Cat blames Clyde for making him panic and worriedly wonders what he plans to say in his impending statement to the parole board. She wants her brother home ... Jen has a happy reunion with JJ, who suggests they make the party for kindergarten Charlotte too. Alas he has an early shift. Julie wants him to have cake first. He agrees ... Unhappy Gwen will not ruin her half brotha's celebration by showing up. Jack can sense she cares ... Outside the pub Steve has Sophia's papers. Tate believes he has some answers now and unhappily returns to his shift. Sophia said she misspoke when she said him not her. But Brady and Steve know better. Steve finds the redacted part strangely convenient. Brady too. And so they will keep digging on the sly. Steve will be in touch ... Sophia apologizes to Tate again. He scoffs he wants space and walks away from her ... Gwen will not go where she is not wanted. Jack is glad to see her and she boasts about her inheritance. He senses her sadness over Dimitri's betrayal and suggests she tried to steal Julie's necklace as she felt the need to lash out. Gwen gets upset he is disappointed again and blasts him for siding with the Hortons instead of his own bloody daughta! Then she stylishly storms off. He sighs he needs to consider the case and excuses himself ... - Brady returns to Tate and asks to hold onto the papers. He wants Belle to take a look. Tate agrees ... Jack comes back to Horton house with the cake. Chad arrives and gives JJ a big hug. Julie takes the necklace she just showed Jen to the safe and wants JJ to come check it out. Jack now mentions Gwen to Chad and wonders why she stayed in Salem ... Cat unpacks her belongings in her new office and then finds EJ's plans for a new hospital wing. The pretty spy quietly closes the door and places it on the desk, snapping photographs for Rafe ... Chad is not aware of Gwen's plans. All he knows is she is crashing at the DiMera mansion, with EJ's approval. JJ comes back and here comes Steve. Jack and Steve share a brotherly hug. Chad suddenly remembers the happiness he had with Cat and looks sad ... Post party Jen and Jack assume Chad has already heard from the parole board about Mark Green's hearing. They sent their statements against his early release. Jen assumes Chad also sent in his and waits for his reply ...
