Nick returns and gets catty about the funerals. Kayla hears how sad Steve was. Nick knows she went to see him last night ... Roman updates John and Steve on Lucas fake falling off the wagon. Orpheus will not see it coming ... Orpheus comes to Lucas, who acts angry, drunk, and demands another bottle. He gasps he missed his mom's funeral, grabs him by the collar and growls to help him ... The devil decided Marlena would feel more at ease with a familiar face, hence his Doug look. He wonders how he can help her ... - Allie hears Sonny and Will leave Salem today. Sonny suggests happiness matters most. Allie gets an idea and asks to join them with Henry. The double dads are delighted ... Orpheus taunts Lucas about the consequences. Lucas tries to slug him but does not succeed. Orpheus warns him to stop saying he killed Kate. When he leaves Lucas hisses he did and vows to make him pay on this day ... Nick blasts Kayla for going rogue to speak to Steve. Kate had no idea ... Roman will remain on the outside and wishes John and Steve luck as they leave. He hopes Lucas will succeed ... Orpheus returns with another bottle and wants to toast Kate together. Lucas must go first. Dire music plays but then the guard comes to get Orpheus for group therapy. Lucky Lucas splashes some of the booze on his shirt and drops the rest in the trash ... The devil tells Marlena earthly rules do not apply to hell. She tells him the trickery makes him appear ineffectual ... Sonny and Will are astonished but Allie wants to be as courageous as Kate, Kayla, Marlena. She shares Chanel broke up with her after she had a fling with Alex. She and Chanel could use some time and space to grow on their own. Lucas gave her good advice to lean on loved ones. Perhaps this would be a positive thing, to regroup and face the world together with two of her fave fellas. Sonny asks if she is sure. She believes it would be heavenly ... The devil hated losing to Marlena and now makes up his mind ... Kate wants to hear all the details. Kayla admits she could reach Steve. Kate gets upset with Nick and the fact that she knew not she could reach Roman or Lucas ... Lucas fakes loses it wanting more booze. He lunges, gets shoved aside by the guard and falls to the floor. He is now sent to the infirmary as per the plan ... - Will and Sonny would love Allie to come. Family hug time ... Nick notes the opening was plugged up so no one can reach anyone again. He taunts murder most foul is in the air. Steve, John and Roman are going to kill Orpheus ... Roman is back in the pub. He knows what comes next ... The guard tells Orpheus that Lucas got too drunk and was sent to the infirmary ... In the infirmary Lucas acts delirious and desperate. The nurse goes to find a doctor. Lucas jumps up and opens the other door to slick Steve and John ... The devil agrees to destroy Kate and Kayla's contracts.
