Nicole is horrified to hear she lost her life last night ... Eric has overslept in Sloan's bed and sees her reading Marlena's obituary. She assumes the serial killing part is slander and talks lawsuit but Eric wants more bed action ... - Gabi still feels betrayed. Li's little sis loves him and could not take away his happiness. Gabi eventually accepts Wendy's apology and loves the lilies. She complains about Stefan being anti-deprogramming due to the circumstances. Now he is anti Gabi as well ... - Nicole reels from the loss of the amazing Marlena. Stefan marvels they wrote about her professional successes in world papers. He suddenly senses Nicole is only worried about Eric. She counters she is concerned for all Marlena's kids. Stefan shares he is getting EJ to depose Li at DiMera. Nicole feigns surprise that EJ knew what Li had done and leaves after Stefan pokes fun at her acting ability ... Eric gets dressed and gets going. Sloan will be waiting ... Gabi is frustrated Stefan does not want to be de-programmed. Wendy suggests an intervention, bringing others on board. Gabi notes no one could help. Wendy praises her ability to fight and admits she never expected her to throw in the towel. Gaby gets to thinking ... Later the same day ... Tripp greets Wendy when she drops by. She notices his unhealed cut near his eye and is still stunned by Johnny's actions. Tripp is sympathetic since he lost a loved one ... Allie fears Chanel and Johnny have lingering chemistry. Gabi warrior princess remembers wise Wendy's words and vows to act ... - EJ heads back to the mansion to update Stefan on Li's firing, how they will soon co-CEO together. He believes the brothers DiMera will triumph. Stefan suggests they celebrate. EJ steps away to send an email, not realizing Stefan intends to drug brother's mimosa ... Allie and Chanel bicker and point fingers from Johnny to Alex. Allie decides to depart with Henry to help with the funeral arrangements. Chanel sighs in frustration ... Tripp woefully tells Wendy how helpless he feels for not being able to see his mom plus he missed involvement in his stepmom's service. He feels like an outsider. Wendy the sage suggsests time will heals all wounds. Meanwhile one must stay calm and keep going. Then with any luck he will wind up where he belongs ... Nicole runs into downtrodden Eric outside the pub, so sorry about his mother. He gasps thanks and hangs his head in heartbreak. Before he heads into the pub she wonders whether she could huuuuug him. Of course. She does and they shut their eyes. Then Sloan happens along. She dangles his phone he left in her bed ... Johnny shows up to see Wendy, which catches Chanel off guard. She is unsure where she went ... Sweet Wendy tenderly touches Tripp's almost shiner. He makes light of the war wound. She updates him on seeking forgiveness from Gabi, which she got. Alas Stefan is still saying no to reversing his brainwashing, not to mention there is no one around to do it ... Stefan has drugged EJ's drink and smugly thinks aloud about how the board will fire him for his behavior. That is when Stefan will step in ... But before he can make good on it, Gabi warrior princess creeps up behind him and whacks him on the head with a phoenix statue. Stefan drops to the floor, out cold. Dramatic Drums play. STAY TUNED!
