Kristen is sullen in her cell. Here comes visitor Brady. Their eyes lock as melodramatic drums play ... Rafe reveals to Eli that Kristen is in custody ... Kristen is disappointed Brady did not bring Rachel. He wants to spare her from knowing her mean mom is a criminal. Ouch ... At the square Xander runs into Chanel and assures her Sarah has no issue with her. Sarah races up and hisses at the beeech to stay away from her man, her eyes red and wild. Chanel turns to go. Sarah grabs a knife and Xander intervenes but she believes she is saving him from Kristen ... Brady demands to know if Kristen set him up for Phil and knows whether he is alive or dead. She denies it and assumes he does not want an alive Phillip to reconcile with Chloe ... Lani worries Trask could throw the book at Paulina. Paulina tells her she need not worry about mama. Lani is still haunted by what happened ... At the pub Theo considers staying another day. Abe tells his son to live his life. Lani would say the same thing. Theo smiles since they chose to be siblings they grew closer. Abe loves his kids Lani and Theo to the max ... Rafe is aware vicious Vivian is in solitary in Statesville with Lani on her hit list. Eli wonders what they intend to do. Rafe presents him with out of state options to keep his wife safe while she does her time. Eli suddenly gets an idea ... - Xander snatches the knife from flailing furious Sarah and gasps this is Chanel not Kristen. Sarah is shocked to her senses and apologizes to Chanel. She says no worries and goes on her way in a hurry. Sarah weeps it seems she cannot escape Kristen ... Brady confirms he and Chloe are together now. Kristen hisses she was right but refuses to give up on them and their daughter. She vows to win. Brady warns never but Kristen loves a challenge ... Abe tells Theo that they must make a stop on their way to seeing Lani ... Paulina knew the terror of TR only too well. She praises Lani for saving them all. They share a poignant mother daughter hug. Paulina plans to visit when she wants. Lani teases she could talk her way into anywhere ... Rafe does not like Eli's idea but will try as asked. He departs and diva Julie comes back. Eli sits her on the sofa. Alas Lani will need to serve her time out of Salem. That means him and the twins too ... Brady talks collateral damage like Sarah, whose life scheming Kristen stole. She airily states she heard she is happy with Xander. Brady berates her for causing her irreparable mental harm ... Xander worries what comes next. Sarah sighs at least Kristen is not around. Rafe happens along and updates them on Kristen being back in custody, soon to be transferred to Statesville. Sarah's eyes widen ... - Eli explains to Julie that in order to stay safe Lani will be doing her time in Maryland, close to his mom in D.C. His old contact in D.C. will help him return to work at the F.B.I. Julie gets emotional about losing her grandson and the twins she loves to dearly ... Abe joins Lani and Paulina. He asks his girl to sign adoption papers to make their father daughter relationship legal. Paulina is much moved. Lani too ... Brady blasts Kristen for her and Gwen causing sweet Sarah to have hallucinations. She refuses to take all the blame and he talks tough. Then he hands her an old Valentine her daughter made her which he knew not where to send. She reads it and weeps. He tells her they will talk more when she has made it to Statesville ... Sarah wants to go confront Kristen and Xander cannot stop her. He has a bad feeling about wot his beloved will do next ... Julie laments losing her son David and loved the gift of Eli coming into her life. Val did a wonderful job raising him. She and Eli are always on the same team and she agrees he is right to leave with his family. However she hates letting him go and sobs as he holds his grandmother ... Chanel joins Theo at the station. He updates her on Abe's adoption papers for Lani. Chanel is pleased as punch they will be family ... Lani signs and giggles as she gives Abe the papers. Paulina says Amen. Lani now announces Paulina is her mother just like Tamara. Paulina is touched ... Eli calls Julie his hero and they have a last dance to one of David's fave songs. She decides she and Doug will be houseguests and they exchange I love yous. The song ends. - Later at the station Eli updates Lani and the gang on their D.C. move thanks to Rafe, who confirms tis a done deal and she will be safe there. Lani is emotional. Rafe hates losing his best cops and friends ... Sarah confronts Kristen the cat for ruining her life. She knows she cannot hurt anyone here in the slammer and hopes she will be locked up forever ... One by one the family say their heartfelt goodbyes to Lani and Eli. The tender tears flow. And then they leave together hand in hand. Here was a royal supercouple indeed! STAY TUNED! Luv Cathy |
