But he is happy to hear Javi got his dream job. Javi suggests they celebrate at the empty house ... - Sophia and Ari used to be best friends. Sophia tells Tate she needs to sit so he helps her into a chair. Alas the baby is kicking but Tate wanted her to come. Tate steps away to get her a milkshake. Ari sits with her old pal and asks how things are. Tate is Sophia's godsend. Ari senses she is into him ... Gabi is at the bistro and texts late Ari. He makes his own decisions and asks if Cat is interested ... As they dine at the bistro Will asks if Ari is having a nice time in Salem. Gabi has not forgotten how she sneaked out that night. Will admits she broke curfew with him too. The daughter snaps she is an adult but she has no job and lives at home ... Enthused Aaron sits with Sophia and suggests they share a sweet drink. He admits he at one point thought they would wind up together ... Holly returns from her call with Nicole and updates waiting Tate. Nicole will return to see her graduate. Holly boasts she is on the Sorbonne wait list though she pronounces it SirBon. But Tate understands. She flirts how about him. He was accepted to Salem U and was grateful for that cos after rehab his grades were not great. She is so sorry he took the blame for the drugs she overdosed on ... - Javi gives Doug and Leo their privacy. Panicking Doug shows Leo the threatening note and photos. He begs for another loan. Kind-hearted Leo offers a couple of grand to make the bad guys go away ... Cat still feels to blame for Chad's pain but he blames only the late Clyde Weston. He reasons Abigail is gone and never coming back. He wants to live. Cat herself has been suffering since her parents' accident. One must take baby steps to get back to living. Chad suggests they take said steps together and awaits her reply ... Doug thanks Leo, who contributes a thousand dollars. Leo also reveals there is a lead on the stolen Horton necklace but looks like it will be far too expensive for him to get back. He wonders how it all started. Doug had a gig delivering merch but the merch went missing from his car after he met a girl at a bar. The thugs he owes have been breathing down his neck ever since. Leo promises to send him the money. Grateful Doug departs and Javi flounces back, gushing the candles are lit ... - Sophia is in a snit and excuses herself. Then she calls Tate, who does not pick up ... Chad decides to depart. Cat wants to make him dinner to make up for the skydiving fiasco. He accepts ... Sophia is touched by Aaron's admission ...
