Meanwhile Orpheus returns to his hostages Marlena, Kayla and Kate. The gags come off and he ominously states it will all be over soon. Then he leaves them to enjoy the remainder of their evening ... Sonny tries to give Alex a lesson in giving others space, which Alex is naturally not likely to follow ... At the bar Steph and Leo run into each other. Leo learns the impressive gal hails from Salem and introduces himself as Matt. She has no idea she is now dealing with Sonny's worst enemy ... Orpheus addresses John, Roman and Steve on an ipad he has delivered. He sends the guys on a wild goose chase, to rescue their women folk. He gloats and gives them an hour. Steve is impatient until John enlightens him. He knows how Orpheus' evil mind works. He means a bomb will explode in an hour ... Orpheus is still vengeful about what happened to his late wife. The three abducted women appear on a live feed. The men realize the clock is ticking and get to work ... - Kayla and Marlena wonder why elegant Kate has also become a hostage. Cos she reconciled with Roman, says she. The tension in the air is thick. Marlena is still cross the diva covered for Lucas when he was holding Sami hostage and makes the comparison to what has now befallen Kate. Kate argues Roman forgave her and wishes Marlena would as well ... Alex leaves the Titan office while Sonny works. The guys are in a good place. Alex drawls he loves him before he departs ... Unsuspecting Stephanie opens up to Leo about her last relationship who ghosted her. They share drinks and giggles. Leo momentarily seems to wonder whether she could be his new gal pal like Gwen ... Gwen feels the wrath of Chad, who is still convinced she offed his beloved Abigail. He rages she even told Leo she did it. Wordy Gwen wants him to know that she was simply trying to make Sarah look guilty so that she could get Xander back. Alas it backfired. She warns him Leo is a big liar ... Alex approaches Stephanie at the bar but she blows him off again. Leo thinks she is nuts not to want such a hot guy and admires the view. Raging Alex gives Leo a hard time and enlightens unsuspecting Steph on the creep blackmailing his little brother Sonny. The Matt was really lothario Leo. He issues him a not so subtle threat. Stephanie suggests Leo just leave and he does just that ... Exasperated Kate argues to Marlena how she came clean to the police after all and appeals to Kayla to convince the blonde to find it in her heart to forgive her for the mess Lucas made. Alas Kayla is not about to go against Marlena's views ... The three good men consider the clues they have been given. The first clue refers to the past where all the bad blood started. Orpheus' wife was shot by Roman. Bonds were broken ... Kate suggests Kayla and Marlena are no saints either and Marlena suddenly realizes she is right ... - Bold Leo has decided to pay Sonny a visit ... Meanwhile Stephanie is impressed with Alex's almost knight in shining armor side and makes a peace offering of a drink ... The three good men - John, Steve, Roman - have successfully connected the location clues all the way to Stockholm - Stockholm Street in Salem, that is ... - Alex is even more intrigued by new drinking buddy Stephanie when she reveals she used to be a race car driver. She enjoys their conversation but is still not interested in Alex's earlier offer of champagne in a hot tub together ... The men race in just in time to recue the women they love ... Marlena helps John disarm the bomb by suggesting the black wire - representing John Back - is the key clue. Bingo! John kisses his babe and holds her close. Steve and Kayla have a romantic reunion as well. Roman and Kate are relieved and now in the league of classic couples it seems but is Orpheus' game is far from over ... - Gwen ominously warns Chad that he too should watch his back where Leo is concerned for he could kill again ... Leo goes to see Sonny having decided he wants to be friends. Sonny is not interested but eventually agrees to stop being enemies ...
