T'was muffled as per Bonnie. Before Rafe leaves she notes the guy was not like a funny clown, not to mention he seemed more like a strongman ... Xander looks down at Ava's gun in his strong hand. Sue starts to beg for her life and swears if he lets her go she will tell no one ... EJ arrives at the airstrip. Woman in black Ava appears and warns if she does not receive the cash as promised her thug will put a bullet in his mother's head ... Xander states the stakes are too high and he cannot risk losing Sarah. Sue swears she will say nothing to no one. He worries Ava will expose him and cannot risk losing Sarah. He raises the gun at her head and she cringes but then ... EJ has transferred the funds. Ava agrees to release his mother's body and smugly states she is dead ... Xander has taken a shower to try and wash away his guilt ... Back in the DiMera mansion Tony tells fatha's forboding portrait he hopes EJ will keep his cool. Here comes raging Rafe demanding said brother's whereabouts ... EJ points Stefano's big gun at taunting Ava and declares she dies next ... Justin holds rattled Bonnie on the sofa and she kisses her true hero ... Tony tells Rafe where EJ went and admits he is concerned as Ava Vitali is out of control ... Ava taunts she won and dares EJ to shoot her. Susan suddenly runs between them ... Shirtless Xander remembers how Susan prayed for mercy for his soul. It moved him and he cried he could not do it. Then he let her go ... He fears she will tell everyone wot he did ... Ava grabs Susan and threatens to shoot unless EJ puts the gun down. Then she drags Susan off and speeds away into the night. EJ yells like an angry wolf ... - Sarah comes home to towel clad Xander with the scandalous story of the kidnapper clown who tied up Bonnie and took off with Susan. Bozo was wearing a blue suit. Xander glances at his blue suit nearby and starts to say ... Bonnie downs her drink. Justin vows revenge on the clown. Bonnie is worried about Sue's safety. Justin believes Rafe will find her and bring her home ... Rafe gets to the airstrip and finds Susan's lucky yellow hat on the ground ... Meantime madwoman Ava is speeding through the darkness. Sue wants to turn around for her fallen hat. Ava threatens to shoot. Charlie appears and warns his mother EJ is catching up ... EJ vows to send Ava straight to hell as he puts his pedal to the metal ... Charlie wants to be with his mother and urges her to exact revenge on EJ. Sue quietly prays.
