Scratched up Salem patient Tripp ends a call with worried mama Ava and then gets an unexpected visitor - Allie. He asks about Henry so she tells him he is with Lucas. She came to thank him for he saved her life ... Chanel dabs her crying eyes at the square and runs into Johnny. He was sorry to hear her mom was arrested. She sadly states mama must not be locked up and he gives her a supportive hug ... Jan lies she ordered a cute baby outfit but Shawn feels tis too early. She coos tis for Ciara's baby ... Legal eagle Belle joins EJ and Chad and updates EJ on officially having his own shares back. She also got signed proxies and they seem to have Theo, Tony, Kate and brother Peter on board. Back at DiMera mansion Chad tells brother EJ he likes them being a team and goes to call Shin about the board meeting ... - Gabi flirts up a storm with Shin. Chad now calls to announce he and other shareholders are calling a vote today at 4pm. Shin states tis a mistake, tells Gabi no worries and will see her at said meeting. Then they can celebrate. Gabi gets glum ... Jan begs Shawn to ask Ciara if she can watch him looking after the baby sometimes. He humors her and heads off to see his sister ... Chanel is shocked to hear how Tripp forgave and sacrificed himself for Allie. Johnny tells her t'was the power of his love and he can relate ... Tripp could not bear the thought of losing Allie cos he loves her. He would have done anything so she could be with Henry. Now she admits she loves him too ... Busy Gabi and Jake go over the board members' votes. Gabi complains they seem to have seven against them but Jake refuses to give up. Even a tie would do. He calls Kate for her support but she hangs up on him. Gabi pouts but he forges on with the fight ... Belle updates curious EJ on Jan interrupting her and Shawn's nice moment. The girl also had the audacity to ask to see her. EJ suggests she go and tell her she will not ruin her marriage! Chad returns with the news the meeting is a go. Belle wishes the guys good luck and goes ... Chanel excuses herself to check on Tripp. Johnny wants to thank him too and she agrees he can escort her ... Allie is eternally grateful. Tripp asks her to tell the truth. Does she harbor feelings for Chanel too ... - Jan is reading a parenting magazine when Belle arrives, asking what she wants. Jan orders her to clean up her home office cos she wants to use it as the nursery for her and Shawn's baby ... EJ enjoys a pre-celebratory toast with Chad and even places a glass at Stefano's portrait. They drink to the DiMera family legacy ... Jake got Peter on board and now he and Gabi need but one vote to make it a tie. Gabi calls Johnny and he takes the call at the hospital, sending Chanel ahead to Tripp. She gushes she cannot wait to see him at the meeting and reminds him they do great work together. He replies that was really Satan. Anyway he already gave EJ his proxy. Gabi is about to give up, but not Jake ... Chanel enters Tripp's room and shares two tight hugs with Allie, whose face lights up. Tripp sighs ... EJ and Chad enter DiMera like they own the place and EJ calls Gabi an interloper. Shin shows up, shares his displeasure and calls the meeting to order. EJ presents his and Chad’s motion to remove Gabi as CEO. Shin reads the proxy votes. There are 4 in favor. Gabi has her own and the gang also vote. But Peter says nay via video and EJ explodes. Shin also votes nay so there are 6 aye and 5 nay. That means Gabi is officially removed and the meeting is over ... but wait! Someone calls said meeting last minute ... - Belle cannot believe the nerve, says no way in hell and tells Jan she will be sent back to the slammer after the baby is born. Jan taunts she will stay here with her baby and Shawn ... Allie and Chanel appear to be in their own little world as they catch up and apologize for everything. They agree there is much to talk about and tightly hug again. Johnny enters and is surprised to see his sister. He asks Tripp how he feels. Not bad. Johnny just came with Chanel to check on him. Chanel gushes her gratitude again. Johnny calls him a hero and Allie agrees. Johnny and Chanel leave holding hands. Tripp asks Allie to stay longer to talk. He assumes she loves Chanel. Allie looks a tad tormented ... Before Chanel goes back to the bakery Johnny lets her know he is sorry and still completely committed to her. He wants to be involved in every aspect of her life and loves her. He passionately kisses her and she kisses him back ... Jan boasts good behavior would give her an early release. Belle talks back and snaps she will not ruin her marriage. She laughs at her arch enemy's claim that Shawn went to talk to Ciara about them both babysitting little Bo.
