. They kiss and she goes, reminding him to stay put. But Dan is enraged. He slams a chair. - Liam taunts Nicole for having a crazy theory about him drugging Daniel Jonas, for he could never hurt the good doctor, just as she could never hurt the priest of her dreams. In a nutshell, they both need to forget about it. He warns she only has a theory, whereas he happens to have concrete evidence, taunts her not to tempt fate, and walks off. Nicole fights back tears of fear and frustration. - Will has his hand outstretched, waiting for the spare key. Sullen Sami gets it from her bag, and grudgingly hands it over. Will thanks her. She accuses him of choosing Gabi over his own mother. Will woefully explains he is choosing his daughter, just as she would. And then he goes. - EJ explains he is unable to take Rafe into his confidence as he happens to be a detective. Gabi is not entirely innocent, though there is a certain complexity to the situation. That is all he is at liberty to say. Rafe gets sarcastic about trusting him. EJ urges him to realize he is protecting the people he cares about and warns him not to go after or provoke Nick again. Rafe gets sarcastic about doing nothing. EJ thinks that there IS something he can do. He solemnly advises him to pray that Nick really has changed, for his sisters's sake. Rafe stands up and saunters off with a scowl. - The baby cries and Gabi searches for a bottle. Nick suggests she get going and apologizes for any trouble he may have caused. She gushes he did not cause any of it, tenderly touches his face, and then leaves with the stroller. Nick stares into space and blinks. Percy was right. The plan is working beautifully ... - Jen is at her PR office computer, struggling with the right words for Dan's press release, desperate to make him sound innocent. It is not as easy as she had hoped. She sniffles and Liam places a reassuring hand on her shoulder. - Dan has just gotten off the phone with Marlena when there is frantic knocking on his door. Tis tormented Nicole, who dramatically declares she has to help him no matter what! Dan wonders what in the world has his faithful friend so wound up ...!
