Belle is baffled to hear EJ grabbed and kissed Abigail at the courthouse. She suggests EJ would not have sabotaged Chad's planned testimony. She hears he said he would take Abigail on the table. Chad wants him locked up for a long time. Belle decides to get his toiletries herself ... Shawn is escorting EJ at the station since he is meeting his lawyer. Trask orders Shawn to review all of Rafe's arrest reports and leaves him with the first file of a perp who was hauled in last night ... EJ gets sarcastic when Belle johns him at the station with his toiletries. He wants to hear about his appeal. She confronts him over what Chad said he did to Abigail ... - Chad tells Xander that Abigail assumed masked Sarah was Kristen but then concluded it could be Gwen, who wanted him to stop searching for Sarah. Xander digests ... Gwen does not need another murda to be suspected of and argues Abigail is still her sista. They can say she has snapped but Ava refuses to be implicated. Ava insists they get her away and Gwen wonders how. Here comes the creepy pilot with his new expensive watch ... Nicole just got divorced. Rafe sweetly offers to go slow. She breathes she has no regrets about their table tryst. He is ready to move on with her and stop the hiding. Frantic knocking at the door. Tis Shawn ... EJ laughs at the lunacy of Chad's accusation and tells Belle he was in the courtroom with Johnny. She can ask him herself ... Chad admits Gwen appeared so Abigail realized she was wrong but he believes she came to see Gwen for answers. Xander notes she is not here and Chad goes on his exasperated way ... Nutty Ned offers to fly the unconscious female far away but it is going to cost Ava and Gwen! - EJ informs Belle that Chad must be out to get him cos he made no pass at his wife. However, he knows very well that he did not abduct Samantha, that Lucas did, and Chad aided and abetted in setting Him up. He now believes Chad wants to believe his story because he cannot handle his own betrayal. EJ argues he did not even take the role in the movie of playing Abigail's lover. Belle plays devil's advocate and asks why Abigail would have lied as well. EJ fumes he never laid a finger on that girl ... Ned knows that is Abigail DiMera and this is a dangerous job. They have 10 minutes to decide. Gwen and Ava soap stare ... Rafe lets Shawn in and he updates him on Trask's latest request. Nicole is indignant. Shawn assures Rafe he believes in him and Rafe agrees to cooperate. Shawn updates him on last night's arrest claiming the cops planted evidence on him, Rafe calls it a lie, part of the frameup. Shawn sighs Trask sent him here to arrest him ... Trask finds EJ all alone and taunts company is coming ... Ava arrives with dessert as Shawn slaps the cuffs on Rafe and Nicole woefully watches ... Gwen comes home to Xander and fibs she went window shopping. He tells her Chad came to tell him a crazy story about a mask ...Chad gets another visit from Belle, who updates him on EJ's denial.
