Stefan and Ava sit in Jada's office and Ava anxiously asks about Harris. He survived the night but suffered internal damage ... Now come the questions. Stefan and Ava deny noticing anything at the docks - but the Salem P.D.know Harris received a message from AVA summoning him to the docks. This is news to her! - Chad solemnly thanks Steph and Everett for the messages and support. He has been speaking with the insurance folks and the kids are with Maggie ... The talk turns to Cache and Cupid. Steph hugs him again and gets going to deal with a permit problem. Everett senses something. Chad reveals the fire was an act of arson. Someone wanted them gone. Permanently. Reporter Everett now hears the whole story and asks Chad if he fears for his safety. Damn straight says the DiMera ... Kristen gets catty about Teresa so Brady suggests she is jealous. Kristen does not deny it cos Teresa now seems to have two suitors - Brady and Alex. She does not like to sleep alone and points out they are in a better place. Perhaps they could revisit their relationship. Brady suggests she is a loon!!!! - Steph arrives at the station to thank Jada for reminding her she needed the Parks department to sign off on the permit. Jada was glad to help. Steph asks after Harris. It appears all they can do now is pray ... Ava sits in the hospital chapel and implores the good lord to help noble Harris survive. Her shadow Stefan sits next to her and holds her hand ... Sarah refuses to walk away from the man she loves, who loves their little girl cos he is no killer! If he says he is innocent than he is innocent. He thanks his love and adds she and Victoria are his world. Justin enters to speak with his client, having already been briefed by Sarah. The suited legal eagle insists the family is on their side and looking after little Victoria. Xander is stunned to hear of the Horton house fire and wonders wot the hell happened last night. Sarah sadly states when the Horton house burned down it took with it the spirit of Salem ... - Supportive Stefan asks Ava about Harris. Alas they would not let her see him for she is not family. So she came here to pray ... Jada admits to Steph she and Rafe have been too swamped with work to make any Valentine's plans. Steph invites her and Rafe to Valentine's dinner so they can finally meet her Mr. Wonderful. Jada accepts. They are both looking forward to it. If only they knew ... Chad tells Everett the story of the vicious message he received after the fire, how the disguised voice warned him to listen next time ... Brady is harsh with Kristen especially cos she has been keeping his kid from him. She admits she is no angel but she looooooves him and could not bear to lose him. Brady continues to blast the DiMera she-devil, reminding her of her crimes against father Eric. She argues his brother forgave her. Brady believes he did not mean it. She recalls how Brady himself threatened her with a loaded gun. He denies he would have done anything and they continue to clash. She claims anything she did was out of love but Brady accuses her of selfish revenge and raises his voice. Rachel returns and shouts to stop speaking to her mother like that. No more fighting! Her parents try to explain they still love her but she angrily rips up her card. Kristen asks Brady to leave. He sadly states he loves Rachel, apologizes and exits. Mommy reassures her with a hug and she smiles ... - Everett also concludes the caller was Clyde but it will be tough to prove. He suggests they team up and agrees when Chad warns it will be down and dirty. They need the bad guy gone for good ... Stefan sweetly holds Ava's hand as she sighs alas she cannot hold Harris' hand. She wonders whether Clyde's next target will be Gabi or Tripp. Stefan thinks not as they are not connected to that article and suggests they lie low. But they will be at the mercy of that son of a beech as long as he lives and breathes ... While Sarah watches. Xander answers all of legal eagle Justin's questions. He ran far and then heard sirens. He knows not what the text someone sent him asking if IT WAS DONE meant. Justin points out the police will get his phone records. Xander admits someone called him before that asking him to eliminate someone. Sarah and Justin are stunned. Jada returns with a box. Justin requests immediate arraignment for his client. Jada opens the box and presents a bagged gun ... - Steph finds Everett making notes at the square as the Cache and Cupid enthusiasts follow the clues. Steph announces she invited her good friends to join them on a night out. She cannot wait for him to meet them. Everett agrees and gives her a kiss ... Brady pauses outside the mansion and feels the pain of making his little girl unhappy. Inside Kristen wants her to calm down but Rachel blames her folks for always fighting ... Ava and Stefan feel they were unfairly cornered when vulnerable. Ava reminds herself she is Ava Vitali. She was not supposed to be intimidated and blames herself for Harris being on that dock. Stefan vows they will overcome together and puts a protective arm around her ... Jada explains this gun was found in Xander's apartment and as per forensics it is the very gun that shot Harris.
