Leo finds his bloodied hit list beside stabbed Sonny and panics, believing him to be dead ... Blue dress Nicole repeats what she said to Jada. Chloe feels she went too far but Nicole is aghast about her affair with Eric ... Chloe calls her obsessive and adds she is married ... Rafe agrees that Leo is capable of anything. He sure turned on bff Gwen fast. He and Jada both sense Gwen may have told the truth but where did the knife go? ... Leo hears Sonny moan and wants to help him. He cannot implicate him by touching the knife and stands up to call 911. Enter Chad, who sees the scene and automatically assumes he stabbed Sonny ... Justin talks hot tub and Bonnie teases no trunks. They are about to get frisky ... until Alex appears and helps himself to the cheese ... - Steph steps into the pub and Eric gives her a warm embrace. She is sorry he and Nicole broke up ... Nicole claims concern for Eric as a friend. Chloe thinks she is walking on thin ice with her interference. Nicole notes Eric does not have meaningless flings. Chloe reminds her Eric is an adult and she is a newlywed. Nicole decides she wants a background check done on Jada ... Rafe and Jada discuss the missing steak knife. Rafe believes Gwen but Trask wants to fast track her conviction. Jada and Rafe will keep searching. Rafe suggests they mislead Trask into believing they are just looking for more on Gwen. Meanwhile that Leo stark is on the loose ... Chad assumes Leo offed Sonny but Leo denies it and stares in horror, covering his mouth. Chad finds a pulse and covers Sonny with his jacket, begging his buddy to hang on ... Rafe is ready to call it a night and suggests Jada do the same. She and Eric had dinner plans. She wonders whether her seeing his wife's ex could pose an issue. Rafe makes light of Salem connections but then starts to sense something. Jada remembers Nicole's mini interrogation, assuses her boss all is well and wishes him a nice evening ... - Nicole is highly suspicious of Jada. Chloe gets exasperated. Nicole gets upset ... Eric sits with Steph and tells her he is seeing someone. She updates him on her ghosting guy last year and calls the latest guy who is after her a jackass ... Alex gushes to Justin and Bonnie about Stephanie being his dream girl. Alas Sonny wants him to stay away from her as the company has hired her ... Chad shouts to call an ambulance. Leo makes the call and anxiously hopes Sonny is alright. Chad leers if Sonny loses his life he will make sure Leo does too. They wait and Chad accuses him. Leo insists he came to say he was sorry. Chad heard from Gwen he was after them all and warns him he will get the death penalty. Leo takes off ... to check on that ambulance ... - Justin sides with overprotective Sonny, who was wrongly sued by Leo stark in the past. Tis best to be careful with a company employee. Alex gets glum and takes a swig of wine from the bottle. Papa Justin repeats to stay away from the girl but Bonnie thinks not ... Steph asks Eric about the new lady in his life. Jada arrives and the intros are made. Steph remembers her 8th birthday party. Jada also remembers! Steph suggests they get together soon and departs. Eric senses something. Jada wonders about his morning convo with his ex ... Nicole admits to Chloe she did not really tell Eric about her dream. She said he came over to cook and he seemed to buy it but he dreamt of her too. She now wonders whether his dream of her was not really about a singing telegram. Maybe it was more physical. Chloe quips to call him ... Eric explains he did not expect Nicole's friendly drop by. Jada reluctantly informs him of Nicole's unusual interest in their night together ... Outside the Salem Inn Rafe greets Stephanie with a hug. She laughingly remembers his dastardly doppelganger's inappropriate hug and is reminded of Alex ... Bonnie notes Alex is no Leo; he is a good guy who feels he has found his soul mate. She never gave up on Justin and suggests Alex also pursue his soul mate. Alex hugs her. Justin now gets a dire call from Chad about Sonny ... Rafe suddenly gets the call about Sonny's stabbing and tells Steph ... Justin and BONNIE are horrified by the news. Alex goes to get the car ... Chad worriedly watches unconscious Sonny being wheeled out to the waiting ambulance. The stress on Chad's face speaks volumes … Chloe urges Nicole to take it easy and warns Jada works with Rafe. She must make up her mind ... Eric is sorry about the no breakfast this morning and offers to prepare Jada a dinner. She accepts but then gets the call back to work ... Rafe joins Chad at the scene of the crime and asks after Sonny. Meanwhile Leo suddenly realizes Sonny was stabbed with the missing knife ... At the hospital Alex later soap stares at Steph comforting sadly arrived Chad with a hug ... Justin and Bonnie are in the ER with Sonny as the doctors tend to him. The monitor beeps faster and faster ... Rafe updates arrived Jada on Sonny's stabbing and holds up the bagged knife he believes to be the same weapon used against Abigail. Meantime set up Leo panics in his polka dot slippers ... Rafe now finds Leo's conveniently placed hit list ...
