She loves them and they kiss. Johnny and Chanel arrive at the hospital dressed for ... a wedding! They pause and kiss ... Steve wakes up sweetness with a yellow rose and wishes her happy anniversary. They kiss and he calls her more beautiful than ever. Their adventures led them here. More kissing ... until Steph comes in with breakfast, apologizes and withdraws ... John and Marlena kiss under the Salem sun. He has prepared a lavish Valentine's picnic for his woman in red ... Steve and Kayla emerge and Steph wishes them a happy anniversary, having planned a special breakfast. Steve would rather be alone with Sweetness but plays along ... Teresa spies Alex's leather jacket on the chair and remembers the ring that was in the pocket. Now tis gone and she gasps he is gonna propose in a special way! They toast to new memories ... Teresa has her lipstick on when Alex returns and wonders where he was. He is vague and she shows him her waiting waffles. He suggests they take a walk together ... Chanel shows her the wedding dress she is wearing under her coat and announces she and Johnny will be tying the knot here now! - As they breakfast together Steph asks which wedding was Steve and Kayla's favorite. For Steve it was when Kayla got her voice back by the bay. Kayla credits him with giving her the courage and they remember. Steve had poignantly praised her for showing him how to love and be loved. Johnny announces Abe will officiate. Abe arranged all the flowers which were not from the Salem PD as he pretended. Chanel hopes mama will be her matron of honor and Johnny hopes Abe will be his best man. Time to get the party started ... Paulina happily hangs onto the rings until tis time ... The silver fox remembers the first honeymoon he and doc had in West Virginia. They remember that romantic time and we get to remember with them ... Back to the now. John suavely eats half a strawberry as only he can. Marlena marvels at the memories. John drawls more to come. Fan girl Teresa wonders what their secret is. John says respect, trust and romance. Marlena remembers the romantic dance John paid to have with her and Teresa wants to hear more. It was the first romantic dance they shared and it cost suave John one hundred thousand! They remember and kiss. Teresa asks Marlena to show her where the ladies room is and takes her aside. She shares that Alex plans to propose today and tells her about the ring that was in his jacket before but not now. Marlena politely points out she should get things in order with her son before such a life altering moment but Teresa only has the ring on her mind ... - Meanwhile Alex admits to John he feels pressure to be romantic today. John suggests he be honest with himself and the girl. Alex agrees ... Steph informs her folks she will be attending Cache and Cupid and teases she will be gone long. The are happy old friend Abe is marrying Johnny and Chanel as they speak ... Johnny declares he and Chanel will be together forever. He will love and protect her until the end of time. Chanel emotionally explains that her love knows no words no limits. Together they can overcome all obstacles. She hereby gives him her hand, her love and her heart. Tis time for the rings. Paulina is elated to watch as Abe pronounces them hubby and wife. Johnny gives his bride a loooooooon kiss. Paulina stands and the gang all hug on this happy day. Alas a nurse arrives to escort Paulina to surgery. Abe will accompany her as far as is allowed. After more I love yous they leave and Johnny assures his new wife her beloved mother will be alright.He tells WIFE he loves her and she tells HUSBAND he can tell her again. They seal the deal with a smooch ... - Steve loves being alone at last with his baby, who ushers him back to the bedroom ... Back at Alex's place Teresa marvels at John and Marlena's romance. She wonders what he had planned. Alex will head to the office. She will be waiting. She made a bistro reservation for Valantine's and will see him at eight. He casually agrees and leaves. Teresa tells herself he will propose at the bistro and she will soon be Mrs. Alex Kiriakis ... Marlena updates John on Teresa believing Alex would propose today, which is clearly not on his mind.
