She takes a deep breath ... At the mansion Tony is a tad miffed Johnny is overprotective of Ava so Anna laughs he has a crush. Meantime EJ warns his son his memorial plan for Jake could make Ava imagine dead people again ... Down in the crypt Ava assumes she is seeing Jake and whispers he is dead. Stefan replies not anymore ... Johnny accuses EJ of being after Ava's shares and suggests Stefano would have cared Jake was family when he turns down his invitation to attend the memorial ... Ava assumes she is imagining Jake again. Stefan suggests she sit and touches her arm. She gasps tis not real, he is not Jake and runs away. Stefan snaps who the hell is Jake ... Kristen demands to know where HE is as Chloe sits up in bed and Brady gets on his robe. Chloe also gets on a robe and they wonder who she was expecting. Kristen remembers sending Stefan to Chloe's Salem Inn room and lies she suspected Chloe was here with Randy the intern cheating on Brady. Chloe wonders what her game really is ... Stefan spies Jake's plaque and concludes he could have been his twin ... Tony believes Johnny and Ava getting close would not bode well for EJ and his son's relationship. Anna disagrees as Johnny appears and praises him for the memorial, which might bring Ava peace. Frazzled Ava comes running and claims she just saw Jake ... - Gabi needs time. Li tries to state his case to the captivating strong beauty. He senses her hesitation ... Anna wants an explanation. Ava insists she came across Jake at his plaque. They spoke this time. She assumes Johnny thinks she is nuts but he gallantly suggests they go check it out together ... Kristen calls Chloe a ho, so Brady orders her out. She coos she will see Brady in court and so ends the odd encounter ... Designer Tony deduces EJ was right. Speak of the DiMera devil, who wants to pay his respects. Anna suggests they not interrupt Ava and Johnny who went ahead down to the crypt. EJ suspiciously wonders for wot and Tony enlightens him on her latest Jake sighting ... Outside the crypt door anxious Ava wants to wait. She admits to Johnny she is worried she imagined Jake. Johnny wants to be her rock. They enter together ... Gabi admits she only wanted an affair but she and Li are the real deal. He agrees. She still has Stefan in her heart but there is enough room for Li as well. She would love to marry him so they kiss in soapy bliss ... Alas Ava and Johnny encounter no one in the crypt. She recounts how Jake wore his favorite suit and touched her arm. But he was unreal! Strange music plays as Johnny notes other DiMera have cheated death ... Li slips on the expensive ring and Gabi loves it. He wants to fly her somewhere special on the DiMera jet. Only after the memorial. They kiss with big plans of consolidating power ... Kristen confronts Rolf down in his secret lab, demanding to know Stefan's whereabouts ... Ava cries if Jake were really alive he would not have let her go. She worries EJ will lock her up if he hears of it and suggests she might belong in Bayview anyway. Johnny believes she is sane. Ava complains about the pressure and runs off. Johnny starts to follow but EJ blocks his path, pretending to be concerned about the demented damsel in distress ... - Kristen demands to know why Stefan did not go to Chloe as ordered. Rolf reminds her t'was too soon as he said. She hisses he might go after Gabi and Rolf will be in big trouble ... Tony and Anna discuss EJ, only to be interrupted by newly engaged Gabi and loverman Li. Tony slyly states tis quite a merger. He is also sorry to say Ava saw Jake down in the crypt again. Johnny returned with her. Li gasps they have got to go to the crypt too ... EJ urges Johnny to accept that Ava is unstable but Johnny suspects him of making mischief so he can swoop in and steal her shares. He wonders whether he wore a Jake mask. EJ gets indignant. Johnny states this was the second Jake sighting. EJ blows up because his son is siding with that woman who was not even really married to Jake! Johnny suspects him of waging a creepy campaign against her. EJ calls him gullible. Johnny hisses to leave Ava alone and storms out. EJ gets more exasperated by the Salem second ... Johnny finds Ava packing her suitcase and tries to stop her from moving back to the garage, where dangerous Kristen is staying. Ava senses her mafia past might be coming back to haunt. Johnny points out tis the past and argues Stefano the DiMera godfather even has a portrait at the mansion. Ava is convinced she is going crazy but her young admirer implores her to stay ... Rolf updates Kristen on a new update from Shin about Ava's Stefan sighting. She rages he was going to Gabi ...! - EJ complains about Johnny to elegant Tony and Anna. He denies any wrongdoing to Gabi. Anna reminds him of the memorial so Tony gets started. They are gathered here to remember Jake, who has now joined Stefan on the other side. Gabi touches his ring which she still wears around her neck. Meanwhile Stefan helps himself to a drink back in the grand DiMera mansion and raises a glass to Stefano's smiling portrait ... Kristen blames Rolf, who reminds her he warned her. Kristen points out if Stefan goes after Gabi, Li will make him pay dearly ... Tony wonders whether anyone invited Kristen. It appears not and EJ blasts Jake's widow for not attending. Tony suggests cocktails and food up at the house. Gabi soap stares at Stefan's plaque. EJ exits, followed by Tony and Anna. Gabi tells her new fiancé she wants a word with the late Stefan to seek his blessing. He understandingly heads to the house ... Johnny wishes Ava would stay and tenderly takes her hands. He wants her around and cares a great deal. They passionately kiss ... EJ is horrified to hear Gabi and Li just got engaged and accuses them of a power play. Tony too. They now notice the empty glass at Stefano's chess set ... Gabi poignantly places Stefan's ring under his plaque. She tells him of her decision to move on though she will always love him.
