Flashback to the black and white old days at Horton house. Pretty Alice and handsome young Tom were discussing the overflowing washing machine. He had exciting news about daughter Addie, who was going to have a baby, meaning they would be grandparents ... Back to the now. How Bo wishes he had been here for Hope when she lost papa Doug. He believes he sees them now and knows they are back on track. Doug was the eternal optimist. Hope teases Bo the fulltime grandad and they kiss in bliss. Once dressed they head downstairs. Hope informs him some mementoes were lost in the fire including the letter she wrote her hero on their wedding day. He remembers it well. She updates him on the unexpected time capsule hidden behind the mantle that only Ciara could open. Bo the sage states those that are gone live on through them ...They snuggle on the sofa and he marvels how lucky he was to snag upscale Hope. She loves her rebel and loves being a Brady. Bo asks after the ornaments and they remember hanging theirs when they were young and carefree. Snuggle alert and Hope flashes back to telling Alice she was having a baby. Now their babies have babies ... - Back in the black and white world of young Alice and Tom, Alice praises hubby's moving reading of the Night Before Christmas. And so it became a Horton tradition. She loved being a grandmother to little Julie. Doug knew she would be headstrong just like her ... Back to the present ... Hope recalls how far she and Julie have come. Initially she hated sharing Doug with her. But Alice made her see the light. Bo sees a lot of Alice in Hope. They remember how she helped them sneak precious moments together when he was on the run. Tom and Alice were a godsend indeed ... - Bo now admits to Fancyface he arranged for them to be alone at the house and suggests she put on what he hid in her closet. She giggles and races upstairs ... Back in the black and white days ... Tom and Alice are at home alone and she wonders where the grandkids went. He got Micky, Bill and Marie to take them to Miracle on 34th street. He wanted some alone time and they smooch ... Back to the now. Hope comes down in her wedding dress. Bo admires the view, now also dressed in his dapper suit. She is grateful she got the love of her life back. He swears they will never be apart again. Then he gets down on bended knee and asks Fancy Face to marry him another time. Of course and they kiss again. Bo recites his vows from the old days. Hope smiles a beautiful smile and remembers her heartfelt vows as a young girl. She gushes she loves Bo Brady today, tomorrow and always. Their loves is timeless. He slips the ring that once belonged to her mother on her finger and they smoooooch ... She gushes how he surprised her with timeless romance yet again. He suavely holds up a pic of the Fancy Face, which is theirs with her name on it again. She remembers when they pledged their endless love. He dramatically admitted she was his first love and promised to love, cherish, respect and protect her for all the days of their lives. She said the same and reminds him he is the only man she will ever love. Hope wishes they could relive those happy days. Bo suggests they sail away on the Fancy Face and go wherever the wind takes them. After all they live their best lives on adventures. Life is short. She would love to enjoy the wind in her hair and agrees so long as they can come back often. He promises since Salem is their True North. She is his life. She feels the same way and they romantically kiss ... - Back in the world of black and white Alice is in her Apron and admits to Tom she missed the family tonight. Now that the kids are grown maybe they need a smaller place. She has the empty nest blues so he kisses her and cheers her up. They agree this will be the Horton house for all generations ... Bo suggests he and Hope officially retire here just like Doug and Julie. She was thinking the same thing. Then they will be able to sail the world and come home to Salem too ... They head to the square to say goodbye to Alice and Tom. More footage of their timeless adventurous love story is shown. Now they stand and say so long to Salem ... until next time!
