Nick cannot convince Kate that good cop Roman could turn killer. He reasons John and Steve fear Orpheus could go after their remaining loved ones. Kayla admits Steve wanted to get Orpheus before ... Marlena realizes the devil who looks like Doug wants her soul forever in return for Kayla and Kate's freedom. He wants to know if they have a deal. Marlena reminds him they were lied to. He scoffs to walk away if she wants. She pauses. He demands her final answer ... Glam Kate does not believe Nick so he shows her the pub discussion of Steve, John and Roman, including the final decision to make Orpheus die. The three Musketeers even clasped hands. Kate blames Steve for corrupting her retired cop hubby ... Back at the pub Roman's poignant moment with Kate's urn continues. He promises it will be done soon. Glam Anna comes through the back to check on him and admits she overhead his urn conversation. Ro reveals it makes him feel closer to Kate. Anna has been there. However, what did he mean when he said it will end soon ... Lucas refuses to leave. John argues Allie needs him. Steve thanks him for his service. John drawls they know what they are doing. Enter the confused doctor ... Suspicious Orpheus finds the empty bottle Lucas tossed in the trash and realizes he poured the booze out. Time to find out what his game is ... Fake helpers John and Steve state they usually do the nightshift to the doctor, who tells them to get back to work. They fake clean as the doctor tells Lucas to stop drinking and sees him out. John and Steve are alone now ... - Roman fibs he was referring to the fact that Kate is not laid to rest yet. Anna is sympathetic and buys it ... Kate blames Steve for being a bad influence on Roman. Then again, Orpheus deserves it. Slick Nick excuses himself to other guests but will get back when boss devil makes up his mind ... Kayla assures Kate she knew nothing about the men's plan. Kate gets an idea ... Marlena questions how to trust the devil. He says his word counts here and she agrees he can have her soul if Kate and Kayla get to go the good place. They shake on it and he stamps the document in delight. He lets her have a last moment of peace to say goodbye to her pals ... Kayla informs curious Kate that she reached Steve by thinking about him. Kate wants to reach Roman. The divas decide to try. Kate yells. Kayla suggests she shut her eyes and imagine Roman hearing her traveling voice. Imagine he is here. Kate implores Roman to hear her ... Anna sweetly suggests Roman wear a few of Kate's ashes in a vial around his neck. She will always be there. Roman suddenly hears her voice form the urn and seems spooked ... Orpheus comes looking for Lucas but finds Steve and John instead. SURPRISE ... Roman is rattled and sighs he is tired. He suddenly hears Kate. She knows about his plan with Steve and John and implores him not to ruin his life with revenge on Orpheus. On the other side Kate can sense him and repeats not to off Orpheus. Nick arrives and blames the once more compromised IT department ... Roman asks Kate's urn if she can hear him and Anna gets worried. He insists he heard her. She wanted to stop the plan. Anna wonders ... Nick is annoyed. Kate believes Roman will talk Steve and John out of offing Orpheus. Marlena arrives and is horrified to hear it ... - Orpheus knows Lucas was in on John and Steve's plan. He is sorry he missed the funeral and tries to provoke Steve, whom John holds back. John drawls the day has been difficult. Steve drawls they will feel better when they watch Orpheus die ... Marlena updates Kayla and Kate on her deal. Her two friends will not be sent to hell. They are grateful and wonder. Marlena must come clean about selling her own soul to the Doug lookalike devil. She will be in hell forever ... Anna agrees with Kate's voice. The three guys cannot off Orpheus. She urges Roman to stop the plan ... Orpheus is strapped to a bed acting cocky as ever. John and Steve intend to set up an accidental overdose. Orpheus warns they will be committing a sin. Do they wish to accompany him to hell? Steve’s phone rings. Tis Roman. John watches Orpheus like a hawk. Steve does not take the call. Orpheus suggests Roman changed his mind. Steve turns off the phone and suggests they get the garbage in the body bag ... Anna implores Roman to stop the plan. The three good men must not become criminals ... John and Steve declare they are doing this for their descendants, who would be in danger if Orpheus walked the earth. John searches for a syringe. Steve taunts Milo and asks if he is ready for hell. Today he dies ... Kate and Kayla cannot believe Marlena agreed to be in hell forever with the devil who looks like Doug. Kate is grateful. Kayla refuses to accept it. Nick warns then he has to take them all to hell. Kayla argues if one goes to hell they all do! Drums play. Marlena is touched but has made up her mind. Kayla continues to disagree. Kate reluctantly agrees. And so Nick happily decides to take Doug's angels to hell ... Anna appeals to Kate’s urn to help Roman ... Roman arrives and inists Lucas take him to Steve and John. The operation is off! ... Steve wants to do the honors and prepares to jab Orpheus, who says wait.
