He grabs her and breaks down. Then he wakes up in a cold sweat, real Nicole at his side, wondering ... Jada gazes at Eric in bed and admits she did not plan to spend the night on the third date too. She hopes he does not have a bad opinion ... Roman loves the sweet bits cupcake, which Kate promises not to sneeze all over. She lights the candle. He wishes she would not worry him. All of a sudden she sneezes to wake the dead ... Steve is sorry his yellow roses spooked sweetness. She enjoys the scent and then sneezes to wake the dead. Steve wonders if she has a cold. She makes light of it and is late for work. He asks her to call when she arrives ... Roman is concerned. Kate feels indescribably bad. He feels her forehead is warm and wants his feverish girlfriend to come to the doctor. She insists on driving herself in case tis contagious and departs. Roman tosses the latest bad luck treat in the trash ... - Marlena would rather not live in fear and gets out of bed to get dressed, head to work. John suggests a quiet lunch at the lake. He blasts himself for not stopping Orpheus before. Doc believes the cops are helping but he warns the woman he loves with all his heroic heart to be careful. She agrees he can drive her and gushes to get the coffee ready too... Eric is not judging Jada and reminds her he is a former priest. He is happy about what happened and they kiss again ... Rafe sits up hyperventilating about his dastardly dream. Nicole wonders. He admits she was in it and she senses something in his demeanor. Then she demands to know what happened. He sighs he dreamt he found her in bed with Eric. Nicole suddenly looks guilty as soap sin. She worriedly wonders why he dreamt such a thing. He knows not but suddenly remembers something Jada said ... After the lovin Eric offers Jada breakfast in bed. He grins about getting to come to work late cos he works for his dad. He has always done something that mattered and she wonders whether he would return to the priesthood. It does not work that way. He admits he is at a career crossroads ... Serious Steve opens his door to black leather jacket John. They discuss their independent wives. John knows they need to beat Orpheus before he makes his next move ... At the nurse's station Kayla and Marlena compare notes about their overprotective men. Kate comes by to get checked out for her fever and woozy feeling. Marlena and Kayla perceive she is pale. Kayla wants to get her to an examining room. Kate collapses like a stylish ragdoll ... - John drawls Marlena wants to leave it all to the cops but as per Shawn the cops have got nothin. Steve agrees they must make a move ... Kate wakes up in a hospital bed, Kayla at her side. Marlena left the room to contact Roman. Kate keeps sneezing and Kayla admits her too. She starts to feel warm and collapses like another ragdoll ... Jada just loves Eric's perfect ... eggs. As they breakfast, she wonders what he likes to do and he recalls how he enjoyed counseling at the Horton centre. She probes and hears he used to be a fashion photographer, which is how he met model Nicole. She asks if that was when they fell for each other ... Nicole wants to know what Jada said. Rafe reveals she thought Nicole might find it uncomfortable that she was seeing Eric. Nicole assumes she told him she went to see Eric too. She did not and Rafe now suspiciously asks why she went. Nicole flashes back to their past passion and states she simply went to talk. Rafe asks about what... Eric admits to Jada he still loves photography. In the old days a nun submitted one of his pics for the orphanage and it won a contest. Jada would love to see his photos and smiles when he goes to get them ... - As they have coffee on the couch, John brings up Zoey, how Orpheus cares only about his kids. Steve can call an old contact in New Zealand, where Zoe lives. John believes she is still better than Orpheus. They know they need a lead before Orpheus does something ... Kayla and Kate regain consciousness and realize Orpheus must be to blame ... Marlena starts to escort Roman to Kate's room but collapses like a ragdoll. He catches the blonde before she falls to the floor ... Nicole claims she was planning to offer Eric the job of fashion photographer at Basic Black. Rafe is surprised she never said so to him. She adds Jada sort of interrupted ... Jada admires Eric's powerful pictures and suggests he work for his brother who owns a fashion company. He notes Nicole works there and she sighs. Then he decides to ask Jack if he could get some assignments for the Spectator. She thanks him for the breakfast and leaves to change for work ... John finds Marlena resting in her room and thanks God Roman was there. He just knew something would happen and confirms not only Kate but also Kayla fainted. The three couples are soon in the same room. Kayla lists the symptoms the three women in the warehouse have and they all realize Orpheus is responsible. Steve suspects the creep will make contact soon ... Rafe is back at the busy station and Jada rushes in. She updates him on her nice evening with Eric. He asks if he is planning to accept the job but Jada is not aware of any job offer ... Shirtless Eric opens his door to Nicole and their eyes lock with longing ... Orpheus calls Steve's phone and taunts as Kayla, John, Marlena, Kate and Roman listen. Odious Orpheus takes credit for the strange symptoms and warns the worst is yet to come ... STAY TUNED!
