There is only one DaysCafe :) REAL TIME SEQUENCE + KEY DETAILS! - Elegant Maggie drops a mega bombshell on Alex at the glam Kiriakis mansion - It was some information from Leo stark that led Victor to change his mind about making him CEO. Titan needs no scandal so slick Vic selected his favorite redhead to run the show instead. Alex is condescending so she lists all of her biz experience, given she has already owned and run successful businesses and restaurants. She hopes he will agree to be her second in command. Alex insists on calling Victor just to make sure. He continues to act condescending but she believes she can prove herself. Alex gets a tad happier when they toast. He always likes an excuse to celebrate ... At the Salem Inn Gwen is still glum about Xander. Leo, however, always likes to see the silver lining. Jack comes by to drop off the keys to the daughter who disappointed him. He wishes her happiness in spite of the fact that she stole the Spectator and elegantly exits. Gwen seems even more sad than before because she knows her da did and still does love her ... unlike Xander. - Xander is caught off guard by legal eagle Justin's reveal that the divorce paperwork did not take due to a clerical error. He has new papers for him to sign. Xander sighs and starts to read them ... Rex acts elated when Sarah states she is preggers and also acts like he is the father. She talks timing, which indicates only Xander can be the biological father. Rex still thinks she should come to Chicago, cos he already lined up a hospital position for the medicine woman. Sarah is intrigued but reminds Rex she wants to be independent. He gets it. Enter Xander the hopeful romantic. He attempts to convince Sarah that the divorce did not take as they were destined to be together ... At Horton house Julie has just returned from another cruise and catches up with Jen. The Julie knows all about Gwen's hit and run and blackmail. She suggests she run over Gwen to solve the problem and seems to mean it too. Aghast Jen stops her from continuing. Julie now gets mad at Jack, who returns from seeing Gwen for the last time. He and Jen are ready to return to Boston and the successful paper they run together there. Julie vows to keep an eye on evil Gwen and boy she means it ... - Gwen is at the square café with Leo, feeling lousy about losing papa Jack and the fact that Xander does not even love her. Leo tries to make his favorite editor feel better ... Here comes legal eagle Justin with a surprising update about the non divorce, the fact that the ball is now in reluctant Xander's court. Leo tries to put a spin to give Gwen hope ... Sarah suspects Xander is spinning, scamming her or both! She updates him on her new hospital position in Chicago and suggests they were not meant to be together. She signs with tears in her eyes and announces she will file the papers before she departs from Salem. Xander sadly says goodbye and goes on his unhappy way ... Leo soon spies Xander at the square and wants a word. Xander woefully states the divorce papers have been signed again and as it turns out, Sarah is leaving Salem. Leo gets giddy, hoping it will mean a return to Gwen and Xander's almost romance ... Back at Horton house Jack and Jen are ready. They agree this will always be their home and walk out the Horton door for the last time - or the last time for a long time ... Justin returns to the mansion where Alex and Maggie are celebrating. He believes Victor chose Alex for the top job. Nope. The new Titan CEO is Maggie aka the fiery redhead ... As they catch up, Rex realizes Sarah did not reveal her preggers state to Xander and is going to Chicago on her own. She wants time and space to recover from the bad romance of Xander. Rex gets it ... If only Xander knew that his beloved was about to leave his life with his unborn child ... because if he did it would change EVERYTHING! STAY TUNED! Luv Cathy |
