She suggests she tell the judge that her mother must be released since now Belle's case is a bust without witnesses ... - Brady offers to speak with Belle but Marlena wants to do that. He agrees to be the one to tell Paul and she thanks him. They want to believe they will find John. He hugs her and heads off to pick up Rachel. Marlena weeps ... Steph refuses to hide the maybe baby from Alex. Kayla reasons it is Joy's secret - if there even is a baby. Besides, the hospital could be liable if she violated Joy's privacy. So she must stay silent ... Phil returns to the lavish Kiriakis mansion and informs Xander Joy wanted a job. Xander agrees and wants to tell him something too ... Joy is relieved to receive Phil's text and runs into Alex at the square again. She wants to tell him ... she is staying in Salem. He acts upbeat and wonders what else ... - Xander updates Phil on rehiring Alex. He heard about his personal issues ... Steph agrees to keep the secret. Kayla feels for her. Kayla suggests Joy might come clean to Alex on her own anyway ... Joy loses her nerve about mentioning her pregnancy but does tell Alex she just got a job at Titan ... Phil explains he just hired Joy and is not sure how she will feel about working with her ex Alex ... Joy is stunned to hear Alex is also returning to Titan ... Kristen suggests Belle get her mom sprung stat and threatens to sue. Belle storms off. Ava has one more thing to say to smug Kristen and smacks her across the face hard ... Back at the house of Kiriakis, Xander suggests Alex is the best hire of the day and Phil agrees ... Alex gets his confirmation Text. He and Joy congratulate each other and here comes Steph. She hears they will be working at Titan together and looks tense ... Belle comes to see Marlena, who bears news about papa John ... Brady ends his call with Paul after assuring him the ISA is using all resources. Kristen thanks him for making Ava agree not to press charges and admits the Vitali slapped her.
