Chanel and her sweet surprises for mama run into Julie, who was hoping to pick up some treats. Kind hearted Chanel gives her one of her own bags for Eli. Grateful Julie goes ... Abe admits there are huge holes in Paulina's story. Eli will seek answers from Lani ... Paulina believes she is to blame for bringing TR close to the family and insists she will get exonerated. Lani does not want to live a lie and intends to tell Rafe her inconvenient truth ... Julie interrupts Eli and Abe's intense discussion and worries he could collapse again. She offers bear claws and a return to his room but Eli takes off ... Chanel interrupts Paulina and Lani's heated discussion. Paulina lies Lani was just blaming herself for not seeing through Ray but she too is to blame. She sends Lani back to Eli at the hospital and Chanel seconds that ... Eric reels from Xander's reveal and wonders why Sarah was released. No one knew about the forgetting Mickey was dead detail. Xander admits he blurted out Eric had the baby, to spare her pain. Eric accuses him of being selfish ... Sarah smiles she knows the truth has been told about Eric being Mickey's real dad and is grateful to him and Nicole for looking after her. She hears a sound and assumes Eric is waking up. Rafe emerges clad in towel. Sarah gasps Nicole is cheating on Eric?! Nicole says no and wants to explain. Sarah just wants Mickey. Rafe is stunned. Nicole informs her Mickey is not at her place for she and Eric broke up ... - Eric is disgusted by Xander’s deception. He must tell Sarah the truth today! Xander gets another idea ... Paulina passionately enjoys her chocolate croissant. Chanel snaps to stop the pastry talk ... Lani visits Eli at the hospital, who was planning to come to her. He solemnly states he doubts Paulina did it ... Julie sits with Abe and points out Paulina deserves a parade for stopping terrible TR. Had she not gotten that gun ... Abe interrupts his old friend who is now also family and sighs that was not what went down ... Xander now wants to tell Sarah that Eric and Nicole are on holiday with Mickey. Exasperated Eric argues he and Nicole are divorced and she is with Rafe. The bloke begs him, then gets a call from Maggie that Sarah is gone and bolts like a bat out of hell ... Sarah sadly believes she is to blame for Eric and Nicole's breakup and leaves ... Abe now decides not to tell Julie his and Eli's suspicions ... Chanel wishes mama would take her situation seriously but Paulina suggests she will get a simple slap on the wrist. Chanel cries she cannot lose her ... Eli reminds Lani she told him Paulina SAID she shot TR. She stammers she was stressed and accuses him of grilling. She tells him to continue so he updates her on what Abe believed he heard while down - Paulina saying what have you done - perhaps cos it was Lani who shot TR ... Xander arrives at Nicole's to find out where Sarah went. Nicole coldly states she left to find her baby that perished years ago and demands he explain ... Eric runs into Sarah at the pub. She believes she is well enough to have their baby back and knows Nicole told him about Mickey. He and Nicole are still friends who have moved on. Sarah babbles about seeing Rafe at her place and now asks for her daughter she longs to hold again ... - Julie feels Abe must tell Paulina how he feels and fears the mayor might have had a change of heart ... Paulina tries to make Chanel feel better but her baby girl is a wreck about being left without her mother ... Lani acts offended Eli is interrogating her. He is still waiting for her answer so he can help. Silence. He promises together they can overcome but who shot TR? Lani tells him t'was indeed her. She intended to arrest him but ended up offing her own father. Eli insists she saved Abe who is her real father. She admits after Steve arrived Paulina confessed she did it. She asks Eli to help talk her out of pretending. Eli does not seem to think it is such a terrible idea ... Abe talks bad timing for a declaration of love but Julie disagrees. Abe decides he must wait but romantic Julie suggests where there is love there is hope to hang onto ... Rafe gets irate when Xander criticizes Nicole for telling Sarah the truth. Nicole gets irate when Xander suggests she lie she and Eric reconciled and are off on a belated honeymoon. Rafe agrees the sooner Sarah hears the truth the better. Nicole urges Xander to tell her in a loving way instead of making her hearing the tragic truth from another ... - Eric informs Sarah that Mickey is not with his family and solemnly sits her down. This will be hard to hear. Sarah gets a bad feeling ... Eli argues to astounded Lani that he and their kids cannot lose her so she should just let Paulina take the fall ... Paulina gives Chanel a pep talk and a hug ... Back at Nicole's place Rafe has found Henry's little firetruck. He praises her advice to Xander, given their history and they kiss ... Xander races into the pub, where Eric is hugging Sarah, who sobs how could you! As Sarah takes off to the loo to dry her tears, Xander assumes the worst and tells off the holy hunk but ...
