Pretty little liar Leo has been hard at work on his column. He proudly shows working girl Gwen a copy of his first gossip piece as Lady Whistleblower. She reads the lies, then patiently points out she cannot print his untrue attack on Sonny's person. He could sue the Spectator ... Leo is let down and bored she did not accept his first dirt draft. She sends him off to find more printable dirt. The Spectator must have its standards after all ... - Sonny has just ended a happy long distance call with New Zealand Will at the pub. He cannot wait to join him and the gang. Chad arrives and is stunned to hear Sonny will be living with Will in New Zealand indefinitely. Sonny admits today is actually his last day in Salem. Chad asks about Victor. Sonny makes light of his overreaction and seems to assume capable Alex will be the Kiriakis left in charge. Chad does the math cos that means Steph will have to report to him directly. Justin soon joins them for the final farewell. They will miss both Sonny and Will ... - Alex is at Titan talking to himself about being the next CEO since Sonny is leaving. Here comes stylish Steph, who gets an update on Sonny's departure. Alex seems to believe he is better CEO material than Sonny. Steph does not deny his big ... ego. They share a handshake. Enter le Leo, looking for something salacious. He suggests Alex was the reason Allie and Chanel broke up. Steph is stunned to hear him accuse Alex of sleeping with them both - at the same time - and then breaking them up by cheating with Allie. Alex bashes his recorder and gives him the boot but Steph does not stay when he tries to explain ... Suitor Rex asks for Sarah at the Kiriakis mansion. She is not home but mama Maggie wants a word. The redhead reveals Henderson informed her that he spent the night with Sarah. She demands to know his intentions with her delicate daughter. Rex is hoping to take Sarah home as his partner in love and in work ... - Gwen finds Xander looking glum again instead of sharing her enthusiasm about working together at the paper. Stephanie arrives. Sonny is given a warm send off. He does intend to come back so he is not entirely done with Salem. Still tis enough to get emotional about ... - Alex returns to the Kiriakis mansion, where matriarch Maggie awaits. She brings up a Titan business matter. Arrogant Alex wonders why Victor is not there to discuss the business with him.
