At the hospital hissy fit Theresa blasts Mel for bumping her and wishes she would stay the hell away from her. Mel cannot cos they have a problem ...Adrienne thanks Abi at the Kiriakis mansion for making her the copy of the amazing article on Jack's book. She finds out Chad gave it to the girl and immediately gets suspicious. But Abigail still seems to believe there is good in the DiMera ... At DiMera mansion, Chad the DiMera in training tells Stefano how impressed he is with the high profit margin he has brought to Venezuela. Father phoenix dismisses the compliment and asks about Abigail, how she likes the article. Chad gushes she loved it, He is grateful his father planted it, even getting a respected writer to pen the piece ... At the club Rafe is ready to pick up food for the benefit soon to be taking place at the town square. Sonny smiles to thank Gabi for the thoughtful anniversary gift. He also asks how his time was with Arianna this morning. The big guy gushes she was great. However, she is a tad affected by the tension he too has sensed between Sonny and Will. He warns him not to make the same mistakes he made with Sydney. Kids always feel the pain of family problems ... Sonny insists he intends to make things right for his family ... Lucas arrives at the apartment in time to overhear Will letting his editor know on the phone he has a hot new scandalous article that could end up on the cover. He will know whether it is a go later tonight. After the call, Lucas exclaims he cannot do it, he cannot expose Paul as a DiMera. Will retorts if Paul leaves town he will have to reason to. They bicker and Will also blasts Adrienne for keeping the secret of Paul and Will's relationship for so many years. This is the first Lucas has heard of it ... In the hotel room, Paul presses his mother to admit how she met Will. She stammers he came to see Sonny but he was not here. Will seemed upset. Paul wants to know why. She flashes back to him blackmailing her over the picture from her past ... Salem helpers gather at the town to set up for the charity benefit. John is proud and pleased to be helping a good cause and even more pleased to be there with Marlena at his side. He and Aiden stand by the balloons and admire their womenfolk making signs. There is not a bad hairstyle in sight ... Abigail assures worried Adrienne she is still with Ben but there are .. problems. Adrienne senses a DiMera and warns the girl they are all the same. Chad, EJ ... Abi has heard enough and excuses herself ... Chad states step one was getting Abi all emotional about his gesture. Step two will be the charity event. Stefano sighs he has an aversion to heroes, namely one JOHN BLACK. Chad is amused but too wrapped up in his own desires to get into old school DiMera stories ... Stefano suggests his "only son" add two zeroes to that fat corporate donation he wants him to make today. Chad appreciates it ... Theresa has no interest in talking to Mel, who explains it is about that guy. Clint. Theresa snaps they are ancient history. Mel knows for she read the note. Theresa fumes and accuses Mel of snooping through her stuff, having no memory of Mel attending to her when she was groggy ... Aiden asks about John and Marlena. The charity organizing hero grins they are good and it is for keeps. Marlena gracefully helps Hope set up in the distance ... Tori exclaims Will wants Paul to stay away from Sonny. Paul assures his mother he is not out to homewreck. His eyes are filled with hurt. He agrees it is best to move on and invites his mother to this last benefit he will attend before bidding goodbye to Salem for good. She would rather stay and finish packing. So be it ... Lucas shows up at the house of Kiriakis. He grimaces to Adrienne he just got enlightened by Will, that she knew all along that Paul and Sonny had a past ...Rafe comes into the square carrying a box of food. He grins to the gang Sonny is on his way as well. When he asks Hope about Aiden, she pretends to think he is awful. Aiden has a good laugh. So do Rafe and Hope. The mood is happy and light. So far ... Sonny arrives and John wonders whether Will and Paul are coming together, given all the time they spent together on that interview ... Will walks up to Sonny, Marlena,and John and explains they will be getting news coverage. Some of the pictures are also going online. John is pumped. The setting up continues. Marlena asks Will for his stopwatch for the races. Busy Willy replies to look in his bag and so she does. But the first thing she sees is not the stopwatch, it is the tablet with the telling cover story exposing Paul as a DIMERA! She gasps to Will it must be a joke. No, it is true! All of a sudden Paul arrives asking Will whether he wanted to speak with him. Will scowls and leaves for the town gate with Marlena to explain in private ... Theresa lets Mel have it for meddling. Mel cannot make her understand. Jorge from the blood bank approaches Theresa for another blood donation, given she has a rare blood type. Theresa rudely turns him down. Mel the nurse sees her opening and follows Jorge back to his office to apologize for Theresa. He sighs he forgot she only gave blood for a surgery that never was. They no longer have the old sample. Mel wonders. Talkative Jorge points out they do have the plasma though ... Abigail is at the club. Chad comes up behind her and flirts like a friend who wants to be more. Abigail appears uncomfortable when he teases he heard how she has been showing the article he gave her around. Hope appears and gives him the evil eye. She asks Abi about Ben. Abi stammers after school he is coming and excuses herself. Hope warns Chad she has her eye on him. Chad is amused ... Adrienne explains she was sworn to secrecy and did nothing wrong by not saying she knew about Paul and Sonny's past. Lucas points out she acted like she had never even heard of the pitcher when he mentioned him! Perhaps if Will had been aware of who he was, there would have been no mistake. Adrienne exclaims there is no excuse for what Will did! An affair is so much more than a mistake! Lucas sits and sighs he was not the best example as a parent. Adrienne understands how he feels, one can only do one's best as a parent. It is not easy. She is sorry she was abrupt about it. He is sorry about Justin leaving her again. She admits she always feels alone even when Justin the confessed cheater is present. One thing leads to another in the moment and the kindred spirits start to kiss madly on the couch ... John is pleased to have Paul ready for the benefit where he is the star attraction. John is definitely a Paul fan ... Aiden asks Sonny whether he has ever met Paul. Paul smiles. Sonny states he has. Rafe watches. He has a bad feeling ... At the town gate, Will updates Marlena on the proof he has that Paul is a DiMera and his mother has lied to him for years. Marlena is dumbfounded and questions the proof he feels is enough. Will also boasts he blackmailed Tori to take Paul out of Salem tonight to avoid the story from being published. Marlena gasps he has no right! She wonders why he is going after Paul. Will rages Paul is going after Sonny. Marlena has heard enough ... Sonny and Paul are standing side by side at the square, helping set up. Aiden bears news. If Paul stayed for a few more days for a baseball clinic for kids, a sponsor would be willing to donate $50,000 to the cause. Sonny smiles he should stay. Paul agrees, for the cause. John is thrilled. Paul now calls Tori, who panics he wants to stay in Salem a few more days ... Mel is at her computer reading about plasmas. She decides this could be done ... Cheery Chad and Abi arrive at the square, where everyone is in the final phase of setting up. John was hoping to have enough time to make a toast in honor of Will and Sonny's anniversary. Chad points out he should propose a toast to Paul for saving Sonny's life. Will comes back holding his tablet. He glares daggers at Paul standing close to Sonny ... Tori sneaks into the square and whispers to Will they need to talk. They head off together. John frowns and follows ... At the park, Tori tells Will that Paul asked for a few extra days. Will bellows this will be online tonight and shows her the article on his tablet. John comes around the corner, his eyes on Tori. "Oh my God!" he exclaims. It IS you ..." The big reveal cometh!
